All the our customer purchasing experience at the store was optimized, reducing the time by 70%. Increase the profit margin since through the page, we open new sales windows.

The delivery time was as agreed. The team was very responsible and very committed to my needs, and something that I loved was that every time they delivered something, they exceeded my expectations.

That they speak Spanish was one of the main reasons I hired them, since it is my native language, and that they speak to me in Spanish and understand my needs has been incredible. In addition to being a team that is very committed to my needs, they gave me many ideas and marketing strategies for my business, which helped me increase my sales.

I’m an independent insurance broker and a financial advisor; I work on my personal brand and own my business.

What challenge were you trying to address with Protos Technology?

I had all my personal brand accounts on Instagram, and at the start of 2023, Facebook blocked all my accounts, including my Instagram, leaving me in the air. Folks I know in the marketing industry told me I should invest in a website since it wouldn’t be easy to erase and would improve my search results. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Protos Technology designed and developed my website from scratch. First, they designed my brand’s logo. They asked what I liked, and I told them I wanted a personal brand with my name. The team gave me color palette options and 10–20 logo design options for me to choose from. 

From there, Protos Technology designed the site with my chosen color palette. I had a photoshoot, organized information in an Excel file, and provided that to the team. Protos Technology told me what they needed and worked iteratively based on my feedback. They built several pages, including a blog page for me to populate.

On the website, users can find details about my professional career and the companies I work with. They can also find all my products, such as life, health, and car insurance. When users enter the site, they see that the first appointment with me is free. Customers can email me their information through the site if they want an insurance quote. As for investment funds, users can schedule an appointment with me through Zoom, and I receive an email with the appointment date. 

Protos Technology also integrated Google Analytics into the website. Once the team finished the website, they trained me and one of my employees to upload information.

I had contact with three Protos Technology employees: a designer, a developer, and Andreina (LATAM Senior Business Advisor), who was my main point of contact. 

How did you come to work with Protos Technology?

I searched for and compared various companies, and a colleague referred me to Protos Technology. Although I received various proposals, Protos Technology delivered the most complete one and included follow-up, which none of the others offered. I met with the team; they were personable, kind, and open to what I wanted. Moreover, Protos Technology gave me many ideas for the website. Ultimately, I decided to work with them. 

How much have you invested with them?

I spent around $10,000. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I had the first meeting with Protos Technology in December 2022, and we worked together from January–April 2023. Since development ended, they’ve also provided maintenance services, and whenever I need a consult, I go to Protos Technology.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Protos Technology’s work was great, and people who saw the website loved it. They delivered on their promises and then some. The site looked great and had an excellent style that matched my personality. On my part, I have to manage the site to obtain the results I want. However, Protos Technology offered additional services like advisory to set up keywords, but I haven’t hired them for those services yet. 

How did Protos Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

Protos Technology was flexible with the payments. Although we had initially set an earlier deadline, it took a bit longer because they worked as I paid them. The team was flexible when I needed payment extensions and didn’t pressure me. 

The team showed me the site’s progress as they went, and I sent them information. Whenever I gave them more material, they added it to the website without issue and were open to making changes. I saw the completed website 2–3 times and asked for changes, and Protos Technology was always open to those requests. 

The communication was great; we mostly used WhatsApp. I had Andreina’s number; she sent me the rest of the team’s contacts when needed. The team sent me billing information and quotes through email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Although I haven’t worked with any other web development provider, Protos Technology offered me more than other companies in their proposal. I met with two other providers, and Protos Technology was the most involved. 

Moreover, I appreciated that Protos Technology had experience with another client in my industry in Central America who sells through their website. Protos Technology’s expertise stood out. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s always something to improve, and I’m sure details about the website will pop up. I still don’t know what else they can do for me or what my site can do, but I trust they’ll be able to help me like they did with the Google Analytics integration. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Protos Technology shows empathy with their clients; they put themselves in my shoes and integrated into my team. The team gathered my needs as they went, which not every company does.

We have been able to improve times in our administrative management with a saving of 65%, dedicating more time to our existing clients, converting persistence into 96%, more time available to prospect as a result of a 35% growth in agent recruitment and a sustained increase in our annual sales. at 27%.

I really believe that those that were not achieved in the manufacturing process were duly resolved in the tests, after-sales service and maintenance.

I’m the vice president of Smartmatic, an election tech company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Protos Technology?

We had a personal project where we wanted to build a new video-based social media app. It would combine short videos into a single message that’s automatically generated. We already had an idea and concept of what we wanted to achieve, but we needed someone to materialize this concept into an app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Protos Technology provided three services for us: support during the UI/UX design process, development services, and maintenance of the final product in the cloud.

They developed a web app from scratch so that the app could support activities such as recording a statement, real-time web camera recording, and social media sharing. The team created a responsive design and integrated a custom video player into the final product. The app was meant for cell phones with different connectivity challenges. It would allow users to record, upload, post, and view different videos.

What is the team composition?

There were at least five people working on the project, but we only had interactions with two of them.

How did you come to work with Protos Technology?

The owner of Protos Technology and I were co-workers years ago. He already had this company back then, so I’ve known about it for a long time prior to this project. 

When our need arose, we invited them, along with 3-4 other companies, for an interview. I liked that Protos Technology collaborated with us beyond delivering the product; they also offered help in the design and business conceptualization side of things. We decided to go with their offer because they weren’t just an outsourcing shop, they also had additional services that would be very valuable to us.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted from January 2018–June 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

There were very few to no bugs in the final product, and the web page was very stable. It allowed us to manage videos over the web and maintained the high quality of posted videos. The UX was also very smooth-performing.

How did Protos Technology perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was very good. Working with Protos Technology was a positive experience. We imposed our own tools because we wanted to feel comfortable and familiar with how they did things. We used a Kanban-style app to keep track of tasks that are in progress and tasks that are done.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

We could tell that Protos Technology really wanted us to succeed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This is more on us than them, but our requirements were a bit ambiguous. We could definitely improve on that internally.

You need to know how to make requirements right. Be clear about the goals that you want to achieve.

I’m the owner of ECG Engineering Consulting Global Inc, and we conduct occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) inspections at construction sites.

We wanted to get new customers online. As a result, we hired Protos Technology to build a new website that could help us get a good position on Google.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The team built and designed our site from scratch, and they integrated Google Maps. One of the main important features of our platform was our contact form where our customers could send their inquiries. After creating our platform, they also provided maintenance services.

We only worked with one person from Protos Techonology.

My business friends told me that Protos Technology was a good company, so we reached out and started working with them.

They did a great job with my website, and we were able to get new customers because of our platform. Protos Technology was a really good company, so we plan to hire them again for our customer service survey.
