We started by checking what requirements our game needed and completed a detailed technical planning step. After that, a microservices architecture was designed and set up on a hybrid cloud using Kubernetes to handle container deployment. To help with the game, they developed a number of APIs for matchmaking, maintaining sessions, messaging, handling on-site items and live data reporting. Auto-scaling rules were put in place to help with player traffic when the game was running special events or chosen for promotions.

We needed the solution to provide security and efficiency, so NIPSAPP managed all the load balancing, rate limiting and data encryption on its own. The team created a CI/CD pipeline so our internal team can make updates and manage rollbacks easily, without much manual work. The main results involved a documented API gateway, a secure mechanism for authenticating players, automatic scaling systems, monitoring dashboards, a setup for testing and a staging area for connecting new code.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They were able to offer a smooth multiplayer game thanks to the backend developed by NIPSAPP. We managed to handle unexpected traffic spikes without instability during our soft launch. There has been no downtime noted and websites responded within normal limits in all areas. Most notably, our developers were able to grow the system easily, so improving gameplay and holding events did not require much backend work.

Much of the increased retention was from the dependable and fast backend thanks to its low-latency handling of games. Thanks to the way NIPSAPP built their app using APIs, it’s been very straightforward for us to implement analytics and monetization after launch.

The work involved was ambitious and all aspects were carried out successfully. We started the project by fine-tuning the concept, consulting our design team to organize user actions, game system rules and suitability for each hardware platform. They then shifted to prototyping, developing important modules for AR and VR to assess the applications’ reactions, look of the environment and the wait period between them and the player. When the prototype was approved, the work shifted to environment creation, physical simulations, animating characters and making custom shaders. A big part of what they did was to make sure users had a smooth experience with Oculus, HTC Vive, ARKit and ARCore.

The main deliverables were an AR/VR game, a platform for updating the project regularly, integration for multiplayer action and gesture/voice control and a tool for viewing user behavior and the game’s performance in real time. They handed over complete documentation that allowed our internal teams to move the project ahead and offer support to users after launch.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

What was produced was better than what was planned on several counts. The beta release brought a week where early players sent plenty of positive reviews, focused on how easily they could learn and how engrossing the level designs were. Internal KPIs such as how long the sessions lasted, the number of returning users and the amount spent in the game, all increased compared to the last ones we released. It is particularly notable that the system performed well on any platform, with few reported bugs on less powerful devices.

Afterward, they devised a detailed plan to build a personalized software platform that would work well with our electronic health records (EHR) system. Among its many features was the program sending messages to patients who had upcoming appointments, automatic updates of patient records, identifying those at risk using predictive analytics and offering a safe way for patients to access their medical records.

My company saw important changes because of the successful project. We could handle and review patient data much better after the new platform was introduced. Experts found that using the tools made it easier to spot patients who might require more care in the near future. During development of what we will term the base phase we saw NIPSAPP run a very in depth discovery phase which we as a internal team took part in via workshops to which we went in to the fundamental game play elements and identified what areas of the game would see the best results from AI. For NPC behavior we saw them develop very complex algorithms which had the character react in real time to player action and environmental changes. This added a variable element and realism that greatly improved the game experience.

Also in this phase we saw the introduction of AI based analytics tools which tracked player action, what play styles they had, and their level of engagement. From this data we got in game experiences tailored to the player, things like variable difficulty and recommended content. Also they did a great job at making sure the AI systems ran smooth even during the heaviest action in the game.

Main deliverables were functional AI based NPC models, an analytics dashboard for us to use which reported back player data, and in depth documentation which went over how all the features fit into the whole game. Also we had training sessions to which we sent our team to so that we may take over and improve upon what they put in place.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The results of the project were very positive for our company. At which point within a few weeks of rolling out our improved game which also included AI elements we saw that players were engaging and returning in larger numbers. Also we noted that players’ response to the AI which made NPCs very life like which in turn made the game present a more challenging and rewarding experience. Also we saw that the AI which created personal in game experiences for each player which did an excellent job at catering to individual player’s preferences.
From a business stand point that was very large scale. We did what we set out to do which was grow our audience and we did so in a big way. Also we saw an increase in in game purchases and subscriptions. Players were spending more time in the game checking out the new features which in turn gave us more revenue. That project’s success positioned us as innovators in the gaming space which in turn opened up partnership and collaboration opportunities we didn’t have before.

NIPSAPP did very well in terms of project management through out the collaboration. We saw strict adherence to timelines, in many cases they met and exceeded our milestone marks. In the face of issues like that of which we had to balance AI performance with frame rate they put forward and discussed open and transparently which we in turn presented our input and they came up with creative solutions to keep the project moving forward. In terms of response to our requirements which were sometimes last minute or in great detail they exceeded what was asked of them; from fine tuning a feature based on our input to running in depth training sessions for our team on the new systems, they went the extra mile to see that we were fully satisfied.

They eventually produced a series of prototypes, which included potential features like touch-based controls, simplified menus and abilities to share socially. Approved prototypes went in full scale development, where high quality graphics optimized for devices were created and as well, interactive elements were coded and the smoothest possible cross-platform compatibility was guaranteed.

One of the things that particularly impressed me of their service was the performance optimization. They enabled things like fast loading times and high FPS count, so that the game would perform excellently even on the middle class devices. And they implemented bleeding-edge capabilities such as instant multiplayer game creation, push notifications for promotions and the highest level of in-app payment security. Key outcomes: A working mobile application for iOS and Android devices, description of all features with full-blown documentation, scalable backend architecture for real-time communication.

During the inception of the project we did an in depth discovery phase which NIPSAPP spent time with our internal team to get to the core of what made our game tick and to also identify what elements of AR/VR we could play with. 
From that, we developed prototypes that proposed ideas like interactive VR environments and location-based AR challenges that players could access using their phones. 
Once the prototypes were given the go-ahead, we moved into full-scale development, which saw the creation of high-quality 3D assets, the coding of interactive elements, and the working to achieve smooth cross-platform play. Also, we paid close attention to user feedback, which we incorporated into refining gameplay elements, and we worked out and resolved any tech issues that came up. 
We delivered a fully functional VR mode for the PC and console versions of the game, an AR app for mobile devices that players could download, and in-depth documents explaining how each feature fit into the whole game system.

The software maintained a locked 60 FPS frame rate, ensuring fluid animation and responsiveness that vastly outperformed the legacy solution. The implementation of lossless zoom allowed visitors to read fine text on historical docents at max magnification without pixelation. All 3D assets and reconstructed scenes passed 100% of the historical accuracy checks conducted by museum curators. The deployed solution demonstrated zero downtime during stress testing and seamless integration with our existing audiovisual control systems.We noticed a significant increase in the time children spent at the stations. 
The improved visual fidelity and responsive zoom encouraged visitors to explore the content in depth rather than just glancing at it. Since the upgrade, technical support requests for these specific stations dropped to zero.
