Noorix has helped me design and develop the entire web app from scratch. Initially, they presented a detailed scope, proposal, and quote, which we modified and agreed on before starting the actual process. From there, we went through a discovery process for Noorix to gain a thorough understanding of how I wanted the app to work.

During the discovery process, I provided Noorix with a basic system I had already built in Excel for them to understand the functionality. After that, we went through the UI/UX design process to define how everything would look, during which they managed all of the technical aspects. Then, they developed the app’s backend and database and helped me set it up on AWS to bring it to life.

Now, a pilot stage version is up and running with a test customer, but there is still ongoing development. I’m looking to onboard a few more customers once we complete the next stage of development.

In addition to the web app, Noorix has helped us build a landing page for the business. Eventually, people will find the product on that page; it will serve as a marketing and sales website. Still, existing customers will be able to log in and enter our platform.

I have one main point of contact from Noorix. I also have a project manager and a development team working with him assigned to the project, but I haven’t interacted with any of them.

How did you come to work with Noorix Digital Solutions?

I was researching web development companies online and found a site displaying multiple service providers. However, I was looking for a company with experience in developing applications, and I found Noorix as a Sydney-based company with the experience I was looking for.

Although I vetted multiple other companies, I found Noorix to be the most interested, engaged, and forthcoming of them all. Other companies were open to having a quick conversation over the phone to get some background, but after that, all they wanted was for me to commit to the engagement with a down payment.

Noorix was a lot more forthcoming, and they clearly stated that they wanted to work on the project. They were also more engaged from the start and went through what I already had in Excel. Moreover, their proposal was very detailed and included the scope, timelines, and pricing. Overall, I chose them due to the effort they made in trying to gain my business.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent around $40,000 AUD (approximately $27,000 USD) so far, but the total cost will end up being between $50,000–$100,000 AUD (approximately $33,000–$67,000 USD).

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The test customer is amazed by the pilot product, and their initial feedback has been extremely positive. The functionality that Noorix has achieved for the web app has far exceeded what I thought would be possible, which is great.

Since we launched the pilot product, there have been no problems. Noorix gave me early access to the product so that I could find bugs, and every issue I found was solved before launching the product.

How did Noorix Digital Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

Noorix’s project management has been very good, and they’ve delivered within the estimated timelines. We’ve had a couple of delays when running into unexpected issues, causing us to increase the scope and add things we didn’t think about initially. However, these delays have been caused largely because the original scope ended up being a lot more comprehensive than expected. Still, the end result has also been a lot better than originally imagined.

As for communication, Noorix has always been very clear. We typically have weekly Zoom meetings to catch up. I also have access to Figma to see designs and another tool for issue tracking.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Noorix’s level of care is impressive. They’ve also been very good at challenging my ideas and being very thorough about how everything would work during the planning stages. They’ve really understood the project and our potential limitations, allowing them to find workarounds for different challenges or hurdles.

Moreover, Noorix is really invested in the product. Whenever I suggest something, they come back with potential challenges and alternatives that we might face rather than simply doing what I tell them to do. Their team always brings new ideas to the table, and their communication is excellent.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything Noorix could improve on. This is the first time I’ve worked on a web app development project, and I can’t see anything they could do better.

The customer initially provided us with a rough sketch of what they were expecting that was created with a PowerPoint document. Noorix helped us with the wireframes and the UI/UX design, and our customer approved that. Noorix was part of the exercise as well.

From their side, there were a couple of developers, but we were in contact with one person who managed the team.

It was through networking; I’d known about them for some time, but never had an opportunity to work with them before.

It was a multi-phased project with three phases, all with different pricing. It was between $60,000–$100,000 AUD (approximately $41,000–$68,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them around May 2020. That particular project has wrapped up, but we’ve started another project with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
In the end, if the customer is going to use the product and is happy, we consider that a success. Noorix takes care of that aspect, and when they deliver, the quality of the solution itself is very good. We have very few issues being reported.
How did Noorix Digital Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
I would say they met their deadlines almost every time on the project. We had multiple ways of communicating. We used Google tools and had regular catch-ups on the progress of the project. Mainly, we communicated via Zoom and phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
One thing we're impressed with is the quality they deliver; Noorix goes above and beyond to make sure that the quality, as well as the UI/UX, are good. They also understand what’s required. What the customer is asking could be high-level, but Noorix dives deep and really understands what the customer is asking for. 
Are there any areas they could improve?
That’s a difficult one; I can’t think of anything right now because the project was really well executed and nothing went wrong.

We were looking for an AWS certified technology partner that could build a secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient infrastructure for our applications and workloads, based on five pillars — operational excellence, security, reliability, performance efficiency, and cost optimization.

They allocated enough time to understand our AWS upgrade project and communicate their project plan and delivery phases with us.

During our communication, they assessed our existing AWS architecture and consulted us with an upgraded version of required AWS resources that could accommodate our future application loads.

For example, they recommended:

a different EC2 instance family to increase our application speed
	creating a load balancer to distribute our global loads between AWS resources

When you are a start up, you rely on your online and social media presence for your growth. Hence i needed a company who can help me set up my website, design my logo, recommend me online marketing strategies and recommend me a good email platform.

Noorix Digital Solutions took care of all my requirements. They understood what my brand stood for, who my target market was and accordingly came up with themes, logos and the layout. They were extremely responsive, patient, creative and knew what the latest trends were in the market.

With my non-technical background, they ensured i understood the technical aspect of hosting, website maintenance and email setup.

They were very passionate, professional and understood how small business works. They recommended many cost-saving strategies to minimize my initial investment. They were vested in my success and went above and beyond. The thing that stood out was the level of customer service. I was faced with an IT issue late in the night. Murtaza logged in and helped me fix my problem.

We are a nonprofit community organization. We provide services (food and cloth drive etc) to the community I am secretary of the trust.

We wanted to develop mobile application for the customer who can choose our services easily. We also had need for a web portal for our back office staff to manage the offered services and get reports of services taken by the customers.

The solution is fully hosted on AWS with serverless architecture. Mobile App and web interface were designed as per the requirement to support mobile, tablet, and computer-based UI. Noorix provided the project plan, low/high-level design documents, support documents, testing plan, cases, and execution reports.

Project manager, UIX design, and technical lead directly facing us. They had some other resources working in the background which were transparent to us

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We are very happy with the quality of work Noorix provided to us. Documentation was simple yet detailed to cover all aspects. Help us to choose the right platform and technologies to meet our requirements but also be financially viable.

The best thing about Noorix was prompt and efficient communication. Emailing was the most effective way, but we have regular online meetings throughout the project. We found them very approachable and professional in the communication. All the artefacts and solution were delivered on time without compromising on the quality.

Their skills and experience in developing function rich but simple UI. Their UI/UX team is amazing and very atheistic, which exceeded our expectations.

Tip Sheet is a classic start-up SaaS product that strives to solve challenges faced by hospitality venues when it comes to managing tips.
Most hospitality venues use spreadsheets or some form of manual process to allocate tips. There is a lot of manual reconciliation, such POS sales, cash tips, who worked when and depending on which department and their tip points, what does each staff get. Tip Sheet aims to solve this by a great deal of automation and simplicity.
The critical aspect of this project was doing integrations with multiple POS systems, Time and Attendance providers and consolidating data to show a real-time transactional system. As simple as it looked, its possibly the most advanced product we ever produced due to the complexity of integrations and complex scalable architecture.

### Food Delivery RSVP for NFP
The App was developed for the Bohra community in Australia which manages an RSVP of weekly community food packets.
Previously, the users were RSVP ad hoc basic on Google Sheets and feedback collection was very manual. The App has streamlined the entire process and provided great new features such as push notifications, instant menu visibility, and real-time RSVP updates.
The backend allows comprehensive dashboards, member management, notification preferences, and broadcasts amongst others.
