A team of 3 app developers worked on our project. We also had a project manager who orchestrated the resources for us.

While it’s too soon to talk about the numbers - but the app they have developed turned out better than we had initially imagined. They really took the time to understand our objectives and created an app like none other. We are very optimistic about it.

A team of 7-9 developers was working under the supervision of a dedicated Project Manager. The PM was the single source of managing resources, timelines and gathering our feedback as the project progressed.

Our users are very happy with the new app. Recently we conducted a survey to see how satisfied the users are with the new layout: 89% of them found the new app easy to use and aesthetically pleasing. Considering the size of audience we have, this is certainly a huge number.

We used Monday.com for project management and Slack for communication. It all worked well for us as our manager was very proactive in communication. We never had to follow-up. He reached out to us before we had to.

The designs they developed were unique and creative. We really like them - exactly how we wanted. The Origami Studios team also considered our user’s needs. Designs are intuitive, and very easy to work with. We’re very happy with their work and can’t wait to implement the designs.

The communication between our team and theirs was seamless. We didn’t have calls daily - but we connected once a week on Wednesday where they shared the progress of the work and collected our feedback. We were constantly in touch with them via emails.

We were looking to build an app that can run smoothly on both Android and iOS platforms. Due to budget and time constraints, we wanted to get the new app live quicker and make it a pocket-friendly option for our audiences.

We were looking for a vendor that is capable enough to build and deliver the desired app timely and hassle free. We interviewed about seven providers and the vendor was the team’s unanimous choice. The provider showcased a few of the similar apps of some other clients that we could well relate to our needs and we decided to hire the developer.

When the vendor started working on the project, we engaged and the vendor helped us map out features that were essential for the app. They also added in a couple of good ideas during the process. Based on our discussions, we created a detailed scope of work. Post that, they started working on the app. The vendor team responded quickly and shared the raw draft in a week’s time. The raw UI and UX they shared was interactive and engaging. After some tos-and-fros, we finalized the app outlook, color scheme, app-flow, app name and other tit-bits in just two days. The team then delivered the final product in about a month’s time. We still consider it quick.

We interacted with the core React Native App Development team throughout the app’s life-cycle. This included a tech lead, and a few UX/UI designers and React Native Developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We first launched it on Android as a trial and we were amazed to see the user’s response. In the first week we recorded 5000 downloads of which around 500 users subscribed and paid for the app. The reason for the 10% subscription in the first week was primarily the lower cost that was possible only due to our in-budget React Native based app. Very next week, the app was live on iOS as well with almost similar response rate.

Mostly all the communication happened through phone and emails. The developers carried a transparent project management style throughout the app development. They were quick and prompt with responses to our queries and concerns.

The app worked effectively from the very first day of launch. Our managers were happy with the system as they can now monitor business operations, track precise position of the field staff and can interact with them through the app whenever required. Our Customers responded well and we registered a massive download in the first week of launch. The users rated our App 4.5 on Google Play Store and 4 on Apple App Store.
