I’m the managing director at Rise Hospitality Management, and we do hospitality management for restaurants, clubs, and lounges.

What challenge were you trying to address with Origin MENA?

We needed help with our branding and marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We’re a new company, and we bought the franchise of an international rooftop restaurant brand to operate in Bahrain. 

Origin is our partner for everything related to our branding, marketing, website, logo, email, and social media. They’re also helping us prepare a marketing budget for the restaurant’s opening in December. 

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with Marwan (Managing Director). I also speak with a marketing manager, a brand manager, and two other resources during meetings.

How did you come to work with Origin MENA?

I found them on the internet. I had a call with Marwan and found him to be personable. Origin was more interested and active than other vendors, so I hired them. 

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $50,000 on our brand launch, and they also have a $15,000 monthly retainer. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Origin’s branding is very clear, simple, and intuitive. Other companies create complicated logos, but their logo is straightforward and attractive. We’ve shown their work to other people, and it has received positive feedback. 

How did Origin MENA perform from a project management standpoint?

Origin is very helpful, and they’re always on time. They try to make things clear straight away; during meetings, they go directly to their point. Additionally, they always give us the ability to choose. They don’t insist on what they want; they provide us with various options.

We communicate through phone calls and Zoom meetings, and we have meetings twice a week. They’re very responsive, even during weekends. The whole process has been fast-moving, fine, and smooth, and they are very professional. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Origin’s presentation of the product is impressive. The way they’ve explained their work shows they are passionate about it, and they make you fall in love with the brand. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.
