Plan Left completely re-designed our Website. They were able to come up with a complete newly re-designed website from scratch as our previous website was 13+ years old. In addition to doing the website they helped up with the creative side for our photos and videos used on the website. SEO was not something we were familiar in the past however they helped explain to us and get our company moved up the list for google, etc.

1. cloned the site over a vanilla WordPress dev site, got an error in the cloning process. Checked the dev site out and enabled WordPress debug mode and the issue was the revolution slider plugin which is an unused plugin in prod and it was causing problems because of a bug.
2. Once the dev site was up after disabling that plugin by renaming the plugin folder, tried to replicate the mentioned errors in the ticket by modifying some posts pages, and found out that when we edited those posts or pages the banner header disappeared or a gray block overlayed it.
3. After debugging this using the browser console, no error was found, but by comparing the source HTML with prod there were some small differences found between prod and dev.
4. Checked the theme folder that was a child theme of the onepress theme, and the theme basically is made by CSS and javascript, no sass or scss were found in that folder.
5. It turned out the banner header had a class called .page-banner-2 which had conflicts with the new HTML code generated by genesis and kadence blocks, for some reason when the pages or posts were saved, some div tags got merged with other div tags and that was causing the conflict with the .page-banner-2 class because that class applied style changes to child divs and when those child divs disappeared, the banner got buggy.
6. Added a provisional fix that works in the CSS code of the styles.css file:

Plan Left expertly implemented a new website design project that involved a mammoth amount of content migration. The task included a wordpress site designed by another company and implementing it on a new server PL set up and managed. There was several site issues that had to be resolved as well as implementing new security measures.

Then the project moved to the migration phase which was monumental in scope all the while ensuring the site integrity and long term stability of the site for future upgrades. We were very happy with the end result as well as the ongoing support.
