Palm Infotech helped us design and develop our mobile app. We provided the team with some initial materials, and they built on top of those. Our team worked alongside them. Palm Infotech designed some of the core navigation screens and the screens where the video processing was done. The team also built the app's payment-related features. Palm Infotech used React Native for iOS and Android development.

We measured success based on whether Palm Infotech could deliver the app's features, how much they could build on their own, and whether they delivered on time. We reached out to our customers, and they liked the app. 

How did Palm Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

We worked on an hourly basis. Palm Infotech was very helpful and prompt in addressing and fixing bugs. We used Trello for project management and communicated through Google Meet, Slack, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We liked that Palm Infotech was hardworking and pragmatic. They were good people to work with. The architect was up to the mark and followed up. He was available anytime, even at night.

It would be great if Palm Infotech introduced more project management into their system. Overall, we had a good experience, and the team should continue doing what they do.

Have them on Slack so you can easily coordinate and figure out issues. Even though there’s a time gap, you can coordinate pretty well.

They did a great job from a project management standpoint. Any task that we needed was executed in an organized manner. This involved uploading the task, completing testing in all scenarios, and doing a UI test. If it passed, it meant it had multiple protections. If it didn’t, it meant we had to send it back to the team so they could analyze and fix the issues.

We were impressed with the level of support that Palm Infotech provided. They stayed accessible 24/7 and responded to our needs even during weekends. They also had a good understanding of the demands and challenges of the market.

We had a demo and description of the app, it’s goal and purposes. I handed over the code and gave access to Github and all necessary webtools for developing and publishing the app. Sent over a list of bugfixes and new features that needed to be done. Palm tech developer fixed all of them. Additional bugfixes and changes were discovered after the first delivery which palm tech fixed them all too. Now we need to finalize and publish the app on app store and google play.

So far I am satisfied with the way we communicate and collaborate with palm tech. They are very responsive and easy to communicate with. The app is not finalized yet so I can not say anything about the outcome.

We needed someone to develop our platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Palm Infotech designed and developed our marketplace platform application for iOS and Android. First, we gave them the requirements, and they gave us a couple of suggestions. The first milestone was the design and the login feature. On the customer side, they designed how to manage the dashboard, how the customer views the kitchens, and the order placement logic. On the kitchen side, they designed how users manage their orders and set up their profiles. 

The team has also built an admin panel where we can approve kitchens and track how many customers and users we have on the app. Palm Infotech provides us with support and updates on the application. Currently, the team is helping with the website.

We interact with three teammates from Palm Infotech, and they have a team under them.

We started working together in July 2021, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Palm Infotech’s quality of work is very satisfactory. The app is live, and our ratings on the App Store and the Google Play Store are 4.8 and 4.9, respectively. We have more than 1,200 users on the app who have had no trouble with usability. Of our user base, 20% of users are from the US, 20% are from India, and 10% are from Canada.

The team delivers their goals on the deadlines we set for them, which we agreed to at the start of the project. If we need tweaks, they expedite those requests for us and try to do it before launching. They’re also very flexible. Overall, Palm Infotech does what they’re supposed to and what we ask them to do.

How did Palm Infotech perform from a project management standpoint?

Initially, we divided the entire project into six different milestones with specific deadlines. We keep track of the project’s progress using an Excel file. Additionally, the team is easy to communicate with.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re creative thinkers and find solutions that fit our requirements, which I find outstanding. Overall, Palm Infotech’s work is of high quality.

No, we’re very satisfied with their services.

I’m the head of product for a healthcare software company. We’re developing an app that lets patients digitally queue for a doctor’s appointment without physically waiting in a room.

This app also features an appointment function where you can book and match available doctors within the patients' vicinity.

Palm Infotech is helping us develop our healthcare ticketing app, mainly focusing on UI/UX design. The team is implementing various functionalities to optimize the operation of the system, such as establishing a seamless connection between the front- and backend.
