I’m the co-owner of Wrightman Alpines Nursery. We’re a mail-order specialty plant business that grows and sells alpine plants.

What challenge were you trying to address with OSworkshop?

We brought them on for their web development services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In our first project, they upgraded our e-commerce website. In our most recent project, they upgraded us from Drupal 7 to Drupal 8 and Drupal Commerce. I have web development experience so they include me on their development team; I participate in the code pushes.

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with three individuals as well as their founder.

How did you come to work with OSworkshop?

I posted on Upwork and ultimately selected them as my vendor.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested just under $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in January 2014. It’s a work in progress, and we work in phases.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our customers like the new site and checkout process. Overall, the site functions like a dream. We had challenges with our previous website dealing with the checkout process and currency conversion, but that’s all been cleared up with this new setup. I’m excited about how Drupal 8 functions.

How did OSworkshop perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management has been excellent. I own the site and decide what we’re going to do and not do. When I make a mistake, they tell me and recommend a better way to do it. I totally lean on them and their expertise. Their team knows Drupal inside and out.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We have an odd pricing structure and shipping has been a bit of a nightmare. Our lead programmer kept hammering away at it until he got everything figured out. It’s really smooth now.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there aren’t any areas that need improvement.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You’ll be in good hands. I’ve enjoyed working with Osworkshop for years now. They’re professional and fluent in English. There are no challenges. Their pricing structure is fantastic, and we get great value for the money we spend.

I represent family run company that supplies Polish Army and other uniformed units in wide range of products especially in logistic solution, ballistic protecion, spare parts for military vehicles, special purpose vehicles and others. We have our own production facilities and work as a representative.

We struggled because of poor former website so we set cooperation with OSworkshop to fix it and provide us high quality product. They provide constant service on our website as well so in case anything requires chcange or development they react in short time so our webiste is being updated on our request.

Replacement of old website and just having pretty good one.

Actually I do not remember eaxct number but if my mind does not make me wrong it was about three maybe four person including graphik, programmer etc.

Website is best business card nowadys so since it has been launched I had many inquires about my business that led to implemented contracts with Enduser or caused our involvement in common projects with other companies out of our branch on a synergy basis.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

To be honest they had other projects running that time but I did not suffer because of lack of time for me. I can say forgiving person but I did not feel my project was neglected at any moment but in another hand they were not at my every call.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They're a young team with ideas for their clients and, most importantly, a high sense of responsibility. Reliable.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There always are. Sometimes I thought they were overworked what had impact on their reaction.

If they want go further with developing of business they must think about implementing some (more) formal procedures what can change their felxibility but is a cost that can let them avoid misunderstandings with some clients and will sort out many basic things at the beginning of project and cooperation.

•  Necessary JS is added to communicate with parent window - send information about being on the project page and pass project id or selected filters.

Daily stand ups between the developers and the project manager. Regular follow ups with the project manager. Great Dev Ops in place, allowing to increase/decrease team size rapidly.
