ONBOX created a fresh new brand identifty and website with a CMS and dynamic filter so that students can more easily find the class that they are looking for. As part of this, ONBOX delivered new logos, a brand guide, and merch design, along with various other graphic assets including stickers and modified logos for specific use cases.

After much searching, we decided to work with OnBox Creative Inc., and it was hands down the best decision we could have made. They didn't just create a beautiful design; they became an indispensable part of our journey, guiding us with an expertise that far exceeded our expectations.

Although this could be partly due to our fault, i.e. getting the information to them late. Some aspects of the packaging external box could have been done more professionally - or, just not done at all. We did get charged more (also due to our fault) - that is something to look out for. Prepare all your items you need ahead of time - these guys are very organized and methodical in terms of time (very refreshing).

We wanted to develop a website to show the approachable, fun, and exciting side of our brand while keeping it premium. We also wanted to improve the customer journey to help convert without e commerce.

ONBOX Creative Inc. did a thorough brand discovery with us, suggesting ways to evolve our current brand DNA to make it bolder and more fun. Then, they designed, built, and launched a website for us. They also helped produce a brand video for our header.

The website included photography, a recipe section, interactive elements like animations, a password-protected retailer portal, and French/English and US versions.

Our retail partners are excited about the new brand direction. We're already seeing a 72% increase in engagement and a 5% increase in page views since the launch. Additionally, the customer journey has improved, with 120% more people viewing the store locator.

What challenge were you trying to address with ONBOX Creative Inc.?

Despite our dated brand, we had a successful brand and a large customer base. Our real goal in engaging with ONBOX Creative Inc. was to give our brand a fresh modern look without deviating too far from what our customers were comfortable with. We also wanted them to give us a nicer-looking store and implement all of the new features we wanted with the bundles, gamified checkout, and more.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They recreated our branding colors and typography, and they cleaned up our logo. They also gave us a new layout and feature set for our purchasing section, and they built a full-funnel to show us the flow of how people would come to our site and interact with the features we placed there. They provided photography services, too. They literally did everything except 3D rendering.

We mainly worked with Adam (Director) who helped us through the planning and discovery stages. After that, he went into a project management role. We also worked with Chris (Designer) and their photographer.

I interviewed 6–7 potential firms, and I liked ONBOX Creative Inc. because they were local and super nice. Their work was also impressive and we were happy to collaborate with them. The team also created the website of my business partner's cousin.

We worked with them from February–July 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They really helped us rethink our brand, including what our goals were and how we were reaching out to our target demographic. They also made us think about the imagery, visuals, and colors we were presenting to our audience, and how our UI/UX could help our users utilize our site. 

Our stakeholders told us that our branding was a huge step up from what we had before. In addition, people told us they loved our new branding’s look and feel, and all of our customer service agents were happy with it. Furthermore, a couple of customers called in and told us that they found it easier to purchase on our site and they loved the fact that we offered them new purchasing options. Overall, the feedback from everybody was positive.

How did ONBOX Creative Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

ONBOX Creative Inc. had a good project management process, and they pretty much hit all of our deadlines. They were also very clear that they were going to finish the project a couple of weeks over because we hit snags along the way.

Communication between us was always great, and they always responded whenever we needed them to. Above all, we had weekly meetings where they updated us about the status of the project and showed everything that they were working on.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We liked ONBOX Creative Inc.'s large discovery phase because they really went out of their way to identify our customers and how they would interact on our site. They also helped us see the possible future plans we could implement that were aligned with where our business was going.

On top of that, they had a holistic perspective when it came to website development and designing; they ensured that our assets were going to grow with us. Above all, their process for building the design was very focused on a handoff to developers so that there would be few questions once their work was turned over.

No, everything was good.
