I'm the R&D director of Adapt-E. We develop advanced simulation software and immersive training systems for the military and medical sectors, utilizing technologies like VBS, Unreal Engine, and Unity. We also offer custom solutions in software, robotics (ROS), and electronics prototyping.

What challenge were you trying to address with Prologix?

We needed help with a few projects. One was to create company infrastructure, and the second was to build 3D models for our simulation.

Prologix was responsible for building the backbone of our IT infrastructure, including network architecture, server setup, and internal systems integration. In parallel, they created detailed 3D assets tailored for our simulation platforms, which are built on engines like Unreal and VBS. Their work directly supported the development of immersive training modules and interactive environments used in our advanced simulation software.

We worked with two teammates from Prologix.

How did you come to work with Prologix?

We found Prologix through the Polish Software House website. They were the only ones who could provide the tailored solution we needed.

We spent around $10,000 on the first project and $35,000 on the next one.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The successful delivery of optimized 3D models and a stable IT infrastructure had a direct impact on our operational readiness and product development timelines. Prologix's work accelerated simulation development by reducing integration time and avoiding rework. Additionally, the visual fidelity and performance of the models enhanced immersion and user engagement, improving training effectiveness.

Moreover, the infrastructure delivered by Prologix allowed us to onboard new simulation modules without performance degradation, ensuring system scalability. These outcomes aligned with our strategic goals of delivering high-quality, immersive training systems for the defense sector — on time and within budget.

How did Prologix perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated via Teams and phone calls. Prologix delivered on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Prologix's work met our acceptance criteria. Each 3D model delivered by Prologix was evaluated against strict acceptance criteria. For example, the geometry complexity of all models was kept under 30,000 triangles to ensure optimal performance across simulation platforms.

Additionally, the models included multiple Levels of Detail (LOD), allowing seamless scaling of visual fidelity depending on system resources and distance from the camera. Every asset matched our technical specifications, including correct dimensions, interaction points, and compatibility with simulation engines like Unreal and VBS.

Moreover, all models followed our internal style guide, including proper texture layering (e.g., diffuse, normal, ambient occlusion, roughness) and lighting setup, ensuring realism and clarity in immersive environments.
