I’m the Digital Lead & Head of Digital Platforms at Penta Hospitals International a. s.. We deliver top-tier medical care through a growing network of hospitals and clinics across Slovakia, Czechia, and Poland.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Panaxeo to accomplish for your digital platforms at Penta Hospitals International?

We hired Panaxeo to strengthen our delivery capacity and accelerate development of the Family Zone platform. The goal was to deliver both frontend and backend components, integrate smoothly with our internal team, and ensure high-quality, reliable delivery within agreed timelines.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Panaxeo was involved end-to-end throughout the full project lifecycle. They were embedded directly into the delivery team and delivered both frontend and backend development of an app to connect families with their loved ones living with Alzheimer’s disease, including implementation, integrations, and ongoing improvements.

We work with 3-5 teammates from Panaxeo.

How did you come to work with Panaxeo?

Panaxeo was recommended to us by several of their former clients from the banking industry, which led us to initiate the collaboration.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in June 2024, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The project was delivered successfully despite multiple integration challenges with third-party systems. We managed to deliver the MVP on time, complete the full rollout, and continue delivering additional planned releases.

Communication was clear, progress was transparent, and delivery was predictable. They proactively raised risks early and helped keep the project on track.

Most impressive was their seniority and problem-solving ability — they consistently handled complex challenges with confidence and ownership. They also integrated seamlessly with our internal team and collaborated as a true delivery partner.

365.bank is digital bank providing digital banking services in the Slovak Market. It is the result of series of digital banking transformations of the traditional Post Bank Slovakia. My position in the bank is Chief Enterprise Architect.

For what projects/services did your company hire Panaxeo, and what were your goals?

Program HORIZON is the 3rd phase of ongoing bank's digital transformation. It implements new digital banking architecture (new digital banking platform) that delivers strategic goals, addresses market trends and solve our long term shortcomings. It includes full stack digital bank, moved into cloud and integration with specific on-premise and 3rd party services.

HORIZON program hit all the bank capabilities - products & services, sales, marketing, compliance, security, risk management, finance, IT and others - and on all the levels - business, applications, data and technology. Panaxeo was hired to help us to establish modern development processes and adopt best development practices for cloud platform development.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We chose Panaxeo based on their expertise with banking and fintech software solutions. We needed a reliable partner versed in AWS and knowledgeable in the best practices present in the field – to be able to adapt and implement them ourselves.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

HORIZON is a large transformation project which has been going on for several years already. The stage during which Panaxeo joined our forces mainly focuses on building custom apps and services which would serve as glue between our on-site and cloud infrastructure. The goal of this stage is to gradually move to the cloud without our users noticing any hiccups.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

On the regular, we worked with an architect and two engineers who formed their own unit which quickly integrated into our core teams.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The program itself is still ongoing, but we value Panaxeo’s input on our security systems. They went above and beyond the call of duty, opting to create our own custom security system and multi-step authorization process.

Smooth, seamless and self-managed. Panaxeo team provided high quality service, always on time and beyond requested quality.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The Panaxeo team has surprised us by going above and beyond what was expected, even designing and implementing their own custom safety procedures. Thanks to their experience and know-how, we are able to set up our own approach going forward, based on what they have been able to bring to the table.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The project itself is still ongoing and we hope that the team keeps the high level of professionalism they are at.
