Position: Steve Bowen: I am the managing director and founder of Strandek.

Company: Established in 1976, Strandek provide a range of waterproofing and surface protection services. We work for small domestic clients and industrial contractors.

Flat Roofing: experts in glass fibre and single-ply flat roofing systems. Our work is accompanied by a range of comprehensive guarantees of up to 25 years. Resin

Flooring: Strandek offers a range of resin flooring services, from surface preparation through to epoxy resin flooring.

Industrial Linings & Coatings: our main expertise centres on GRP (glass fibre) linings to prevent, and repair leaks and degradation.

Pitched Roofing: our team are also experienced in all areas of pitched roofing, from slate and tile work through to gutter cleaning and maintenance.'

For what projects/services did your company hire Pinnacle Internet Marketing?

Paid ads, web development, front and back end programming, website analysis, search engine optimisation, technical and strategic marketing guidance, advise and leadership.

What were your goals for this project?

To increase our position in google's search engine rankings and to increase our overall online presence. We also wanted to learn more and educate ourselves in online marketing.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor?

We found them online - I spoke to the technical director, Richard David and his co-founder, Howard visited our site for a discussion and pitch. We were very happy with their proposals and signed a contract shortly after.

We took a multi-strategy approach where Pinnacle redesigned our website to better rank in google's algorithms. This meant we were able to create a variety of high-quality, written, visual and video content to support and promote our work.

What was the team composition?

From Strandek, this was me, other personnel within the company and several team members from Pinnacle Marketing.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are top-ranked in a number of key search terms relating to our business. We have increased our website traffic, leads and revenue significantly since we started working with Pinnacle.

In the month of January 2018, when we started working with Pinnacle, our traffic was averaging 165 visitors per month. As of July 2019, it is averaging 560 visitors per month.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective - we used multiple channels, from email to telephone to communicate, plan and execute our efforts.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their integrity, work ethic, strategic advice, and ability to take on new, complex tasks and complete them in a short period of time. We are also impressed by their knowledge and understanding, namely the ability to foresee problems and opportunities before they occur.

I have a fairly strong understanding of SEO but I believe that Richard, Howard, Jacob and the team provide invaluable advice that not only helps us grow but also avoid pitfalls.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Compared to many other marketing companies, I think there's very little they need to improve on. We're very happy with their input and advice.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

From the reports, we can tell our site is performing better. We appear higher in Google rankings, depending on the keyword. Pinnacle Internet Marketing successfully accomplished our goals.

We receive monthly reports from their team on the success of their efforts. They keep in contact fairly well and I always know what they’re doing for the project. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Whenever I need anything, they’re easily accessible and on top of it. We can stay in contact with them and if something has to be fixed, they’re available. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Although we’d like for the rankings to happen quicker, there’s nothing I can think of for them to improve on.

Use your initial communication with them to go over keyword research and discover exactly what you’re looking for. If they know your goals and what rankings you want, they’ll do better.

Bill Opticians is a small group of seven independent family owned opticians based in South and East Devon. I work as a Business Development Manager.

Pinnacle was originally hired to create, manage, and host our website, however, this has since been increased to include SEO and social media management and development.

Our goals were to 1. Provide better information for patients 2. Be within the top two opticians within each town in which we have a practice 3. Increase our online standing 4. Increase our social media presence to the point where it became useful to the business.

Pinnacle designed and built and now manage and maintain our website. They also post on and manage our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. To ensure the highest possible rating on Google and Bing, they do SEO for each of our seven practices. Finally, they provide posts for Google and support our hosted email.

We work closely with specialists at Pinnacle in each area 1. Business Developer and SEO Analyst 2. Digital Marketing Executive 3. Social Media Executive 4. Technical Manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

1. We've had effective email and website support since the project started, with changes or amendments made very quickly. 2. Our social media presence has quadrupled since Pinnacle took over and we have a much higher level of engagement 3. 6 out of 7 of our practices are ranked number one on Google and Bing almost every day, and the 7th is ranked in the top three (there is significant and larger competition in this particular area).

The team at Pinnacle is very friendly and effective. Changes are handled quickly and constructive feedback is provided if they don't think our idea is entirely sound. Any problems are quickly and easily resolved.

The most impressive thing about Pinnacle is their grasp and expertise of the online market place wrapped up in a very customer friendly and responsive team

Are there any areas for improvement?

Any areas that we feel have not been entirely met have always been very quickly resolved, and I can't really fault them. We have been very happy with their services.

Pinnacle Internet Marketing assessed our website, making alterations to make sure it was fully compliant with searchability. There was too much text on our front page, so they thinned that out. They identified what keywords we were missing, placing some on the updated webpage. A few areas on our map weren’t correctly selected in areas we’re based in. They also figured out that problem, making the site more accessible for customers.
