I’m an associate professor and the president of the Center for Hellenic Music and Culture. We’re a nonprofit foundation devoted to the preservation, promotion, and dissemination of the artistic and cultural achievements of Hellenic music, dance, poetry, and heritage, spanning from antiquity to the present day.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NO IDEA Graphic Design has been responsible for the complete visual and interface design of the Digital Audiovisual Folk Music Archive of Amorgos and its Islands website. Their work has shaped the overall look, organization, and UX of the site, translating the archival and scholarly concept of the project into a clean and certain digital environment.

The scope of their work has included the overall visual concept and design language of the website; page layouts and templates; typography, color palette, and graphic elements; the design and organization of navigation and menus; the presentation of photographs, audiovisual material, texts, biographies, and other archival content; and the visual structure of the Greek- and English-language versions of the site. They’ve also worked to ensure that the different types of archival material are presented in a consistent, accessible, and visually engaging way.

In short, NO IDEA Graphic Design has developed the entire visual identity and user-facing design of the website, establishing the aesthetic and structural framework through which visitors experience and navigate the archive.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The clearest measurable outcomes have been the successful completion and launch of a fully designed, bilingual digital archive, together with the creation of a visual and structural system that can support a large and continuously expanding body of material.

More specifically, NO IDEA Graphic Design’s work has resulted in a complete and certain website interface for both the Greek- and English-language versions of the archive; a unified design system applied across the site’s major sections; clear navigation among different categories of archival material; and effective presentation of photographs, audiovisual recordings, texts, biographies, and other documentation. Just as importantly, the design has created a flexible framework that has allowed us to continue adding substantial new content without having to redesign the website each time.

The project’s success can therefore be measured not only by the completion and public launch of the website but also by its continued functionality as a growing research and cultural resource. The platform remains actively used and expanded, demonstrating that the original design was both aesthetically successful and structurally sustainable. The website has more than 2,000 visitors per month.

NO IDEA developed the complete packaging design system. The work included the visual direction, front and back label design, neck label, typography, colour and graphic elements, custom die-cut specifications, gold foil and embossing details, as well as the design of the transport carton and the layout of the required product information.

We did not track sales metrics directly. Success was measured by the completion of a cohesive packaging system across all required components, with custom die-cuts, gold foil, embossing and all necessary product and regulatory information integrated.
