Numlytics consulting participated in the detailed designs and implementation of a set of microservices used to manage core data entities that are shared across a large software as a service product portfolio. Key deliverables for the project included implementation of shared libraries that were used within each microservice, CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This project entailed creating a new set of web microservices that exposed APIs that were deployed into lower and production environments that client web applications were able to develop against.

This project was managed with an agile process that included sprints that ran for 2 weeks. After a few sprints, the team cadence was consistent and predictable which allowed us to predict and plan for when new services an features would be available.

Communication and daily status updates are the areas that we need to continue to improve in order to maximize the throughput during the non-overlapping business hours.

The scope of work focuses on delivering a secure and scalable Microsoft Fabric and Power BI analytics platform to support Redsquid’s internal operations and managed services. They design and implement the Microsoft Fabric architecture, establish a centralised data lakehouse to unify IT, cloud, and security data, and develop Power BI dashboards for operational, executive, and customer reporting. The engagement also includes enabling embedded analytics within their service platforms to enhance customer visibility and service value. Key deliverables comprise a production-ready Fabric environment, integrated data pipelines, role-based Power BI dashboards, embedded analytics capabilities, and full documentation with knowledge transfer to ensure long-term sustainability and effective adoption.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Centralised data and standardised dashboards reduced reporting effort and accelerated decision-making for operational and executive teams. SLA tracking, service performance monitoring, and customer reporting became more consistent and reliable through embedded analytics. The scalable architecture enabled Redsquid to support new services and customers without added analytics complexity, while improving data accuracy and operational efficiency.

They applied a structured, professional approach to project management, executing each phase from architecture design to Power BI deployment methodically and on schedule.
