For reasons that didn't seem to make sense, Google banned our company from advertising on their network. We felt we were complying with their policies, but weren't able to get Google to recognise the arguments we were presenting. Bear in mind that the ban had lasted for 5 months by this stage, and there was a significant opportunity cost incurred by us. One Egg were able to get resolution for us very quickly. I was extremely impressed and thankful.

I don't have anything to add really. Our project was very precise and targeted in its goal, and it was achieved rapidly.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

On average, the ROI for each monthly campaign is at least 7 which is a great result.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They are always available to communicate, however not a lot of communication is needed as we trust their skills and are happy with the results every month. Mostly communicate via email to advise of upcoming campaigns/product launches

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are specialists in lots of different paid traffic areas, great at keyword research, and their reporting is incredibly comprehensive and impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Only feedback is that our branding (particularly visuals) is very specific, so it can be challenging for anyone outside our company to be in line with how we present our brand. A bit more specific guidance from our side is all that's needed to improve things here.

I found the digital marketing team pretty good and helpful i.e. running the web ads. I had huge problems with the web analytics and the first run at the email nurture. The second attempt at the email nurture was much better but I never felt like I was being lead in this project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Fairly good i would say.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I found the 2 principals Mark and Ilan knowledgeable and honest and upfront about what they can and cannot do.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I felt that the overall management of the project could have been better. It did feel better when Jess became involved and was put in charge of our account. My main issue on this was I was keen to hire a full time person for the role Jess was playing. I am just not sure if I would have been better off with a full time worker in the Ukraine versus a project coordinator.

In the end the project was pulled for corporate reasons and I would have pushed ahead with One Egg and hopefully we would have ironed out the weaknesses in time. There is never a perfect setup so I don't want to sound negative. There was room for improvement, but there is a lot of talent in the team. So I think you guys can built off your existing foundations.

We hired One Egg to help us with our PPC/SEO strategy. In particular, our goal was to implement digital solutions to increase business efficiency as well as growing programs (i.e. guided tours), accommodations (heritage houses and apartment, campground) and event ticketing revenue. Our previous vendor wasn't delivering great results, and no goal tracking was in place, which made it close to impossible to track ROI.

We wanted to prioritise the account spend to focus more on the key goal which is visitation.

Being a government organisation, we have to adhere to strict procurement rules. We interviewed three different agencies and we selected Egg One. The deciding factors were their attractive pricing, good referrals from existing/previous clients and proven expertise and knowledge of the local Sydney market.

One Egg started with a complete audit of our Google Ads and Facebook accounts. They also conducted an SEO review of our websites. The next step was working with our ticketing and accommodation reservation platform to set up clear conversion goals.

Then, they re-structured all our PPC campaigns on Google Ads, implemented negative keywords. After a successful trial period, we extended our efforts to awareness building / brand campaigns and launch YouTube advertising.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Overall Performance & conversions: we saw an increase in visibility, engagement, and conversions overall. Conversions recovered and cost per click is at a nice level, considering that we have more awareness campaigns in the mix. Keyword & campaign performance: highest converting campaigns were the Brand, Camping, Accommodation. These campaigns have extremely high conversion rates of over 20%.

Their team is extremely helpful. They are great communicators, and very pro-active, providing us with ongoing reports and recommendations for performance improvement.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Aside from being very pleasant to work with, their professionalism and responsiveness stand out the most.

The only frustration has to do with our limited budget, as the Harbour Trust receives limited ongoing support from the Federal Government and strives to deliver as much as it can through its own income.

I’m a sales manager with Euro Marble. We’re a natural stone manufacturing company. We import slabs of natural stone from all over the world and manufacture them into finished products. whether those are kitchen countertop or bathroom vanities or commercial products.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They send monthly reports that are very easy for us to understand and have clear analytics. These show that our traffic has doubled (thanks to the new pages and backlinks they’ve added), which has led to an influx of quality leads. Where 20% of our leads used to be quality, now we see 40%. These quality leads are for large kitchens, residential and commercial projects.

How did One Egg Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

They have an application they work with and assign tasks to us in. They also put deadlines in, which helps communication. They’re an email or a call away at all times and get back to us quite promptly. They’re strict with their communication and deadlines as well, which is great for organization.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve recommended them to other friends and small businesses—professionals that want to take the next step in business. A vast array of SEO companies promise the world, but One Egg delivers.

They’re a small boutique agency, and they put all their resources into their clients, in addition to keeping up with the latest trends in SEO and the digital world, which they recommend to us.

The cost is double what I paid previously, but I can substantiate the cost with the quality of work.

Set out the scope from the initial meeting so they can see what your business needs. I’d also recommend a face-to-face engagement as well. Get a feel of who you’re dealing with.
