I'm an investor in and software development advisor to Vinifynd, an online and mobile wine retail and delivery business.

How did you select Ninjas Code and what were the deciding factors?

I discovered Ninjas Code while looking for a rapidly deployable mobile app template. Their inventory of well designed, ready-made, and fully customizable apps caught my eye. The apps are cross platform using React Native and Expo. After speaking with their team about their capabilities, we chose Ninjas Code.

We started with their food delivery app template with fully functioning back-end. After initial deployment on Digital Ocean and MongoDb, we set about customizing the app to meet our specific needs. Some of the additions we made included adding, Push notifications, Stripe and Paypal integration - Location services and geo fencing Plus, extensive design work.

After a successful launch of the app, we asked Ninjas Code to build us a custom website that mirrors the functionality of the app.

We worked with 4 people from Ninjas Code: - 3 Senior Developers, one of which is the founder - and, 1 Designer

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Ninjas Code built both a custom mobile and a website for us. They've been easy to work with and very responsive. As a result, we were able to launch Vinifynd 2 months earlier than we had anticipated.

I really appreciated how responsive their team has been. We exclusively used slack to communicate through a dedicated channel. Although their team is overseas, I was always able to get a rapid response to any questions or new development requests.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The impressive element of this company is the stability of great, fully-functioning app templates that allow fledgling companies to go to market at much greater speed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I've really enjoyed working with Ninjas Code. I've outsourced many development projects, but none have gone as smoothly as Vinifynd. Thanks, Ninjas Code!

I am the CTO of a Techstars startup in the ecommerce industry. The company was building the MVP of a two sided marketplace mobile app for Demo day.

Ninjas Code helped build the mobile application from start to finish. Two of their developers worked on both the frontend and the backend of the mobile app.

What were your goals for this project?

The company wanted to build a functional MVP with sign up, payments, social media aspects and more in two months.

How did you select this vendor?

The company was focused on looking for developers with previous experience working on ecommerce applications. Ninjas showed a wide array of previous quality ecommernce projects they worked on as well as showed an eagerness to work.

Describe the project in detail.

We supplied the mockups. They were happy to accommodate our specific workflow and worked well with the company's backend engineer. Not only were they successful in using technologies they were familiar with such as React Native, but they were eager to learn new technologies like Vue.js, or integrate unfamiliar APIs like Intercom.

What was the team composition?

In the end, it was two front-end engineers, a backend engineer, designer and product manager. It was very easy to ask Ninjas Code to help hire additional help whenever the company needed.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

After 45 days, the company had a functional MVP that was uploaded to the app store and was shown on demo day for Techstars Atlanta. In a month, there were ~150 users of the application.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They work on the US work hours which makes it very easy to communicate frequently for standup or retrospective. They were very proficient with the company workflow using slack and pivotal tracker.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They had great communication, adaptability, and open-mindedness. Very important traits required when working with a startup. They also are really invested in the projects they work on and are very self-motivated.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They currently do not have a designer. It would be interesting to see if a Ninas Code designer would help reduce the bottleneck that could be caused by a lack of designs.

We bought the Enatega Multivendor template to use it as a boilerplate, to start our MVP, instead of starting from scratch.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The documentation and response from Sharan was really good, this was the key factor for us.

We had a couple of meetings before deciding on buying the product, after we bought it we got access to their github repos and a slack channel to ask any questions we had.

We worked with Sharan which is the tech lead, and a couple of developers.

We are still working in our MVP, we didnt launch, but Im sure we made the right decision when we hired them because it saved us a lot of time.

Communication is great. They are always available to talk and help you with any problem or question you might have.

Documentation and organization of their team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We found some code duplication among the projects, but nothing too major, it is a complex project with 6 different repos, so we were expecting this kind of things.

They were excellent in fulfilling the requirements of developing a mobile on-demand beauty salon platform. They efficiently delivered a functional react native application and website that was fully integrated. I would definitely use them again in the future.

We required an android and iOS application and website that allowed users to schedule and order a salon service to their residence.

We searched online and found them through an article on medium and connected via LinkedIn.
