Complicated backdrops and visual effects needed to be created to tell a very complex story within a short timeline. The storyboard was a critical part of the project. The team had to work with voice over actors, a director and deliver 3 separate videos within a very tight timeline. The special effects all needed to be created and designed, along with the look, movement mannerism of the avatar.

We needed a video intro for a client, animating their logo, along with a sound bed.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We tried a few others, but they either could not do what we storyboarded, or they did something completely different and tried to "sell" that to us. Prolific listened, and delivered the perfect result on the first try!

We contact them, and after exchanging some emails, sent them a storyboard. he gave us a price, we agreed, and after just one weekend, he delivered the video.

Kamal was in constant contact, giving me progress reports. feedback was easy, although there was not a lot to say as he nailed it on the forts try.

We wanted to create a corporate promotional video that explains our services and solutions in an easy to understand way.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We looked for video production studios with good reviews online, and after reviewing three proposals, we decided on Prolific Studio due to the quick response, project guidance, fair pricing, and professionalism experienced during an introductory call.

We were guided through each stage of the process which includes an initial questionnaire, draft script, style frames, storyboard, voiceover selection, background music selection, and the initial animation/video. Upon final approval, we received the full, final video in the desired resolution and production quality.

We worked with one point of contact. Customer service and responsiveness was top-notch. Through each step of the process, we were allowed to make revisions as needed and provide feedback to our point-of-contact. Feedback and revision requests were addressed very quickly and professionally. We couldn't be happier with the communication throughout the entire process from start to finish.

We showed the new video to all employees as well as some clients and received immediate positive feedback. Job well done, Prolific Studio!

The project manager was very easy to communicate with, provided frequent updates, and was very responsive. We mostly communicated via email, text, and voicecalls.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They took the time to learn about our services and company. They were also very responsive to working with us in a collaborative way. The turn-around times for all stages of the process, including revisions, were also very impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

This was our first promotional video project as a company. We were extremely happy with the overall process and final result, so we really don't have anything to suggest as an area of improvement.

To complete the tech stack build of our SecureSovereign platform, we launched an indiegogo crowd funding campaign and needed an Explainer Video for that purpose.

We liked some of the sample Explainer Videos that Prolific Studio displays on their website.

The staff at Prolific Studio are quite intuitive. We gave them our proposed outline, they provided feedback to tighten it up into an allowable amount of video time, we agreed on a revised outline, provided some sample product screen shots, and they ran with it. Really no alterations required in content and completed with on the first iteration. Amazing!

I worked with Kamal Hasan who was very thorough.

Staff likes it. We'll see how the consumer likes it as our campaign continues as of this writing.

Project management was quick and to the point. Emails back and forth only a few times enabled the creation of our Explainer Video.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I liked that they managed my expectations phenomenally. They were able to deliver much quicker than promised. The initial iteration (without professional voice over, which came in the 2nd iteration) only took a few days and I was expecting at least a week.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing could or should be done differently. We will use them again.

Prolific Studio produced an animated music video to help me promote my new song. I wanted to veer away from standard performance music videos, so I relayed my particular needs to their team. 

I crafted the storyboard and plotted out four different scenes that I wanted to see in the video. Prolific Studio then handled the entire production stage with my design preferences in mind.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I didn’t have any quantitative metrics in mind when I launched the video — it was mainly intended for my family and friends. However, I could confirm that everyone approved of it, particularly liking the unconventional and lighthearted vibe it gave off.

How did Prolific Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated via email and phone calls. Prolific Studio was a responsive team, and they were always receptive to feedback.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with their accommodating and communicative approach — I always felt that my opinions were valued throughout the engagement.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I would’ve appreciated a more transparent workflow. Personally, I prefer to be more involved in such projects, so I would’ve liked it if I knew who was in charge of implementing the creative solutions instead of hearing it from the project manager.

Make sure to impart valuable and detailed feedback that their team can refer to. Prolific Studio is a responsive team, and they’ll appreciate it if you openly communicate with them.

The process was simple and seamless. I engaged with Kamal (my account manager) and we discussed a strategy on how to get my vision onto a video. With my guidance and their skills, we produced a great commercial.

I worked with Kamal. The feedback process was direct and to the point (The way I like it). He offered any service I needed to get the job done and was transparent with pricing. We turned out this video in about a month.

I haven't launched the commercial video yet, but the feedback I receive from viewers is positive and suggests a desirable response.

We haven’t started the marketing campaign, but we are pleased with the video they produced. It has been well received so far. We plan to use it on our website and in text. We will work with them again in the future.

The script could’ve been better regarding grammar and language. I was more involved in it than I expected to be. I thought they would have presented more elaborate scripts to me.

I received an email and interviewed them. They had a bunch of marketing videos and information. After that, I made a determination contract with them.

We started working together in February 2021, and the relationship is ongoing. We entered an agreement for website development.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’m still waiting for my exclusive rights for the video, so I haven’t shown or shared it with people. Nonetheless, the result was great, and I’m satisfied with it.

How did Prolific Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate through emails, phone, and text messages.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was pleased with the communication process. If I have any problem, my line of communication is key. They make sure that I’m being heard.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They tried to explain their process to me, but I was kind of disappointed with the voiceover. I thought a professional would be able to come up with something rather than have me doing all the revisions. Also, I was left out on some selections. However, they delivered what I asked them to — a video that mesmerizes the viewer into a wow factor.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be clear on your objective and what you want so you don’t have to go through many changes. Try to get the storyboard approved the way you want it. There’s no sense in spending money or going further until it’s approved, but if something changes after it’s been accepted, then there are subsequent changes. Also, if you want to embellish or change something, it’s more difficult to do so as you’ve moved further along, so speak up earlier in the creation process.

I’m the president of SWEAT IT OUT® COOL COMPRESSION®. We make compression garments to help people recover from muscle injuries.

What challenge were you trying to address with Prolific Studio?

Most people don’t stop to read the labels on their clothing. They listen to commercials or statements or posts or pictures and then make their decision. Further, young kids are growing up wearing clothes made by big brands that don’t care about their health; they only care about promoting their logo. We wanted to explain to people that our compression garments can prevent muscle injury and help them rehabilitate much quicker than they would without them.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Prolific Studio created an animated video for us. I explained to them what I was looking for — I wrote what I wanted the voiceover to be, and they created everything surrounded it. After two weeks, they showed me what they had, and I told them what to correct or how to correct things that I thought could be improved.

We cut the video down to 36 seconds, which included a slide at the end with information about how to purchase the product.

I saw an advertisement on the internet about animation, and I thought animation would communicate my products’ value well because people watch a lot of cartoons and animation.

The project ran from February–March 2021. We’re preparing to launch the video on social media.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The quality of the work was a ten, and the impact it will bring to me is an unknown factor. I like what Prolific Studio did, and the fact that I liked it has nothing to do with whether the public will understand it.

There are so many videos out there today, so I am looking for a 5% return on people watching the video.

How did Prolific Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Kamal was available every time I called. He sent me emails and text messages; his messages were personable, and he understood how busy I was. Monday’s are complicated days for me, as I’m managing customers for the first time since the weekend, and Kamal knew not to expect too much communication from me on Mondays.

In general, they made sure that I received everything I needed to review and provide feedback on.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Prolific Studio’s service, understanding, listening, and communication were great. In fact, their communication was better than that of everyone else I talked to. Communication causes 90% of issues, and Prolific Studio was perfect.

I’ll find out when we put the video on social media.
