I am the project manager at a state-owned financial institution headquartered in Moscow, Russia. Our company has more than 100,000+ employees located all over the Russian Federation. What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to run the application in production in Q4Y20 and we are almost done with it. TestFlight version is installed on all BoD devices and is actively used by them.

Overall project is very fast in development. We meet PROFSOFT team every 2 working days to keep the progress of the development. PROFSOFT team is responsible for frontend programming, backend programming, UX and support. UI mockups were provided by our internal team.

TestFlight version is installed on all BoD devices and is actively used by them.

We constantly rely on Telegram and Jira to track the tasks. It is very easy and effective

They provide very fast development and impressively implement new ideas.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Everything can be done faster. In my stance, PROFSOFT lacks internal QA testing

I'm an IT manager for logistics automation of FABERLIC company. Responsible for support and development of WMS, TMS and other IT services for logistics.

We've just developed new web-based WMS and successfully implemented it on two warehouses in Russia. In order to go further for roll-out on other warehouses it was necessary to prepare documentation: user's manual, technical description, etc...

The goal was to get system's documentation appropriate for further use as a knowledge source for system roll-out and maintenance.

I knew their commercial director. We both took a part in rafting every summer. He is very trustful person with strong interpersonal skills and qualities. So when he asked me about possibilities for any IT-task execution I had no doubts but gave it to them.

I divide documentation in to 5 parts: user's manual, warehouse administrator's (employees who set up WMS rules) manual, IT administrator's manual, step-by-step solution for system initial set up and simple warehouse business processes description maintained by WMS.

What was the team composition?

There were one analytic who perform technical writer role and one project manager from PROFSOFT side and developer with system architect from our side.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I get the result we accepted after 3 months of collaborative work. Actually, the timeline could be shorter but there were periods when we had lack of resources from our side so PROFSOFT team had to wait until our resources could be involved again.

They successfully managed to complete some parts of documentation completely by themselves and the result was good.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

As soon as teams were located in different cities 1000 km far from each other we managed to create Skype-chat where we discussed some organization issues, scheduled routine conference calls for project status, tasks and risks discussion.

Also analytic from Profsoft scheduled and preformed frequent Skype-interviews with developer and system architect.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Possibility to be autonomous so they handle some complicated parts of the project by themselves. And "getting thins done" approach.

They never asked to reduce project scope in order to finish earlier but patiently wait for our answers until documentation become complete and suitable for our business needs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

As I already mentioned above we could finish project earlier if our resources could dedicate more time for the project.

Finally, we could enlarge project scope adding system's functionality and architecture analyze by Profsoft colleagues solely but I found it doesn't worth it.

It uses a contact database to facilitate these connections. We’ve started to host forums nationwide to discuss veterinary and livestock issues. The platform has expanded to include materials—including photos, video lectures, and presentations by speakers—from these forums online.

Our platform has seen 1,231 user registrations and 223 online consultations. It also hosts over 2,000 photos from veterinary events. We're highly satisfied with PROFSOFT's work.

Customers contact the service center through the app by taking a photo of the issue or scanning the barcode of the equipment. An operator at the service center processes that information and sends an engineer to the customer’s location. Engineers also receive their set of daily tasks and visits through the application. Our management team monitors all activity through a single panel on the app.

Our project was completed in six months, and we transferred our clients to the mobile application service. Since then, we’ve received positive feedback and experienced reduced response time. We’ve been able to expand our company’s footprint with this development.
