The work that unfolded was almost like watching a film being made in reverse.
We began with sketches and conversations about how a guest might stumble upon a digital portal in their living room, or how a child might meet a beloved character while sitting on their couch. From there, NipsApp built an evolving VR environment where guests could wander through recognizable spaces from our attractions the kind of wandering that doesn’t require instructions, because the world itself does the guiding.

They developed a VR exploration hub that acted like a soft introduction to some of our most iconic worlds. Guests could open doors, break through vines, step into dim corridors, or stand on cliff edges that overlooked digital versions of our rides.

The AR portion played a different role it brought characters and environments into the guest’s physical world. A minion popping out from behind a kitchen table, a dinosaur pressing its snout curiously against a hotel window, sparks flying when a guest traced their phone across a wall.

Deliverables were not just assets or scenes they were moments. Interactive hubs. Responsive environments. Characters that remembered choices. NipsApp handed us an ecosystem where every piece felt like it belonged to a larger story.

For translation, the team worked across our full tech stack our Express.js backend, React.js web frontend, and Expo-based mobile app. They integrated Google Translate for general, everyday languages and OpenAI for more context-sensitive translations. The voice note translation was particularly complex, involving speech-to-text, translation, and then text-to-speech output. This required precision and deep technical skill, and they handled it impressively.
The offline capability was another major component. The team implemented CRDTs (Conflict-free Replicated Data Types), which allowed our field teams to continue working without an internet connection and automatically sync their changes once they're back online. They also managed local storage, caching, and overall data handling to make the offline experience seamless.
