We started with an introductory meeting followed by a briefing questionnaire, outlining our objectives of the explainer video. This was quickly followed by the first script and storyboard which were spot on and needed very little change.

We worked with a project manager who provided us with support throughout the process. We found it easy to communicate our requirements which were always accurately understood, as well as providing guidance where it was needed

We have not launched the video yet as our website is still being developed. But we feed assured and confident that the video will be impactful and effective.

The project manager was easy to communicate with during the whole production process, understanding our requirements with ease. They use a communication platform called Teamwork. This allowed the production team to pick up on any queries or changes quickly and if our main project manager was not available there was another team member available to respond.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They understood our brief and requirements from the start, allowing for a quick turnaround time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Even though the process is fully online and not face to face, the production process was seamless. There is nothing I could suggest for them to do differenly.

They have a discovery meeting and after that a survey that we had to fill out. All of the communication was then exclusively over email. They did not like to communicate over Slack or any other channels which was a bit inconvenient

We worked with an account manager and everything was done through email with occasional calls if we insisted on it.

They use email and calls for communication. They are available all the time for emails but have limited availability for calls.

They are available 24/7 to answer questions or concerns.

I wish they tried to understand the product better instead of giving a minimum effort on that side. We needed to press them in order for them to give their best work.

The video was awesome and about as high quality as a previous one we paid 10 times the amount for.

We hired Promoshin to create an animated short film profiling the life of a famous figure in U.S. history. We wanted the video to be visually appealing to kids with high energy, while still packing a punch with educational content.

We selected Promoshin because it was affordable and the flexible pricing structure was attractive.

We started with a discovery meeting, moved to scriptwriting, and then storyboarding. After the storyboard was complete, we recorded voiceovers and then began the animation and editing process.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with a project manager who directed the entire production team. For feedback, we either provided email instruction or recorded Loom (like Zoom) videos to explain our edits. It was quick and easy.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The video is beautiful and entertaining. We gave loose parameters on what we wanted and the production team definitely delivered a quality product when we worked together on edits.

The project manager was easy to communicate with. We interacted with two which was nice so that feedback and responses came especially quickly. During the early stages of the storyboarding process, we wanted to receive more regular updates, and the team quickly adjusted. Zero issues with communication.

We were impressed with their work's value for money. High-level animation and storytelling for an affordable amount.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Promoshin typically creates marketing videos, but we built a short film. As such, there were some creative steps that could be adjusted for the video style, such as allowing direct interaction with voice over artists, but overall not much.

I love this company more and more. I would highly recommend them. In fact my company recently did 2 videos with them and they were so good. We will surely continue working with them. Please hire them!

They are professional. We had some issues in the beginning...mostly on our side with communication and new to their process. But once that was sorted out. It was a smooth process.

As I've mentioned, it was communication and us be new to the process. But once that was sorted out, the process became smoother.
