The final product exceeded our expectations in terms of quality. The design was modern, user-friendly, and truly reflected our brand identity. In particular, the visual aesthetics and overall usability were very impressive.

The project management could have been better. There were some delays in the delivery timelines, and at times, communication issues arose from both sides, which affected the overall coordination. However, despite these challenges, the team managed to complete the work and we did not face any major problems in the end.

Based on our initial functionality requirements we tasked them to design and build a fully functional mobile app that would allow users to capture images from the marine environment in the Caribbean. Images could include various species of marine life, shorebased flora and fauna, as well as corals and marine mammals. The image would be geo-located and displayed on a regional map showing where various marine sightings had been captured, filtered by species. All images are to be curated to ensure compliance to user terms and conditions of use, and then published on the app. Other users could then like or comment on each posting.

Key Deliverables:

1:  App to work on both iOS and Android platforms

2: Easy to use across a broad base of demographic users: youth to seniors

3: Comprehensive backend to allow administrators to curate and have control over users and content.

4: Attractive graphic design using current typical functionality and navigation.

Project was delivered ontime and onbudget, even though there was some minor scope creep as a result of their input and favourable suggestions. They fully understood our mission and constantly suggested improvements or additions to our original functionality objectives.

Project management was active and involved all along the development journey. Very responsive and knowledgeable input when needed.

They collectively 'got it' as far as what we were trying to achieve. They definitely produced a far superior product in the end compared to what we originally envisioned.

The time zone difference between my location on the west coast of Canada, and their location, was a bit of a challenge, but we managed to have productive meetings at the end of their day, and the beginning of mine, so it was no real impediment to the development timeline.

Other than that, which can't be improved on anyway, there is nothing that I can suggest that can be improved upon.

The front-end website and mobile apps were also produced and launched to begin taking order from customers and connecting store account profiles to list products.

We had a few meeting to describe the project and review some benchmarks to get ideas. The team then provided a plan to begin working, the first step was making the Admin Panel that will be the main heart of the system. The tech used was Magento for the admin panel. After that was in progress we began working on the website design and app designs to develop as native apps. Once that was completed and tested we added a payment gateway.

After launching as a new start-up we began marketing and asked close relations to try and give feedback. The ease of use was a winning factor and our staff were able to learn quickly how to use the system.

We used many communication tools, like skype and zoom to share ideas and notes. The team was always available and would give feedback within an hour if not instant.

They could have provided multiple contact points depending on the area being worked on so information and ideas can be shared faster. The project manager was always available, but one point of contact sometimes results in misunderstanding when passing on information to the other teams.

The key deliverable were a logo, app & web designs, mobile app for businesses and consumers, the website for business and consumers, and back-end for Apjpro Admin and staff members. The system is also connected with various marketing channels that allow businesses to promote their listing and deals on social media.

The team understood my requirements very well and developed an initial prototype to confirm the process flow of the project and it was great to see that my project is in good hands. They developed a robust, scalable and highly performance mobile app and website. In just few months, I got a great number of app installs and getting good feedback from customers and businesses.

We used Trello for project management and Skype, Zoom and email for communication. They made daily updates to the Trello and it was very easy for me to track their work.
