Before our current website the only online presence we had was in the form of Google My Business and the default Google Websites that gets automatically made for you when you create your listing. This made us look very unprofessional and had zero branding applied to something we worked hard on developing so we knew we need to fix that and the solution was to get a custom website built. 

The website needed to be on-brand, hip looking to reflect our young company culture and easy to navigate to find our services and prices. We also wanted to build an email list so we can keep in touch with our customers whenever we have new offers or free giveaways to announce.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Well, our website is definitely getting a lot of traffic based on the metrics we're seeing. It also helped present us in a more professional manner. Our customer can easily find our services and prices so we're not constantly getting phone calls about that as much anymore. We have a strong list of 550+ newsletter subscribers who are also some of our most engaged customers.

All in all we love the site and we believe we genuinely got a great deal for the website compared to some of the other agencies we spoke with. Not to mention they take care of all of our updates be it new images, prices and updates. As you know our business is a highly visual one and we're constantly getting new photographs taken to keep things fresh so not having to bother with making these updates ourselves is a huge plus.

Overall we are very pleased with the communication, from start to end things were being delivered on time. They were even in communication with our photographer to get some feedback on the website's aesthetics. It was a very smooth process, no complaints there.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their service was unique; I never had to worry about the site at all. I've heard horror stories from colleagues about their websites getting hacked or hijacked or losing the whole site because they forgot to update their credit card etc..... They take care of all of that stuff for us and to top it off whenever we need updates on the site it's all included in the service they provide.

Are there any areas for improvement or something The 360° could have done differently?

Nothing major that I can think of, I suppose they do almost all their communication over email which makes sense, I would rather call or text since my phone is always on me and it's more natural for me but that's just a small nitpick, not losing sleep over it.

When we started our company had zero online presence, so the main goal was to get our website up and running as soon as possible. We needed help with content research as well. We needed guidance on what to say on the website and how to present it. The most important element on the website would've been a contact form that is easy to use and quick to fill out.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We're still working with The 360 even to this day. I'm still in business and am growing year by year. A great majority of my business comes through my website and a lot of it (which was surprising at the time) comes from the contact form, I would've thought more people would prefer to call. I think our website gives out a sense that we are a professional and serious business (which we are) that our customer can trust and rely on.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

Absolutely. I think since we can always make changes on the fly is a great feature. A lot of the time it's not an immediate change that needs to be made, so we just email our account manager and they take care of the rest. They're very reasonable with how much gets changed without treating as a separate project. It's definitely worthwhile for us to have on a retainer.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Like I said earlier, since we're on a retainer we can request changes and updates to the content, adding new locations for our services, updating our services and content without having to worry about having to "hire" them again to make these updates. Over the years we've actually gone throw two website refreshes with the same company and we're currently working on a third one, and the cost to do these refreshes is pennies compared to hiring a design company each time.

Are there any areas for improvement or something The 360° could have done differently?

I really can't complain, I've never actually "met" my current project manager but hey everything is online these days so that's kind of normal I suppose.

All of the pictures that we've worked on were sent to Chad. He categorized and grouped them in an a way to make them easily accessible. The website was created from the pictures, and the scope of works related to each project were added. This was all blended nicely to create the final website.
