One Egg monitors our SEO performance and provides in-depth reports detailing crawl errors, misconfigured website settings, and redirection errors. Their consulting advice revolves around content amplification and seeding, competitor analyses, link building and reclamation, and citation listings.

Beyond providing simple statistics, they help us understand the results in context: what's working and what's not working. They also assist us with content production including in-depth keyword research and strategic planning. Finally, they prepare periodic training sessions for marketing and communications staff members to increase our digital capacity organization-wide.

I don't know how many people are involved from One Egg Digital, but Ilan (SEO and PPC Consultant, One Egg Digital) is our primary contact.

I don’t have specific numbers, but they’ve been able to connect us with other specialists in the industry for various digital projects.

Ilan is professional and promptly replies to communications. He works according to our timelines and manages expectations clearly. He’s attentive to our needs and flexible enough to change processes if needed.

I'm the director of digital marketing at Pyramid Analytics, an enterprise analytics and business intelligence platform. We deliver a full end-to-end solution that pulls in and matches up data to analyze and display in reports that update automatically. Natural language processing queries and collaboration on different points of reports and charts improve communication among employees.

What challenge were you trying to address with One Egg Digital?

We wanted to increase organic traffic to our website. Our end goal was to achieve a higher volume of conversions. The conversions we were measuring were the number of downloads for our app. We also tracked the volume of inquiries either for more information about a demo or for webinars and white papers.

What was the scope of their involvement?

One Egg Digital conducted an in-depth analysis of our website and keywords that are relevant to competitors in our industry. They located issues on the site and how we could improve components like meta tags, keywords, titles, and descriptions. We needed to make sure the entire website was targeting the most important keywords we identified for our organization. To improve the site’s SEO, we build backlinks to the content we either place or find on other companies’ websites.

One Egg Digital has helped us craft and guide our content. They provided strategic points to optimize the content we create internally for SEO with the right wording. We apply these best practices not only on the backend, but also within the content we know Google will be searching for. 

A specialist from the team leads the digital marketing efforts. They help us post our display ads, Google Ads, and ads on LinkedIn. We strategically ensure we're pairing the content from our ads with the content we're pushing online. He makes sure all the landing pages work well together and focus on the same keywords.

What is the team composition? 

I work with three key individuals from One Egg Digital. Ilan (Senior SEO and PPC Consultant, One Egg Digital) helps us on the SEO front with strategy. He provides tips, tricks, and recommendations to maintain and improve the position we're targeting. Mark (Co-Founder, One Egg Digital) manages our digital advertising. 

Callum (Amazon Marketplace Specialist, One Egg Digital) works towards the backend on the management side. As our project manager, he makes sure we stay on schedule and keep up with and completing all our tasks, especially for link building.

How did you come to work with One Egg Digital?

One Egg Digital is based in Australia, where our internal IT employee lives. He had heard of their organization before and presented them as an option for our team. The American dollar is currently stronger than the Australian dollar, which was also an incentive to hire them. We could receive more high-quality work, dedication, and support than we could from an American company at an excellent price point. 

How much have you invested with them?

So far, we've spent between $50,000–$70,000 USD. 

What is the status of this engagement?

When I came on board in July 2018, our company had already identified One Egg Digital as a possible candidate. I handled the final evaluation and approval. We have them on a monthly retainer and are coming to the end of our initial six-month agreement. Right now, we're identifying the best option moving forward. We will either extend the original contract on a monthly basis or use a retainer.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our work with One Egg Digital has definitely seen our page rankings improve across at least the top ten keywords we've been targeting. Among the top five keywords, we've seen much more organic traffic come through from backlinks. 

Since working together, we’ve also had a continuous, steady rise in the number of app downloads from our website. The volume of organic and paid traffic to our site have both increased. Most importantly, our cost per click (CPC) rates have gone down. That trend didn't start until One Egg Digital came on board. 

How did One Egg Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

One Egg Digital is very good at keeping on top of the project. Usually, they contact me via Skype and email. They also invited us to an Asana dashboard. We use it as a resource to manage some of our projects together. 

Through a system we set up via Google, they tag me for specific tasks and activities and notify me when they make changes to documents. It keeps us all aware of our respective efforts and requirements, and what completing them requires. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

One Egg Digital is a very dedicated team. They are by far the smartest one I’ve seen about SEO, SEM, and digital marketing. I've worked with agencies large and small from across America. One Egg Digital has delivered more value and benefit than any other agency I've worked with in the past 20 years. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't have any recommendations at the moment. The dashboard we use to collaborate had some issues, but I think they were caused by Google rather than One Egg Digital. I plan to continue their contract for as long as the company is in business. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Customers should dedicate a teammate to ensure One Egg Digital's recommendations are implemented. Otherwise, find room in the budget for One Egg Digital to find the resources to make those things happen.
