Cryptospace - Cryptocurrency OTC Trades Platform
Our client needed a team of programmers to support the development of an existing cryptocurrency exchange platform. The main requirement was no language barrier- all developers had to be fluent English speakers with at least a C1 level. The client was looking also for a software company with experience in similar projects. This app is a reliable source of over-the-counter trades and, unlike other exchange platforms, it’s also a direct buyer or seller of all transactions. Over-the-counter transactions are conducted through private contracts with dedicated account managers and traders. The project is still supported by our programmers - frontend developer and DevOps.

Impily - A cryptocurrency exchange app & website
Impily app is a place where you can buy, sell, exchange and store cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Dogecoin.
Our client wanted to create an entirely new landing page and develop the front end of a web application - a cryptocurrency exchange app. The main goal was to improve website traffic, speed delivery and code quality. Within three months, we've got great results, including a significant increase in traffic on the website and many new customers. Also, when it comes to the front end of web applications, the quality of delivery and code has improved significantly.

Algory - cryptocurrency tools for crypto trading made in JavaScript
We built an application that retrieves data from the 21 largest cryptocurrency exchanges using WebSocket technology to connect with them. It displays this data to the user in the form of filtered transaction signals. It retrieves also data from over 1000 sources publishing the information about cryptocurrencies, it displays them to the user giving him or her the possibility to filter, select and add new sources.
We were responsible for designing the architecture, selecting technologies and writing backend and frontend code. We have used the following technologies:

The architecture was based on the microservices. Some of them had to be divided into several clusters (processor threads) because of the huge amount of data flowing through them.

PPC - pay per click - a project created in JavaScript!
The PPC company needed a system supporting call centre in the selling online services, which we have a pleasure to create. On a daily basis, approximately 170 consultants use it to gather the information about the customers, and as a support in the selling process. It helps also the owners with managing the company and with the whole sales structure. This application is being developed constantly.
The biggest challenge we have to face, while creating this application, is its dynamics. It is necessary to constantly introduce changes tailored to the client’s new needs. Every day, the application is growing in new functionalities, and previous ones sometimes are repeatedly modified. The whole system is very complex, especially due to the fact that there are eight different levels of permission that can be assigned to selected users.
The system was created with Node.js and React.js technologies. The architecture is based on microservices, with NATS for communication between them. The server is based on NGINX technology.

Wolumen - online energy broker, a JavaScript project.
For a company called Wolumen, we created a system for managing relations with partners as well as for collecting data from potential clients for a company from the energy industry. The biggest challenge in this project was the calculator. The user enters the data and the calculator is counting both the offer for the energy supply and its distribution from different suppliers. On the basis of the result, it presents the offer for the client.
To create this system we used Node.js on the backend side. However, one of the microservices responsible for completing PDF files was created in the JAVA environment. Above mentioned calculator, the website, and ACP were created by using the Vue.js framework.
This application supports many people in many fields. It helps partners to acquire new customers and build their own sales networks thanks to the partner program. Customers can find a better offer on the basis of data on the electricity invoice. The administrator easily manages the finances and partner network.

2nr - app for telecommunication made in JavaScript!
2nr is an easy-to-use application for phone communication without the need for an additional SIM card.
We have created an app backend for a startup that allows the user to make phone calls without a SIM card. The application was developed from scratch using technologies such as Node.js, Asterisk, and Firebase. The application allows users to send text and pictures messages using the SMPP and MM7 protocols.

Picsane - create, innovate, elevate - a project created in JavaScript!
Picsane is a company from the entertainment industry. On a regular basis, we create solutions that allow them to display photos taken during events accessorised with products and services from Picsane offer, such as giphbox. This particular service creates a sequence of photos and saves them in mp4 format. Later on, they can be displayed in a gallery available for the event participants.
We have also created a website written in Vue.js.

Jobsy - a project created in JavaScript
Jobsy is React Native application for temporary workers and a Vue.js application for employers looking for a flexible workforce management tool which helps find affordable and well-located employees. The application also allows to communication between those parties. This project was a great organizational challenge. It's just another reason for building another great web applications in JavaScript! :-)

Wall Of Heros - a JavaScript project!
Vue.js application is displaying on 4K screen inside one of public high schools in the United States. This custom application displays war veterans and allows to add a new one by its users. Besides this big 4K display application is also available online. The biggest challenge was to synchronize the database on the high school server with the database working on a remote server. Moreover one of the requirements was that the application should work offline, so we had to conduct a synchronization process at those moments when the application has access to the internet. It was all made with the usage of JavaScript.

Posterilla - a JavaScript project!
A React application embedded inside Shoper (e-commerce shop creator). Our web and mobile application allow users to create a composition of posters and visualize it inside a room in which they will be located. The most challenging was integrate React application with the external platform bidirectionally. It was made with the usage of JavaScript!

Remote Day Trader - a JavaScript project!
For the RDT company, we have created a unique application that aggregates data from different sources in real-time and then displays them to the user in form of signals supporting investment decisions. We have developed this solution with usage of JavaScript.

This time this was Vue, React Native, and Node.js. Work on the project took 6 months. During this time, they delivered the app, which is divided into a panel for the employer and employee. It has features such as displaying job offers only within a certain radius from the location and searching for users based on their skills.

In the beginning, all consultations on what the application should look like were carried out by the CTO and Qarbon IT technicians. After that, we worked with a team of four software developers, both backend and frontend. The team was looked after by the Project Manager who was responsible for the whole process of development.

The project was delivered on time. Communication with the team was clear and regular meetings kept us informed as the work was moving forward. Two applications, both mobile and web, were delivered with all the functionalities we expected.

The work was divided into weekly sprints, during which progress and challenges for the coming week were arranged. Each developer had assigned specific tasks, which he diligently implemented, and everything was supervised by the Project Manager. The communication took place online, but it was not difficult. We wanted to develop an SSR RWD Landing Page and frontend of a web application - a cryptocurrency exchange app. Our goal was to improve traffic on our website and accelerate delivery and code quality

The goal was to finish an application that was partially done, based on designs prepared by the graphic designer We also asked Qarbon IT team to create a new landing page. They used NuxtJs in conjunction with Vue and served content via Strapi. The first stage was to make a design project for web and mobile and then implement these solutions.

Within 3 months we saw the results of the cooperation. We’ve seen a tremendous boost in traffic on the website and gained new customers. Web and mobile design are modern and transparent. Navigating through the application is simple and easy. If it comes to the frontend of our web application we’ve noticed a great improvement in delivery and code quality.

We were looking to do a custom application for a public kiosk that would list and display ex-military veterans on the wall of a high school.

Qarbon IT developed a custom web application with tailored hardware. It’s a 4K application with data synchronization. The team also set up web servers and managed the administration portal. We provided them with mockups and the process flow, and they completed the work off-site.

A co-worker who created the layout and front-end mockup of the website recommended QARBON to me because he was already running several other smaller projects together.

Before the commencement of operations, QARBON interviewed me regarding the company's strategy. So they decided that according to our plans it would be most sensible to put the entire system on JS Vue (for mobile applications). The developers have worked over 3000 hours, which shows that it was a really big project. Along the way, we encountered many challenges and problems that had to be solved for the first time - especially when creating a calculator - when it comes to contracting energy for entrepreneurs is a very complex topic.
We worked as standard for two-week sprints, we improved what was needed and the next sprints. At this stage:
- During the meetings of the Zepsol, the sense of the solutions I proposed was worked out
- I have received feedback that due to the design of the system, he will do it in one way or another
- In order to save both the time of the breakdown and the company's financial resources, I received continuous suggestions thanks to which the system could be expanded with new modules in my opinion, the entire project is the essence of the flexibility of the team and courage in talking to the client, proposing how it is now taking better-than-intended solutions

What challenge were you trying to address with Qarbon IT?
I was looking for a company that could provide complex solutions for the website and application I was creating.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Qarbon IT has provided UI/UX designers and programmers that created everything I was looking to build. Their UX designers prepared all the screens of the website, then passed the work to the UI designers, who added colors and other graphic elements.
The programmers took over from there and they also built the backend database to which all applications connect. One of the components is a scanner that goes through almost 20 different exchanges. We built it with one language initially, but the site is able to have other languages added easily.
After we defined the bigger idea, we focused on small parts like how the scanner and news aggregator should work, and what websites we were going to screen.
Qarbon IT detailed the information they would need from us at each stage, starting with the goal of the website, who would be its clients, and what colors we wanted. They made a lot of suggestions as well, and they created everything from scratch, including the logo.
What is the team composition?
There are 2–3 people working on the website, and 4–10 working on the app, depending on the moment. I worked with different developers at each stage, depending on my needs.

I asked around in my area about companies that could build the app and one of my friends referred me to Qarbon IT. I met one of their owners and discussed the scope. Later, when I was looking to create the application, I decided to work again with Qarbon IT based on the first experience.

The first project with them was around May 2019. My latest project with them was in 2020, and it’s ongoing.

I'm the CTO for a new product of my client.
For what projects/services did your company hire Qarbon IT, and what were your goals?
I chose Qarbon IT to build a new version of a dedicated system to support the loyalty program in shopping centers. The main purpose of creating the new system was scalability and the use of new technologies as well as improving the current system operation.
How did you select Qarbon IT and what were the deciding factors?
I know Qarbon IT from projects in other companies. One of the decisive selection factors was the price-to-professional ratio in the project implementation.

At beginning there were 4-5 people to development core part of software. After product release I have two permanent people to develop new things in the application.

Currently, the product is partially completed (basic version) and launched at two customers. Now it is being expanded and some modules are being improved. In this year we have plan to implement new functionality.

For the purposes of my project, we have established weekly work statuses. We use Slack and ClickUp for ongoing project communication.

I had direct access to team of developers like my team. It was very useful in solving problems quickly.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Two things: 1. The testing process could be more accurate and detailed, in my case some errors were not caught. 2. During the duration of the project, I sometimes lack creativity and proposals to solve problems. This problem has been resolved by some people in the project.
With Qarbon IT's, both web and mobile applications were successfully developed on time. The team excellently demonstrated smooth communication and kept the client informed with every project stage. A reliable team, they provided precise answers and solutions to every problem that arose.
