The key objectives were:

A major highlight was the AI-powered assistant, designed to help instructors structure and refine courses efficiently. Okeen took this concept from idea to implementation, integrating smart recommendations and automation.

The project was large and complex, and naturally, challenges arose. However, Okeen handled them smoothly, maintaining clear communication and proactively adjusting to evolving priorities. The updated platform is now in internal testing, and early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

We began our collaboration in February 2024 and continue to work together to this day. Our tool is nearly ready, with ongoing improvements. It's been impressive so far. I've come across some revealing data and implementing the tool has been smooth. Plus, I can now present findings visually and track important stats efficiently, which wasn't possible before.

They’re good at project management; they’ve provided us with a project manager for free. The team puts all the tasks in Jira, so everything is synchronized. We communicate via email, Google Meet, and WhatsApp, and they reply quickly.

SuperBest: Brief for UX/UI design for teacher/parent/child app 
This project does not yet have a confirmed name or brand. The working name for the project is SuperBest, but this may change. The core idea of the app is to allow teachers (and parents), with the help of generative AI, to create bedtime stories and quests for kids, and I would like to use my engagement with a UX/UI designer to use visuals to refine the idea further. 
The designer must feel free to suggest changes that they think will make the app better. This app will work in the context of school teachers teaching kids between the ages of 3 and 12 years old with the support of the kids’ parents. There are therefore 3 users of the app: Teachers; Parents; and Kids. 
There are already several existing bedtime story apps that use generative AI. The key difference between this app and the existing apps is that this one will see a teacher as a key user that creates stories and/or quests that relate to what the kid is learning at school. This helps achieve:

1.  consistent use and
2. relevant content. 

The app will allow teachers (and parents), with the help of generative AI, to create bedtime stories and quests for kids. Bedtime stories will be read to the kids by a parent, and kids will be able to interact with a quest on their own. 
Teachers will be able to enter a simple paragraph of text (e.g. summary of what kids did at school on a given day, or in a certain class) and the app will generate a bedtime story or a quest that includes text and images for the parent to read to the kids, or a quest for the kid to interact with on their own. 
The following needs of each of the stakeholders will be served by this app: 

• Parents want to feel informed about and involved in their kids education 
• Teachers want to teach well and be seen to be progressive 
• Teachers want parents to feel informed and support their teaching 
• Teachers and parents want all of the above quickly and easily 
• Kids want to be engaged and/or entertained

The role of AI: Generative AIs - specifically ChatGPT or Llama 2 for text, and MidJourney or Stable Diffusion for images - have the ability to take user input and, together with a good AI prompt, generate high quality text and image content. The best examples of an AI-powered consumer application relating to kids include www.bedtimestory.ai, www.bedtimestories.ai and https://onceuponabot.com. 
Given these website’s traction so far, they will be the primary comparison and inspiration we use for this app. I’d like to borrow from their style and UI as much as we think we can, as they have already learnt a lot about what works and what doesn’t work in this space. 
The ChatGPT and Midjourney APIs will be used to take a simple teacher (or parent) input and generate one of two formats of content for the parent and kids: Bedtime stories; and Quests. I believe bedtime stories, read by the parent, will be most appropriate for kids aged 3 - 7, and that quests, operated by the kid, will be most appropriate for kids aged 8 - 12. But there will likely be overlap between these age groups. 
Bedtime stories will look and feel much like stories on www.bedtime story.ai. And I’d like the app to borrow heavily from this website’s mobile design, which is the best of the above 3 reference sites.
