There are many fitness apps currently available on the market. However, most of them require a paid subscription in order to use all of their features. There are some free fitness apps available, but they tend to be very basic and lack the functionality that users want and need. My goal was to create a fitness app that is both free to use and has all of the features that users need including:

• A calorie tracker that allows users to input the foods they have eaten and track their caloric intake
• A workout tracker that allows users to input their workouts and see their progress over time
• A challenges feature that allows users to complete challenges and earn rewards
• A social media feature that allows users to connect with friends and family and share their progress
• Implementing my patent algortithm to evaluate people’s health states.
• A motivation feature that sends users motivational messages and articles

I worked with seven people on their team. This includes a project manager, development lead, design lead, two app developers and one quality assurance engineer. I assume there are more people involved with whom I didn't interact.

Yes, we are seeing progress and success with the fitness app development project. Outcomes from the project thus far include: - 12% increase in daily active users - 20% increase in time spent on the app per day -23% increase in content engagement. These outcomes demonstrate that users are finding the app more useful and engaging, which is translating into better health outcomes. We are also seeing positive feedback from users in terms of the app's impact on their fitness routines.

I'm not a good project manager myself, but Origami’s team did a fabulous job. We have weekly check-ins where they go over what they're working on and so far everything has been right on-time and within budget. We communicate via Slack and Zoom.

They offer a thorough and organized process which is truly notable for its creativity. Everyone's input was extremely valuable and helped keep me on task. Communicating with developers is often frustrating, but that was never the case here. They're a young and exciting team with a fresh perspective. They have a really good pulse of current markets

The team at Origami Studios can take a good idea and make it even better, but it will cost you MONEY.

Our product allows businesses to save on the costs of installing and maintaining infrastructure. It also lets them quickly launch an ecommerce solution on the web, mobile devices, and different ecommerce marketplaces. Our product suite comes with built-in tools for effective webstore management, regardless of business model (B2C or B2B). We initially worked with Origami to speed up our development process. But our collaboration eventually led us to develop advanced cloud-based components.

I can share a few components that they developed for our SaaS product: multistore management, drag-and-drop content builder, loyalty and reporting dashboards for analytics. The system has been tested by our 5 business clients helpng them manage a collective monthly sales of $1.2M.

We decided that the best way forward is by merging these apps into a single code base which would allow us to create next-generation user experiences in terms of look & feel. The team at Origami Studios has been a breath of fresh air. They’ve taken our prototypes and designs to our users with great results, which we never got from the in-house team before! They delivered a phenomenal product loved by our internal and external stakeholders. The app has some minor glitches in the pilot phase that were resolved in a few days' time. Currently, the app is being used by 2500+ users and meets our desired goals. Our sales have increased by 37% and customer response time is improved by 200% or more.

They’re willing to work with us in order to create a long-term partnership, even if it means less billable hours for them. We value this a lot since many contracting companies out there use the consulting model of billable hours in a way that can be contradictory to business needs.

They are already doing great, however, I’d recommend them to start consulting companies along with other services they offer.
