Our analytics prove that our site's traffic has increased exponentially. 

Our web sales are up about 15% from last year.

The amount of time a customer spends on our site far exceeds the norm, indicating they are enjoying the experience of browsing through our options.

When our site had more visitors than we expected, and more than the server could handle, the team acted quickly to patch issues on the backend, eventually moving us to our own stand alone server.

I was able to communicate directly with the team, allowing for fast response time when issues arose due to more traffic on our site than expected. 

Though the completed site took a lot longer than expected, this was mostly due to our company's delayed responses and delayed directions. The NuStream team responded through emails and zoom meetings and delivered corrections, edits, and development in a very timely manner.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found NuStream's entire team to be experts in their respective areas of expertise. They made suggestions and improvements we did not think were possible, and all for an extremely affordable price. I am impressed with the knowledge, the creative input, and communication skills of all members of the team. I was able to work with each member of the team, yet they all worked seemlessly together on this project. 

Are there any areas for improvement or something NuStream could have done differently?

In our case, the only thing that could have helped was providing us with the option of our own server right from the beginning. Our site would freeze up because of the shear volumne of visitors, until we moved to our own server.

I measure success by the qualified customers who find us through our website. I’ve had customers who found me through Google, which I attribute to the website. Moreover, the website has given me a higher ranking on Google — we’ve gained more visibility than before.

They deliver on time and within budget while communicating well with me. To communicate, we use phone calls and texts. I also email them some business content.

NuStream’s quality of work has met my expectations.

They’ve gone through leadership changes over the years. A couple of partners have left, and there has been some disruption. To be fair, they’ve fixed this, and I’m satisfied with their current service.

Be clear about what you want and put it in writing. Give NuStream specific timeframes on when you want to get the work done. If you give them clear directions, you’ll be happy with them.

The relationship began with a referral from a local colleague. We met with Kevin to discuss our issues with an organic ranking of our website. Our website was indeed dated but was also not on a platform that allowed for optimal SEO. We needed a new website and we wanted very specific design elements incorporated with our website.

The lead designer was incredible. His design and creativity were awesome and the team that made the site function and flow was on their game. From there the SEO campaign was launched and we had considerable improvement once we had everything launched.

I’m the director of marketing for Pennsylvania Virtual Charter School, a cyber school that offers online education from kindergarten through 12 grade throughout the state of Pennsylvania. In my position, I handle all marketing initiatives, whether they are internal marketing campaigns to inform parents about what’s going on or external marketing campaigns to let people know about our program to raise awareness.

What challenge were you trying to address with NuStream?

We had two main challenges: we had seen an increase in our competition, and we realized that we had very low awareness. Our school has been around since 2001. Still, many people throughout the state didn’t know we existed, and others thought that we were the same as other schools (as if we were all part of the same organization) and ended up signing up with our competitors. Therefore, we needed help to raise our awareness in the market.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NuStream has helped us with our SEO, SEM, PPC, and branding to attract leads, get people to understand who we are, and distinguish ourselves from the competition. Since we started our relationship, we’ve worked closely together on our digital marketing, which has included social media advertising on Facebook and YouTube.

NuStream has also provided consulting on other marketing areas as well, and their team helps me bounce marketing ideas off. For example, they’ve guided us on how to make pamphlets for families. Additionally, their services include data analysis to help us understand month to month what is going on in the market, what the trends are, and how we can adjust our budgets to suit our needs better.

Initially, we provided NuStream with some guidelines because marketing for public entities such as schools is a bit different than marketing for brands. Using that input, they’ve been able to tailor how our ads look on social media and create some of the imagery we use for flyers.

We found them on Google. We had worked with a company that was helping us with our SEO and SEM, but they failed us, so we decided to look for a replacement. When we found NuStream, they came to us for the sales pitch with custom-made binders of information. At that meeting, they talked about our top competitors and about us, gave us suggestions about what we could do better, and provided us with other suggestions we could implement with or without them to grow our presence and place ourselves as the top cyber school in Pennsylvania.

We started working together around August 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Since working with NuStream, we’ve had the three most successful years in the history of our school regarding the number of prospects we’ve been able to bring in and enroll. Their team has been able to stay focused on improving our image in the market, and they’ve gone above and beyond to meet our expectations.

As general feedback, NuStream’s work quality is very good, and they make us feel like they’re part of our team. They want to know our business, our pain points, and how they can help, so I consider them to be excellent problem-solvers. Moreover, they’re very helpful and adaptable to changes.

How did NuStream perform from a project management standpoint?

NuStream performs very well. They make every meeting I schedule with them, and over our three-year engagement, they’ve only had to cancel a meeting once or twice. We communicate via Google Meet, although we’ve used Slack briefly in the past.

What did you find most impressive about them?

NuStream’s customer service is top-notch. Any time I need something from them, even if it is after hours, I can reach out to them. Whenever they can’t answer after hours, they respond to me first thing in the morning. Additionally, whenever we have an emergency, I can contact them through an emergency phone number to get help.

Are there any areas they could improve?

If anything, it would be great if NuStream improved their organization. Sometimes, I feel like I’m the one keeping things organized, and I occasionally remind them about certain things. Still, they’ve been great to work with.

Take their call and be clear about your goals. The clearer you are with your goals, the better chances you have of them being achieved. Additionally, if you’re looking for a partner who shares their expertise and really strives to help your business, NuStream is the way to go.

The site looks great; it’s an upgrade to what I had before, and I feel like it’ll take my brand to the next level. The NuStream team is very hands-on, easy to contact, and fairly quick to get things done. Overall, they’re a professional company. Although I can’t put a number on the results yet, I’ll be able to measure their success based on ROI once they finish the site.

They perform well in terms of meeting deadlines and staying on budget. While we’ve had a delay, part of the reason is on my end because I had to get the inventory correct. We typically communicate via phone calls and text messages.

No, it’s been a pretty smooth process.

I would recommend having the necessary knowledge on your end. I had to do my part by updating my inventory and product images and making sure all my accounts were correct. A web development project is a two-way street, so you must also do your part.

I hired them for two reasons: to develop my website and do digital marketing around the launch of my business.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In terms of digital marketing, they provide SEO, Google Ads campaign management. They built the website on WordPress and are now providing hosting and maintenance. They’ve also offered my social media marketing services, but I’m sticking with SEO and PPC for now.

We’ve also discussed how I can increase lead capture through my phone service. I don’t have a receptionist right now, so I’m fielding the calls myself, and NuStream has advised me on ways to diversify myself from other attorneys that share my space and ensure that my leads are only captured by me.

What is the team composition?

I was in contact with approximately three people for the website: Kevin (Sales Manager), an initial lead to get the project going, and Tony (Web Developer). Tony was the main person I worked with to build out the website and our content. I’m not very technically savvy, so Tony taught me how to update certain aspects of the site so I don’t have to keep going back to them.

They came up during a Google search for companies local to me here in Harrisburg. After doing a bit of comparison shopping and viewing of their websites, I scheduled a consult with NuStream. Kevin showed me the other websites they’d created, and I felt very comfortable talking to him about my goals, as he seemed genuinely interested in my work. They were very willing to work with my budget, too. they showed me that they’d do great with my more limited funds.

We’re currently moving up in the rankings thanks to their techniques and advice. Additionally, we’ve received around 40–50 calls through the phone number we set up for our digital campaigns. This number has been steadily climbing since July.

How did NuStream perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been very flexible and have update calls with us regularly. Additionally, they provide me with a number of marketing channels (different areas of law) to invest my resources in, and I choose which to pursue. they’re a highly flexible partner.

We communicate over phone calls, emails, and the occasional Zoom meeting.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Even now that the website is finished, I still get tips from Kevin about how to improve it. I definitely feel appreciated as a customer.

Their willingness to work within the budget I gave them stands out. They’ve stepped outside of what they usually do for larger clients. I gave them very specific parameters as to what I could afford, and they ran with my ideas without downgrading their services or holding things back.

Secondly, they’re genuinely interested in helping me, asking questions about my business and sharing any information they think might be helpful. They’re walking hand-in-hand with me through this process to get my business up and running.

I’ve been very pleased with everything, so I don’t have any constructive feedback at this time. They’re more responsive to me than I am to them. The website took a bit longer to complete than I expected, but that was because we kept making updates and changes. They were very patient with me.

Be honest with them about what your limitations are. Give them parameters to work with and they’ll find a way to accomplish what you need. If you have ideas of what you want to do, they’ll provide and feedback to ensure you won’t waste your money.

Once we were on the phone they setup an appointment to discuss the video project I had in mind at their main office. I already saw what their work was on the website and was really impressed. Once we were in the office I met their whole team and I felt a great connection with everybody. We discussed price and deadline for my project and then it was a go!

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

The video I needed was based on a clothing ad for one of the business I manage for their social media. It was just a ad campaign for the winter with models wearing jackets and hoodies. There was only one Cameraman who was highly skilled. It took about two days to get all the footage and then the team at NuStream did all the editing work. One week later the video was done.

Maybe just amp up the promptness in replying to requests - it did get better as our project went on, though. And as I said, the person we felt that was a little bit of a struggle with is no longer with NuStream. All good.

I wanted to create a blogging website to promote and share knowledge. I was working on the website but was having issues with the images. I had a huge webinar coming up and needed to complete the website.

NuStream Marketing created a logo and redid the entire WordPress website. I gave them the platform and told them what I wanted to achieve. They adjusted the layout using their professional judgment.

I got great feedback on the website. Many people commented and reached out to say that the site looks awesome. I’m constantly trying to upload new posts. The blog receives great feedback from the user community. I like the logo too.

We texted over the weekend and jumped on calls. Their team was efficient and wanted to get the project done. I gave them the specifications and they jumped right into the project. Kevin’s management style involved listening to my requirements and then giving suggestions based on his experiences. He backed up all of his suggestions with information and I went with all of them. Ultimately, he let me make the decisions. He took my ideas and incorporated them into best practices.
