We contacted Paramedium based on a referral from a business partner that had previously worked with this firm. The decision was easy once we met their team!

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I'm the co-founder of The Street Pulse, a market research startup company. We provide a service to people who want to create surveys on market research with a database of survey respondents who will be compensated for participating. We’re based in Lebanon, but we target many countries in the Middle East and North Africa.

What challenge were you trying to address with Paramedium Group?

We needed support to finalize the market research and understand the market appetite for such a service.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Paramedium Group has helped us create the pitch deck we use for the various venture capitals we try to partner with. They’ve advised and coached us on what steps to take and how to direct our offering.

Additionally, they prepared many financials we used in the business plan to make the feasibility studies. To do so, they collected data, materials, and documents from us. Then, they created an idea about where we stood at that point. We’ve implemented their suggestions and considered them for our final product.

What is the team composition?

We have two dedicated resources. One is a partner, and the other is a manager of their management consulting arm.

A common friend referred them to us.

We’ve spent around $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started the engagement around November 2019, and it's still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our initial business model drastically changed after we talked to Paramedium Group. They gave us many ideas on enhancing it and the revenue generation stream. Moreover, we participated in an accelerator program using all the material they provided and won first place. We also got the first seed round investment, which was based on all the material they shared, including the pitch deck, business plan, and market research they did.

How did Paramedium Group perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent. We were short on time, and they were able to meet the deadline on our tight schedule. Also, we didn’t exceed our budget.

They use their own project management tool and different Google applications. We also use various communication channels, including WhatsApp, phone calls, texts, and emails.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their strong understanding of our needs and expertise are outstanding. Thanks to that combination, their deliverables have exceeded our expectations.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, the whole process is very smooth.

I am the managing director of Clotech Telecommunications Limited a company registered in Cyprus and offering various cloud telecommunication, cloud solutions and digital transformation services to clients internationally and with special focus on MENA region.

Paramedium scope included market research and sales/business development. Their role was to conduct secondary research and in depth interviews with clients to further understand their needs that relate to our service offering. Paramedium was also responsible for identifying business leads, establishing preliminary contact and following up on the lead until the contract is finalized.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

I have previously worked with Bassel as he has served a business consultant for one of the companies i was employed by. He has always provided value adding solutions in a professional manner and accordingly he was always reliable consultant.

The project was on a retainer basis and the services have been done in direct coordination and follow up with my self. The initial phase of the project included secondary research and based on the noted findings we moved to phase 2 in which Paramedium started working on sales management. They used to provide me with weekly updated on progress.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

As the project is still on going and relates to our sales i can not disclose actual figures but what i can say is the following: 1- Paramedium helped us finalize a deal with one of the leading "web" based call centers in Jordan. A client with remarkable volume and serving clients in GCC. 2- Paramedium helped us sell our international sms marketing services to one of the Lebanese sms marketing agencies that has an accumulated volume of more than 100 million sms.

They're professional, efficient, and effective. Add to all of this, Paramedium team is always committed and available at all times to address clients inquiries and address any relevant urgent matters.

I am the business development manager for Multivision. We are a group of consultants that focus on small businesses in Lebanon.

We were launching Multivision in Lebanon and needed help to understand the Lebanese market and consumer behavior, especially for small businesses. Also, we needed some advice on our business plan and revenue model.

We google searched for market research and consulting companies in Beirut, Lebanon and came across several companies. Paramedium offered the best price-to-value proposal.

2. Pilot study consisting of 10 interviews with subject matter experts to validate the questionnaire.
3. Advising on how to improve the business plan and approach potential investors.

Mr. Bassel was leading the project, we were also communicating with Dr. Adel for data analysis and research findings.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The market research findings were crucial for our decision-making process, especially that the results showed good potential to target small businesses in Lebanon. Which we are experiencing now with our business development strategies.

The workflow was smooth, Bassel is a good project manager and kept his team respecting all deadlines agreed on in the proposal.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Great value for price. Timely deliverables. Professional team. Well educated (most of them are PhD holders)

Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?

Maybe to respect more working hours. Paramedium team seems to work 24/7. Sometimes we used to be contacted during the evenings.
