We wanted to launch a high-quality website within a short period of time. Since this was our first product website, we needed to define our digital marketing standards and brand guidelines.

The project manager was extremely attentive and responsive to any concerns. We were impressed with their professional communication style. The team was especially diligent about adhering to deadlines.

The project felt customized to our product. They sourced original content for the website, becoming experts in our field of sales. Even though the content needed approval from our parent company, OpenMedium was patient with the process.

They brought an abundance of knowledge in development and marketing to the project.

We are a manufacturer irrigation equipment for agriculture. I'm in marketing communications.

What challenge were you trying to address with OpenMedium?

We wanted to execute a product campaign.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us develop and plan a direct mail and email campaign. They helped us track the results from those campaigns as well, which was extremely beneficial. We met with them a number of times, and they presented options for us to use. For our target audience, a social media campaign would not have been effective, so they helped us know what campaigns would be the most effective.

They had experience working with companies like ours. They understood our needs and challenges.

We spent between $10,000 and $50,000 on the project.

We began working with them in April 2016, and the project was completed in October 2016.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Because of the results, we've eliminated direct mail from our strategy. We'd been using direct mail before, but this was the first time we measured it.

I have an extensive background in active sportswear and have launched my own company recently, VUGA Brand Apparel. We sell our products online and through corporate deals and have a pick-and-pack facility. I am the founder and chief executive officer of the company.

OpenMedium was instrumental in setting up our Shopify site. OpenMedium set up the photography we provided, and they've also participated on the consulting side. They offer us social media management and on-demand support as well. OpenMedium has provided a team of experienced people who have been helpful on a number of levels.

I received a couple of bids. OpenMedium's rate was around 25% lower than the rest for full-service digital strategy and execution.

The ongoing social media strategy work has a cost of $1,000 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with OpenMedium in June 2016. The project is ongoing.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

We launched the brand in November 2016. There have been many online sales, not only direct-to-consumer but also through corporate accounts. OpenMedium has been instrumental in supporting that, and they're helpful in dealing with our Twitter and Facebook marketing.

How did OpenMedium perform from a project management standpoint?

OpenMedium has always been available for any questions I had. I highly recommend OpenMedium, and I will continue to work with the company.

What did you find most impressive about OpenMedium?

OpenMedium's principal [founder J. Eric Hill] is young, aggressive, very enthusiastic, and engaging. He is committed to the work, which was a part of my decision when selecting OpenMedium.

Are there any areas OpenMedium could improve?

No. I've been extremely happy with everything OpenMedium's done.
