A clearer distinction between launch essentials and future enhancements at the start of the project could have simplified some decisions and made the final testing phase more efficient. The new platform has improved the customer journey, made it easier to manage our online business, and supports our ambition to increase online sales.Since the new webshop has recently launched, we’re still collecting long-term performance data. However, we’ve already seen improvements in the overall user experience, webshop performance, and customer journey. The new platform provides a stronger foundation for increasing online sales, improving conversion rates, and scaling our e-commerce activities in the future.Early feedback has been very positive. Customers experience the new webshop as more modern, faster, and easier to navigate. Internally, the new Shopify platform also makes it easier for us to manage products, content, and future improvements. While we’re still measuring long-term performance, these improvements indicate that the new webshop provides a much stronger foundation compared to the previous platform.

Opklopper further developed Royal Treat’s existing brand direction and translated it into a complete digital identity and custom e-commerce experience. They designed and developed a new webshop for our wine and champagne business, including the UX/UI, e-commerce development and setup for five international markets. After launch, they continued supporting us with conversion optimization.
They analyzed how customers used the webshop and improved areas such as navigation, product presentation, usability and the path from discovering a wine to completing a purchase. Over time, the webshop’s conversion rate increased from approximately 2% to 4%. The key deliverables were the further development of our digital brand identity, a fully custom webshop, international market setup, launch of the platform and ongoing post-launch conversion optimization.

Opklopper redesigned and rebuilt our webshop as a custom Shopify platform for B2B corporate gifting. Their scope covered e-commerce strategy, information architecture, custom UX/UI design, responsive Shopify development and conversion optimisation. They improved the full customer journey, from product discovery and package composition to quotation requests and bulk ordering. 
Key deliverables included a custom gift builder, pick-and-mix functionality, matrix pricing, delivery to multiple addresses and flexible content components that our team can manage independently. 
Opklopper also supported the migration from Lightspeed to Shopify, including catalogue restructuring, SEO redirects, integrations with Exact Online and Picqer, testing and preparation for the important Q4 peak season. Manual quotation, package composition and bulk-order processes were translated into scalable digital flows, including a custom gift builder and pick-and-mix functionality.

Business customers gained clearer self-service options through matrix pricing, quotation requests, bulk ordering and delivery to multiple recipient addresses.

The new storefront improved navigation, product discovery and mobile usability, while giving the internal team a more flexible and manageable Shopify setup.
