We needed to get our phone to ring consistently and spread the word on our business since we're a fairly new company.

Over The Top SEO helped us build our current strategy for local outreach to local communities on a 45-mile radius from Deerfield Beach. They took care of everything related to online marketing, social media, pay-per-click and organic results. Over The Top SEO's team sat down and taught me the key terms for everything related to their work, and I was also given access to a portal with live feeds of everything being done. Over The Top SEO built our website and continued to update its content; the site is SEO-ready. They also created our newsletters, generating constant content for our potential clients in the area.

In the beginning, we had a set of thoughts around what would be best for our company, but, after meeting with Over The Top SEO and talking about our needs, many of those priorities changed. They really taught us how to make the best use of online marketing.

We found Over The Top SEO online through a Google search. I was initially looking for a web designer, but I read an article about the importance of combining design with SEO, so I decided to start on that front. I googled phrases like "best SEO experts", and found Over The Top SEO listed in the regular search. I knew that someone could buy a position within the sponsored links, but you can't buy the ones below. I gave Over The Top SEO a call and found them to be nice and genuine people. The relationship has been good since then.

Our marketing budget is $70,000 per month, and we've been working with Over The Top SEO for almost a year.

We have been featured in The New York Times, Miami Herald and Chicago Tribune as a five-star facility. Over The Top SEO got Google to come by our location and make a tour.

Our newsletter has reached almost 5,000 subscribers since it was started. It has resulted in some outreach to clients. Most importantly, our phone rings.

The overall experience has been enlightening. After reading about the subject online, I realized that there are many downsides, so I feel lucky. I don't have to worry about Over The Top SEO's work very much. Right from the gate, they told us that their team would be in charge, so we could let go.

We have a monthly phone call with one of our account managers. We also have live access to the project tracker. Over The Top SEO has done an overall splendid job.

Over The Top SEO may not be the least expensive company in the world, but they're fair. The work has definitely been worth it. We could always complain about paying too much, but I really do enjoy their services.

Over The Top SEO is the first agency I've used, but, in my opinion, there isn't anything to improve.

Their main project is SEO in general, but we also focus extensively on local SEO. They make sure all 60 of our physical stores are on the maps and ranking locally. They designed my Wordpress site, did PPC management, and provided Instagram optimization, which is great. We started with no traffic at all, and we’re getting not just more traffic but high-quality traffic. They help me with YouTube videos and then they optimize those videos. They made us a Buzzfeed video that got 4.5 million views. They’re really reliable.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

There are a lot of companies that’ll tell you they’re going to do all these things, but the difference is that Over The Top really does it. We’re rank very high on Google right now. On a couple of our keywords we’re first, and on the rest of them we’re slowly but surely going up. We got 1,000 organic visits from our keywords ranking and another 500 paid. Our AdWords budget is small because we’re investing in so many different channels, but the campaign is very optimized. And the visits convert. We’re getting conversions just from PPC, which is amazing. I didn’t imagine that was possible in our niche.

How did Over The Top perform from a project management standpoint?

The project manager is really reliable, detailed and honest. They send reports for everything they do and give a real heads-up for the process. That’s the most important thing for me as a brand, to know that the project is doing well. Over The Top knows what works and they can prove it. They know where to put the money for the business owner and where not to put it.

We have 150 locations to rank for and with approximately about five keywords on each city. We are ranked nationwide locally for mostly all of the needed keywords and at about 80% on the top of the first page. The hardest keyword is Locksmith West Seattle, the competition is extremely hard, and we rank number one organically for it.

Another great example is Locksmith Lynnwood. We rank number one with our local site and number four for our branded keywords.

The results overall are seriously very good. We are very happy. They have gotten us onto the first page in the Seattle area for dozens of important keywords. They have helped our sales and growth.

The special care, the professionalism, and their SEO knowledge are vast and extremely strong. Over The Top SEO's efficiency and unique approach to how to do things is very interesting, to be honest.

They built our whole website from scratch. They got us back on track with our marketing and now we’re ranked number five in all of Florida and in most suburbs we’re in the top 10 positions. They have been managing our AdWords and doing reputation management for us. We’ve had a great relationship with their CEO. We’re spending a lot of money with them, but we’re very happy with the results.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed our website from zero; they optimized it; they manage our pay-per-click and social media campaigns and our SEO. Everything to do with online stuff, they do it for us.

How did you come to work with Over The Top?

When we met Over The Top SEO, we were in some trouble with Google. Our previous SEO company did a very bad job; they slacked around for the last year of work and didn’t invest in us at all. So we started looking for other companies, and we simply searched for top SEO experts. We came across Over The Top SEO in our search.

We pay them monthly, and we’ve spent over $2 million so far. We spend about $1 million in AdWords alone, around $70,000-$80,000/month. We’ve been doing this for more than eight months, so that’s June of 2016.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

It’s been a very successful campaign so far. Overall we’re very happy. We’ve been getting a lot more traffic than we ever had since we launched the new website: traffic rose by about 60% in eight months. They removed our Google penalty promptly; they did a really good job. I don’t want to praise overly, but we’re very happy with them.

How did Over The Top perform from a project management standpoint?

They have a unique method of communicating with clients. It’s a live feed so you can always talk to someone from the team. They have a lot of employees, so someone is always there when you need them. The work is well-defined: we got goals from each month and we have a sit-down once a month. There is never any problem contacting them, whether it’s a question or an idea or a problem with the website.

What did you find most impressive about Over The Top?

We are not easy people to deal with; we’re a multimillion-dollar business that deals with people’s day-to-day issues. We’re not technology-savvy and it can be hard to deliver the message properly. They’ve done a superb job doing just that.

Are there any areas Over The Top could improve?

At the moment, I don’t see anything.

What tips or recommendations could you share that might increase the likelihood of success with Over The Top?

Let go of the reigns. Over The Top really likes to take control and they make a very good argument on that. They’ll say, “Let us do what we do and you do what you do, and if there are any issues we’ll give you your money back. Don’t worry. Just let us do what we know best.” It’s in the contract: we’re not allowed to let anyone in there. They’ll do everything for us. It’s pretty much time for us to get lazy and let them work.

Our call volume has gone up from two orders a month to 4–6 orders a month. We’re happy with those initial results. The PPC campaign they set up was also fruitful almost immediately.

Their team is very good. Our dedicated project manager is super kind and helpful when we need her. We communicate with the team on Skype, which is so easy.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They're true to their name in providing over-the-top SEO. We trusted them and they really deliver. We hope it continues.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It’s a small thing, but we will never be SEO experts. There’s not always a need for them to give us all of the fine details.
