We worked with OnGraph to build a system for tracking our bond issuances. This includes a place to store all the pertinent details of the transaction (key documents, contacts, billing terms, bond terms) as well as a system that allowed us to bill our customers based on bond specific terms. We had custom reporting built to track various items related to billing (aged receivables, future receipts etc...) as well as custom reporting to execute a revenue share program that we use.

The site was built in this way we wanted. Of course, you have Feedback loops and some bug fixing but the guys were and are very fast and the quality of the work is very good so we stay here with OnGraph to build on this platform.

We use Trello and Slack and sometimes Slack-Calls or Skype to communicate. The most important messages were also sent via email.

Impressive is the fast working and the effectiveness of the quality and the costs OnGraph has. They can offer you everything you need as a digital company because you get everything you ask for.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had one time that the conversation was a little delayed because after the first completion they had other projects to do. Here it would have been good if there were a small message that they are going to answer and work on a little later because of the other projects.

This message came a few days later but it would be better if a short delay would have been told earlier. It was not something that makes the collaboration bad but this could have done better.

The solution had to be future-proof and web-based, so we decided to use Ruby as our framework because of its reliability and proven industry standards. We wanted to create a professional UI based on the latest Bootstrap techniques in order to have a friendly UX [user experience]. The solution is being developed in line with our timeframe and scope. So far, we are satisfied with the results. We wanted to launch an MVP [minimum viable product] last summer, but it got delayed due to some major bugs. As a result, we decided to postpone the launch and build other essential features parallel to the bug fixes.

They’re handling project management professionally, and they meet deadlines most of the time. We use Skype, Slack, and Google Hangout on a daily basis. We can easily communicate with the developers and project manager.

Even when adjustments were needed after the publication, Nikhil was responsive and delivered another build. He never expressed frustration but rather showed so much joy in working with my company. We even scheduled conference calls, and Nikhil showed me that our time difference had no impact on his work. He was accessible for the entire duration of our project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since our app's release, we have had more than 7,000 downloads and people in over 65 countries have downloaded our app, viewed our storybook, and visited our site. Our report also shows that we have no crashes.

As a quality assurance engineer myself, I can accurately state that OnGraph is a very excellent company to work with. Every employee that played a role in our app development communicated well via email and phone.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our platform is designed to provide extensive practice to students. There are 2 aspects: the 1st is building the database of questions in high school mathematics and providing practice for students. The 2nd aspect is working toward creating engaging concepts and content that can help teach students.

OnGraph designed the platform for all the programming work and the web interface where the data entry team puts all the multiple-choice questions and answer choices they've cut from different sources. They’re building the total backend for us from the application architecture perspective, as well as the main stack, including NodeJS and AngularJS. It’s one of the most versatile backend technologies.

They’re also building the web frontend, where users can log in and access the application, and designing the relevant screens. There will be a mobile app for users to access the frontend and the questions. We are working on the Android version and later, iOS.
