Qarbon IT was responsible for the development of custom software (system) for the full digitization of TRADA MEBLE's production process. 
The main task is to facilitate the management of multiple sales channels and the optimization of planning and execution of orders for customers.
The premise of the created solution was also to create a dedicated solution for our needs and reduce excessive subscription costs resulting from the use of Baselinker and Apilo software.
Thanks to the creation of a dedicated solution, we were able to develop the functionalities we needed, which were unavailable during our previous work on Baselinker and Apilo.
Thanks to the created integration with Google Maps and Mapy.cz, we have the ability in the created system to add, edit, and plan delivery routes with orders - which until now was not possible and was done manually using Google Docs.
Thanks to the created integration with all necessary sales channels such as Amazon, Allegro, PrestaShop, Kaufland, etc. The working time of the order processing department has been reduced.
In addition to the aggregation of all orders from sales channels, the system also includes the ability to manage employee access or manage the fleet of cars that deliver orders to customers.
The system has been designed in such a way that it can be further developed with components that will be needed in the future, along with the scaling of our business.
Thanks to the sensational work on the UX/UI level, the operation of the tool for TRADA MEBLE employees is very intuitive and easy to implement.

After a few months we received a fantastic Order Management System, thanks to which we can easily process orders, issue shipping documents and invoices.

The project focused on creating a seamless integration between TakeDrop and Allegro, a major Polish shopping platform. This integration empowers TakeDrop users to leverage Allegro as a sales channel for their dropshipping products. Qarbon IT's backend developers, using Node.js, built a robust connection allowing users to set up and manage Allegro stores directly within the TakeDrop application. 

The integration goes beyond store creation, enabling product listing and order processing for Allegro purchases. In essence, when a customer buys a product on Allegro, the order automatically reflects on the TakeDrop platform, triggering the existing dropshipping mechanism. 

Throughout the project, Qarbon IT ensured the delivery of a fully functional and rigorously tested integration. This successful integration resulted in a significant expansion of sales channels for TakeDrop users through Allegro, streamlined order processing for dropshipping purchases, and an enhanced user experience for managing Allegro stores within the TakeDrop platform.

We started developing the application. At a certain point, we needed improvements in the project and much more support, so we started looking for qualified JAVA developers. That's how our collaboration with Qarbon IT began - they provided us with just what we needed.

An additional challenge this time was the specificity of the market. We had to take care of UX optimization and a language layer that would fit perfectly with the expectations of our users. The application was developed in JAVA technology.

He offered support from their software development specialist - right away. After receiving blind CVs, and after some interviews, we were sure that this is a trusted company we want to work with.

When we started working with Qarbon IT, the tasks at that time were mainly resolving problems reported by users and keeping the code up to date. Then, we went through the process of integration and scrum training. The scope of work consisted of adapting the wallet to a new application released by one of the software development teams. The next step was to modernize the app's layout, fix critical issues, add functionality that users wanted, and finally optimize the code. The application is written in Vue2 and JavaScript, currently in transition to Vue3 and TypeScript.

We were working with two software developers from Qarbon IT - one fronted developer and one fullstack developer. So far, both have been working on the fronted side.

Technologies that have been used for this purpose are React, GraphQL, and MUI.

The outcome of the project is software that enables the digitalization of production documentation (instructions, forms, technical drawings), and facilitates the collection, analysis, and visualization of production data (from operator, machines' PLC, databases used in ERP, MES systems).

It helps in optimizing production costs by increasing operators' productivity, raising awareness of product quality, reducing unplanned breaks, optimizing operating times, reducing costs, and eliminating paper documentation and their manual completion.

Qarbon never failed to send a report, so we were always up to date during the project. In general, we had no bigger problems or understatements with them.

We hired Qarbon IT to create an app for us based on our initial concept. The app was intended to be a platform for the music community. For artists - to help them search, reach out and book chosen venues.

For venues - to help them get in touch with the best and new artists, receive proposals from them, and then accept or reject the proposal.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for the most competent IT company to take on the task of turning our idea into a finished product. We came across their website, read their offer, and then decided to contact them.

After receiving a quote and discussing the project, we decided to start working with Qarbon. The decisive factor was also whether the team we would receive would be exclusive to us and would show actual cooperation in the project, not only performing tasks from A to Z.

Their commitment and the fact that they came up with their own suggestions strengthened my decision.

Planning of the development was on time with only an extension of 2-3 weeks. This was I think caused on my behalf because of a late answer I gave when I was not responding for 10 days, but also may be that the timing of the planning was too optimistic.

The team made great efforts with the changes requested and they were between 2-3 working days which means that the team was efficient and responsive. It was a total greenfield project: we came up with an idea, which Qarbon consistently developed together with us, suggesting the best possible solutions.

As a result, we’ve received an operational native application with a functional Administrator's panel and fancy design.

A team of 11 people from the vendor’s team worked on the application. The team consisted of three backend developers, two frontend developers, one fullstack developer, a Project Manager, QA tester, and two UX/UI designers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The process of dealing with Qarbon generally was smooth. Like any project, there are always some bumps along the way. I felt some misalignment at the beginning of the project.

However, as time went on, the Qarbon team proved to be on the same wavelength as us and managed the challenges well. The team was deeply engaged in the whole project and together with us developed the idea of the application, and suggested the best solutions and optimization measures.

Communication was straightforward and the team seems to understand and work in the projects like it was their own. This really gave motivation to the team members and also us as founders. Kat is an excellent asset to Qarbon and she showed that she can handle a project with great care and responsibility.

Sometimes she was overthinking some features of the app but I understand her point of view that she had to take everything into consideration before making a decision and progress with the development. I noticed that there was a change of a designer during the projects from one guy to a girl which showed improvement in the designs but also in the interest that she was showing during the video calls compared to the guy in the beginning.

This indicates that the team is willing to make sacrifices to keep and work according to the initial plan that was made.

The team quickly understood our needs and helped identify issues to suggest sound solutions. I appreciate their commitment to the project, which resulted in the functional native application that we are satisfied with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Slack group chat was not as much used as expected but I have no complaints. Szymon was using it more than anyone else. It’s a better way to communicate with the clients and it makes the client like a part of the team rather than sending emails with Cc.

Just keep that in mind in future collaborations. There was one team member on the project team who seemed disengaged. It was frustrating to us and to the rest of the Qarbon team. I believe Kat got him off the team later.

We are yet to test the quality of the app and fix some bugs. More feedback could be given once that stage is done.
