As we took on external software development projects, we needed help with developing a web application for one of our clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

The engagement started with a discovery phase, during which we defined the scope of work in detail, and Pixcile Technology analyzed it. From there, they proceeded with the work, developing a web portal from scratch. Their team used ESP, C#, and Bootstrap for development.

The platform serves as a financial portal, where users can review their policies and what is covered, among other things.

We mainly worked directly with one person from their side.

We found Pixcile Technology on a freelance marketplace. They were a suitable partner for our project based on their portfolio.

Our latest project with them cost about $10,000. They helped us complete three different projects, and the total for that was around $20,000.

We worked together from March 2021–September 2022.

Our client gave Pixcile Technology an above-average rating because it took them about a year and a half to complete the project. Also, their team actually started the development process based on their own understanding. As a result, we had to make quite a number of changes along the way.

Pixcile Technology needs to work on lessening the time it takes them to finish a project. They can deliver assigned projects, but they need to improve their communication.

Make sure to have a common agreement on the project deadline right from the start.
