We wanted to migrate our website from Magento to Shopify and as a long term customer, I was sure they can helps us.

We've working with this company since 2017 since we used Magento. They helped us with everything we need from SEO to custom development. Even when we asking questions that is not related to their field, they would do their research advise us

• Stage 1 - Set up development server and updated exactly the same data as on the production server. Change data structure on a new development server to reflect our new data structure.
• Stage 2 Finish with preparing data on development server and proceed with product migration to shopify.
• Stage 3 Migrate Orders, Customers, Gift Cards, Reward Points, Blog (posts, categories ..), Reviews, Subscribers, etc. Any new records created from February - March this year.
• Stage 4 URL redirects for the products and categories.
• Stage 5 Migrate new blog posts and other data to Shopify. Create a script to update old URLs in blog post content and replace them with a new URL format generated during the previous URL Redirects Stage.
• Stage 6 Test & Go Live - Test website thoroughly before DNS is switched to Shopify.
• Stage 7 Run 2nd delta migration to cover the amount of time between the previous delta migration and going live.
• Stage 8 Finalizing the delta migration.

The Vendor's team and I communicated with a dedicated IT specialist from planning to just before the migration stage, and their CEO helped to finalize this project for last 2 months.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Migrated Products, Orders, Customers, Gift Cards, Reward Points, Blog, Reviews, Subscribers, etc. Specially, our products were designed 3 level on Magento and there were lots of data integrity issues, however they successfully updated as we requested and migrated to Shopify standard.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had limited man power and that caused our project to delay but they outlined each stage and led us to right direction. We also had conference call periodically to discus general questions and detailed progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As a long term customer, we were offered many discounts, and they shared files and reports over online cloud systems, saving us a lot of time.  Also they always provided detail plans and reviewed reports for us to easy understanding.

Nope.

The problems we had as well as those that arose and were discovered in the process of work were described in the ticket system provided to us. The project manager responded to the respective tickets and routed issues to the appropriate developer in a timely manner depending on the problem case.

Communication was only with the project manager. The responsibility for communication with the relevant specialists and developers working on our project was entirely her.

As a result of our joint work, the performance and speed of our online store was improved.

At the time of our joint work, Plumrocket's ticketing system was used. The project management tool provided was convenient and communication with the project manager was quick and easy.

We were extremely pleased with Plumrocket's understanding and adequate response. In this particular case, our project manager Yuliana showed a very well organized, fast and adequate approach.
