We were creating a SaaS application for dentists. As a Ruby on Rails company, we created the whole API.

For what projects/services did your company hire Pagepro?

We had idea about all business processes that have to be handled by our application, we knew all edge-cases and whole data structure. But we also needed UX and UI to be the best on the market. That is why we hired Pagepro.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to have an application that will be really handy and each user will have no problems with understanding all of the features since business logic was quite complex.

How did you select this vendor?

Since they are main supporter of JS and React community in Białystok, we knew that they have a lot of specialist in the area of the frontend. We saw their presentations, we spoke with their developers, so there were no questions who should be select.

After we described them all business processes and domain related problems, they designed UX and UI, and then they implemented all views using most modern solutions in React.js

What was the team composition?

At the beginning of designing process, there was 2 UX designers and 1 UI&Graphic designer. During that process there was also 1 front-end developer who helped to chose between some solutions when we had to speak about estimations of given solution - I think we spared a lot of money thanks to that. After wireframes and mockups were ready, there were 3 front-end developers (2 seniors and 1 junior who was cheaper but could easily handle easier tasks).

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This project not only helped us to have one of the applications that we are most proud of, but Pagepro also shared a lot of knowledge about React solutions and approach to our developers who are also interested in frontend development.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management was handled on our side, and Pagepro team fit in into our process immediately even though our processes were slightly different than those that they got used to. I'm still impressed with how flexible they are and how much understanding of our approaches they had.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

How they like to share their knowledge, and how open-minded they are.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There is very little that they can improve. I would like to write that next project that we would like to create with them could be written in GraphQL - but so far as I know, most of their team is already familiar with this API language, so only improvement would bo to change "most of their team" to "their whole team".

We provided a comprehensive technical specification and corresponding design to Pagepro. They took the lead from there and broke the project into sprints to deliver the front/backends, essentially transforming our spec and design into a high-quality website.

The team consisted of two front-end developers, a back-end developer, a QA tester, and a team leader/project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This would have to be one of the smoothest projects I have been involved in. Pagepro has an exceptionally disciplined and highly skilled team. They executed our project in a very short timeframe and delivered an outstanding product on time and on budget.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Right from the start, Pagepro leveraged excellent project management tools and demonstrated a clear and concise communication style, ensuring that everyone knew what had to be done and when. At no point did this partnership ever feel like us vs. them; it felt like the client/vendor were a unified team with a unified goal - in my experience, this is rare when working with vendors on fixed-priced projects.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

It's hard to narrow this down, as the entire project experience was a joy, but the main thing that stood out to me were Pagepro's discipline and commitment to producing a clean, lightweight and high-quality product. Further, their coding style, framework, and methodology demonstrate a seasoned understanding of front-end technologies. Beyond that, it was incredible to witness a team working so effortlessly and efficiently together. They were highly committed to QA. Everybody hates testing, but these guys did a really thorough job, and obviously took enormous pride in and ownership of the stuff they built. 

Are there any areas for improvement?

Its hard to improve on excellence, and Pagepro is a high-class organization. The only fault I can find - and its not a fault of theirs, more of the circumstances - but Redfox and Pagepro are in very different timezones, so it meant that Pagepro began their work day as I should have ended mine. In order to keep things moving, I worked late in the evenings. Like I said, this is not a fault of Pagepro's, but I'd love to see a Pagepro studio open up down here in Australia!

The initial goal was to create a simple and well-designed minimally viable product (MVP). We wanted to make it easy for financial advisors to upload their contacts, set up a newsletter, and append their records with data.

After we provided feature requirements and Photoshop designs, Pagepro took our input and developed a working application. They completed the MVP within the first six months of our engagement. Since then, we’ve upgraded the product with new features in order to make it more flexible for our users. For example, we created a mobile version that has allowed us to expand our user base.

We worked directly with several frontend developers. Depending on the amount of work, we had 1–3 full-time developers working on the project at any given time. In addition, other developers worked on the project part-time.

Our users are delighted with the MVP. In the last 12 months, we have increased our users by more than 100%.

How effective was the project management?

The project management was very effective. We used a ticketing system to keep track of the project. Since we're based in the U.S. and they're based in Poland, we had daily stand-up meetings via Skype and online chat to answer quick questions.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They had terrific developers who were thoughtful about building the application. When we reviewed the specifications, they’d give us feedback on the approach and tell us how we could improve it. They did a great job of anticipating changes we might need to make in the future—they built the system in such a way that it would be easy to implement those changes.

Regular communication allowed us to develop the application efficiently.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Pagepro developed our entire website using Sanity and set up all integrations. The team also developed a highly customizable backend for the administrator and content team on the website. Pagepro created the UX/UI vision with clear user flows and an interactive frontend. The team handled backlog and project structure preparation, environment selection and setup, technical project setup, Sanity configuration, Sanity schema development, Next.js development, page builder support with a predefined list of sections/blocks, and integrations (GA/GTM/CRM).

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Pagepro’s new website delivered measurable improvements across multiple areas. Speed was dramatically improved, with a 60% improvement in load times compared to the previous site. The new site’s speeds now sit at 1.3 seconds. We also saw better Core Web Vitals scores, with a performance grade above 84%, improved technical SEO metrics, and increased conversion rates. The modern, intuitive design has enhanced the user experience significantly.From an operational standpoint, our content team can now edit and maintain the website independently without developer support, which has reduced our time-to-publish dramatically. The site is also well-optimized for search engine crawlers and AI indexing. Another major aspect was the delivery turnaround time, which supported our business objective.

How did Pagepro perform from a project management standpoint?

Pagepro was managed by a highly skilled project manager who was our main point of contact. However, we had direct access to the whole team whenever needed. We held weekly meetings and tracked everything in ClickUp with daily updates, so progress was always visible.Communication was frequent and transparent; we always knew exactly where we stood. The team was very responsive, especially when we needed help with technical infrastructure setup or CMS questions. As we approached the release date, their reaction time was excellent. Any issues were addressed quickly to ensure we launched on schedule.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Pagepro’s combination of technical expertise and practical experience was impressive. They specialized in Next.js, Sanity, and Vercel and had done many re-platforming projects before ours. This meant they already knew the pitfalls to avoid and best practices to follow, especially around content architecture in Sanity and performance optimization. We weren’t their learning experience; we benefited from everything they’d already mastered.

Overall, it was a solid experience. They delivered the expected outcome.
