I’m a co-organizer for an event, assisting the lead organizer.

What challenge were you trying to address with Pixedon Media?

We approached them to work on our PR, especially in terms of promotions and media recognition. We consulted them for website setup and media content.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Pixedon Media helped us set up a website to help us interact with the attendees of the event and give us a good branding outlook. Apart from that, they helped us with social media management.

We only gave them a concept; they creatively solved the problem. For example, we wanted the website to interact with the audience. They were able to incorporate our YouTube playlist into the website, and they created a module that shows attendees’ feedback. They also implemented fonts for partners and for the people who’d worked for us. The website showed what the event would be and what people should expect. 

What is the team composition?

I know they assigned two people for social media, one for content creation and another for page management. I’m not sure exactly how large the website team was.

How did you come to work with Pixedon Media?

This was the second time we’d held the event since 2018. We learned about what Pixedon Media was doing, and we thought it would be nice if we could work with them for this year. They approached us initially and wanted to partner with us.

How much have you invested with them?

The social media work costs $300 per month, and the website cost us $400–$500. The total cost was below $10,000. They gave us a serious discount, but I’m not sure what the exact amount was.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Pixedon Media in April 2019 and finished in August 2019. We had two weeks for post-event activities.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re gaining a minimum of 18 followers per day, so they definitely helped us develop a good social media strategy.

The site was made for a one-time event. However, the team mentioned that, since this is an annual event, we can reframe it to accommodate almost every year’s event. It can now serve as an archive for past events, as well as showcase upcoming ones. 

How did Pixedon Media perform from a project management standpoint?

They respond promptly, which is one of the best parts about working with them. If we have an inquiry, they usually have someone to assist us. They were open to discussion and adaptive as well. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Clean work and punctuality are their two best features.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We didn’t have a very good experience with their website's email system. I’m not sure whether our team knows how to use it or not. We’d appreciate it if Pixedon Media suggested a more user-friendly option. We ended up still using the normal Gmail we had before the domain.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Clients should make sure they have a good understanding of the idea. Pixedon Media has good creativity and they can create good work, but, if they’re not given the right information, they may deliver something that’s not good for the client. If you are clear, they will bring the right thing. It’s important to have good communication before the launch of the project.
