With Procreator, we were able to launch a new and upgraded website after consolidating all of our company's websites under one main umbrella. 

The team was able to come up with a design that aligned with our brand goals and values. Procreator team was professional, quick to revert and flexible with our needs. They have a very organized way of working and were able to address all our comments in a timely manner.

• Partnering with the right design agency is a bit like dating; ProCreator were the perfect date as they shared our vision, Tthey brought something new and different to the table and were willing to work hard and commit themselves to our success.

Their ability to understand our needs in the very 1st week of engagement for a product that we had purely as a vision was very impressive, what they did beautifully was to bring that to life via a product design prototype that was a WOW factor not only to the founding team of Groov but that bought in delight to our customers and financial partners. I will have to commend to their perserverance to work diligently in a chaotic start up environment with 2 busy founders and still managing to deliver to specs.

• Their project management tool was used, there were some delays too at times but it  was discussed over and fixed. Developers are knowledgeble to cover up the minor delays.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Friendly and accepting environement, whether on call or messages.  Providing honest feedback and suggestions too, for improvement. Delays and issues if happened then accepting it. Defintely for our kind of social support app theirs is a big contribution to make it happen in a minimal budget. Can't be a better support then this.

Are there any areas for improvement or something ProCreator could have done differently?

Have shared the feedback with them overall they are a really good team. A suggestion to them to keep close collaboration with the team and daily updates of thier tasks pending and completion work.  Output is as we needed though a little delay, which was not harming our delivery, as we have kept the contingency period. I strongly recommend ProCreator for their work, both as a company and as a business prospect.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There were certain design and process recommendations from ProCreator aimed at reducing the problems we had in hand (For e.g., - High Bounce Rates, Low Average Session per duration, etc.). The recommendations were also classified on the basis on the severity of issues in terms of priortiy to be assigned to each of them. 

As soon as we started implementing their recommendations, we saw positive changes. For example, when we were able to reduce the page load time as suggested, we saw improvements in bounce rate.

Yes. The project milestones were clearly defined in the beginning only. We were always updated on each steps regularly.  And the timelines were met always, in spite of some additional requests made by us. They even accomodated our requests without any fuss which were not in the scope when we started this project.

I’m the founder of a blockchain-based company that empowers communities and brands to create unified loyalty programs. We enable customers to launch loyalty programs that are interoperable, integrated, and interconnected across multiple brands.

What challenge were you trying to address with ProCreator?
We hired ProCreator to design the UI/UX of our app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?
We started working with ProCreator by defining the product’s brand. Blockchain was still perceived as a complex technology, so we asked the team to design a UX with hardly any learning curve. End users should be able to interact with the product with ease. We used Figma for design communication. For this process, we had brainstorming sessions to understand who our end users were. We answered some questionnaires, and then the team developed design samples and wireframes.
Once we approved the wireframes on Figma, we received a better-designed version of the app. We gave our feedback, and ProCreator continued developing the system’s frontend. Later on, we used our in-house capabilities to develop the product. We used JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
What is the team composition?
We were working on a flexible model, so the team composition changed depending on how much we needed to speed up tasks. At one point, we worked with 6–7 teammates from ProCreator. Once we used our in-house developers, we shifted to only 2–3 resources from their side. We worked closely with Kanika (Head of Design) and Ashish (Former Head of Technology).
How did you come to work with ProCreator?
Our team found ProCreator through a referral. Their portfolio gave us confidence in the level of work they could do.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $70,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from May 2022–June 2023.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
With ProCreator’s help, we launched the first version of our app. In terms of absolute numbers, we gained close to 240,000 active users, and we’d been growing by around 15%–18% month over month.
Overall, ProCreator’s design quality was great. They understood our brand guidelines; our color schemes and other branding elements were reflected well on the product. Their design skills were superb, although their development skills were average.
How did ProCreator perform from a project management standpoint?
ProCreator was flexible in terms of meeting our deadlines. Whenever we had to meet strict deadlines, they were able to assign more resources to help us deliver everything on time. The product management worked closely with us, so any concerns around work quality were sorted out.
Kanika helped us with UI/UX design, and her experience working with a lot of user-facing apps helped us tackle the app use cases up front. Meanwhile, Ashish helped us with implementing the designs from Kanikas; he truly took care of the engineering aspects of the project.
To communicate, we had a Slack channel, which was dedicated to designing and engineering the product. We used it for quick comments. Every second Friday, they sent us an email update of the tasks completed during a particular week. They also reported on any progress blockers and their tasks for the upcoming week.
What did you find most impressive about them?
There were months when they had extremely quick turnaround times. They were able to change according to our demands and went above and beyond our initial contract.
Are there any areas they could improve?
ProCreator could improve their technical side in terms of resources and quality of work. For context, we had to redo many things that their junior and mid-level developers did.

We wanted to build a product for money deposits, and despite having an in-house UX researcher who was able to help us identify the consumer pinpoints and challenges, we didn’t have the resources to build the visual designs and customer journey of the product.

Mahindra Finance is helping us with the UI/UX design of our platform, putting everything together, making interaction designs, and creating an interface for our development team based on the user research we already have. To jumpstart the process, we’ve provided them with our brand guidelines, rough wireframes, and other research results of our in-house team so they can build a lo-fi mock-up in Figma on top of what we’ve given them and then bring everything to life with the right color schemes and brand elements.

ProCreator has been able to build a great user journey for our platform and reduce the time of our deposit application from 20 minutes to 6–9, which has positively impacted our system.
How did ProCreator perform from a project management standpoint?
We’ve never had a challenge with ProCreator in terms of deadline delays or going over budget. Overall, the team has resonated with our timeline requests and even put in more resources to ensure that they’re meeting our timeframes.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
ProCreator’s design director has been very proactive in brainstorming sessions to assess what’s effective and what’s not about what we’re doing.
What did you find most impressive about them?
My relationship with ProCreator has been very cordial in terms of being able to get on a call with them. The team is very supportive and available for me anytime we need to change something.

I don’t think there’s anything they can improve on.

ProCreator’s contribution has been immense, and we’ve had extremely positive feedback about their work. They have contributed product ideas that have been selected for different business ideas as well. 

How did ProCreator perform from a project management standpoint?

Everything is delivered on time; we use Microsoft Planner to keep track of projects. We also have weekly stand-ups where we define priorities and decide what needs to be completed. They consistently keep us updated, and if they have any questions, they post them so we can quickly answer them. 

We get a weekly report about everything that has been completed and what they’re working on, so the process is very organized. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

We’d like to shout out Kanika (Head of Design); she takes care of all of our design tasks on both the research and strategy side. She has also helped us structure presentations to showcase ideas in a clear way. She assists us with research activities, taking user interviews, and acts as a moderator or observer. 

We’d also like to shout out Ankit (Associate Head of Design); he has been a huge help in putting together our design system. His assistance has helped us get through our daily tasks faster. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We have been impressed with their turnaround time and the way they have been able to create quality prototypes. All of our product managers have been very happy to work with the ProCreator team. ProCreator goes above and beyond to deliver a quality product. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

We wish that our junior designers were being guided by senior developers a bit more so that everything was more consistent. Sometimes, we get something back right away that we’re happy with, and other times, it takes 2–3 iterations, and we wish we could get that number down. However, we’ve given this feedback to ProCreator already.

We recommend their company because they’re committed and will always add value to the project. They will bring fresh ideas, and when they take on a project, they will follow through.
