Sports Movement is a multi-sport organization based out of Austin, Texas. Our major services include running Cricket and Soccer coaching programs and leagues for youth and adults. As a multi-sport enterprise, our objective is to spread the awareness and importance of Sport to the community in different ways, be it via youth sport programs, adult sport education, recreational and competitive sport leagues, and periodical sport blogs.

We hired Parrot Digital Marketing's services for Web design and development, Social media marketing, SEO, Social media ads and our entire digital Marketing Strategy.

What were your goals for this project?

A good website that would portray our values and style, a results-oriented and revenue generating social media strategy and very good SEO ratings to be displayed on the first page of Google for our products and services.

We started off with a preliminary meeting to discuss our objectives, and how soon we wanted things to be set up. The first meeting itself felt very comfortable. It was a very open and honest discussion, and it did not feel like Caleb was selling his services to me. It was more of an open discussion and that was very comforting. Their work was amazing and the products they delivered to us was outstanding. More than just fulfilling their work, Caleb and his team always came forward with ideas on how we could do better and get even greater results. He went above and beyond to suggest different ideas and initiatives that I wouldn't have thought about otherwise. And these were very useful to me and my company. We still continue to work together and I have not looked any other way or had even the slightest thought of working with any another marketing agency. I vouch for his and his team's services and would be ready to speak with anyone who would like more information in this regard.

We worked with Caleb most of the times. His team of designers and marketers would create content for our social media pages etc, but all our communication was with Caleb.

First page of google for our services in roughly 3 months - which is an awesome result. Increased website traffic Social media ads - generating consistent revenue through new leads and customers email marketing - increasing subscribers and click-rates

It was very easy and fast. There were nod plays whatsoever in email responses or returning phone calls for that matter.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their on-time results delivery, their professionalism and mainly the extra step they take in providing ideas and suggestions takes things to the next level.

None that I can think of. i have been extremely happy with their work.

What challenge were you trying to address with Parrot Digital Marketing?

I was creating a Wix site and found myself stumbling on a bunch of difficulties with basic programming of the site’s functionalities. I don’t have any experience in web development, so I needed the help of Parrot Digital Marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Caleb (Owner) has been helping me develop my platform that’s hosted through Wix. I’m currently working on finalizing my fitness plans that customers can purchase. The deliverables were super basic because I already had a good amount of my website done.

Caleb is giving me basic advice on how I need to set up and execute certain functionalities. I’ve been going to someone else to get my photo and video content. Caleb has helped me with my logo and color scheme as well as a payment tool.

Since the site’s been done, he’s also helping me with marketing strategy. This encompasses my Facebook and other social media accounts. Caleb provides assistant with my paid ads.

I only work with Caleb.

A family friend referred me to Caleb because they also had their website created by Parrot Digital Marketing. I gave them a call, and we linked up.

I’ve spent $500. He’s given me a great discount because I’m a family friend and this was his first time working with Wix. He wanted to use this experience as a way to benefit him in the future.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in April 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Parrot Digital Marketing’s help was been invaluable. At first, my website’s colors were very catering to a male audience. They went ahead and changed the colors so it’s brighter and more attractive to females. The layout is exactly how I want it, especially in its mobile-friendly format because that’s what the majority of my clientele will be looking at the website on.

How did Parrot Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is good. We communicate every other day and Caleb’s great about reaching out to me. I was taken back because I’ve never done something like this before and was initially trying to handle everything on my own.

They’ve gone above and beyond my expectations with the amount of heavy communicating and holding me accountable for things. Caleb has been very extensive in the way he explains things and answers my questions. It’s been very helpful for someone who’s new to all this.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their timeliness is incredible, they’re just on it. I get in my own head because this is my own thing I’m starting. They believe in me a little bit more than I believe in myself. Just having their positive attitude has been so helpful, I need a push like that. It’s crazy because I didn’t think I’d get that out of something like this.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything. I’ve been blown away.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to have a game plan because they’re 10 steps ahead of you. Know what you want so you don’t feel overwhelmed. Take things one step at a time and do it.

I founded an organization for the students at my school in order to interact with the community around education about and interest in genetics.

What challenge were you trying to address with Parrot Digital Marketing?

As a member of the science community, I didn’t know anything about establishing a digital presence for my organization and needed someone to help give us a more professional look online.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They provided web design consulting for our organization from the ground up. I handled the actual design and development of our site, but they gave me a lot of valuable insight in terms of features and layouts that I could use to improve the overall feel of the pages.

They also handled logo design based on a loose concept of what I wanted, coming back with 5–6 possible versions for me to consider in a really quick turnaround. One of them in particular I thought was a really great looking logo, so we went with that.

My main point of contact was Caleb (Owner), and he was the only person that I really talked to throughout the work.

I had heard about them originally through a friend at my college and decided to reach out to them just to get some input. They offered a lot of perspective on the issue as well as some services that they would be beneficial, to which I agreed.

The whole project only took about a week in April 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The results of their work have been excellent so far. I really liked the logo that they gave to us, and the font choice and color schemes of the website are all much better for the advice that they were able to provide to me while I was developing it. Everybody within our organization who’s seen it has been really impressed with how it looks and operates.

How did Parrot Digital Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

The process really could not have been any smoother. It was somewhat of a simple project for a company like them, so it might be a little hard for me to provide a lot of detail, but the engagement was just about perfect. Caleb was very professional, responded almost immediately, and was very clear both about what he needed from me and what he thought I should do in every situation.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I think the quality of the result is truly unique, especially given how fast they were able to turn it around for me. I wasn’t expecting so many different options for the logo, and they presented them in almost a day or two. Not only were they all fantastic, but there was significant diversity among them as well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I really can’t think of anything they could have done differently.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Good advice for anybody doing this kind of project would be to have a clear idea of what you’re hoping to get out of the engagement. I could see the situation becoming a little more drawn out and complicated if they weren’t sure exactly what they were expected to provide.

I found Parrot on Google and saw their great reviews, I have them a call and they picked up right away and we’re eager to get to work. They communicated well with me and got me an estimate, time frame, and design services that very same day.

The website was somewhat straightforward in that we will mainly use it as our company display, so content was more important than function. I received several iterations of the site and was asked for commenting.
