An import and export company hired The NineHertz to develop their e-commerce website. They created a task force of developers and designers to execute the project after issues were raised.
Despite an initial poor experience with The NineHertz, the client planned a beta launch of the product. The NineHertz's efforts positively impacted the client's business. Their team handled the project professionally, ensuring their project manager communicated progress clearly through WhatsApp.

BACKGROUND
Introduce your business and what you do there.
My name is Nuno Vungo, I am the co-founder and CEO of Global One Route, LLC a California based import & export company. In an attempt to expand our company’s portfolio, Global One Route has decided to launch an e-commerce platform with the brand name Freshcart. Freshcart as it stands now is an online grocery delivery platform created to serve the Angolan & Portuguese market.
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
What challenge were you trying to address with The NineHertz?
As I mentioned on my earlier review, I was having multiple issues including, deliverables & communication issues with the project manager at Ninehertz and everything seemed to be going bad. However, I am happy and glad to say that after my review, I was contacted by Ninehertz CEO Mr. Narendra and the company’s delivery manager Mr. Devraj.
Both Devraj and Narendra expressed that they wanted to make it right. And soon after they contacted me, they created a task force of dedicated developers and designers to work on my project; and within 60 days, these team under the leadership of Devraj did an outstanding job.
SOLUTION
What was the scope of their involvement?
Both Devraj and Narendra’s and the dedicated team were full available and emerged into the project. In addition to email communication, we communicated via the WhatsApp most of the time. We also created a google spreadsheet to track the tasks. So, they were fully involved.
What is the team dynamic?
We had a very dynamic communication between their team and mine. Ninehertz developers were quick to fix the issues we pointed out and Devraj was on top it.
How did you come to work with The NineHertz?
I came to work with Ninehertz in May 2020. I found the company via a google search of the best Website & Mobile App developers.
How much have you invested with them?
I have invested over $32,000.00 on this project.
What is the status of this engagement?
During the past 60 plus days, the engagement was dynamic and very responsive. I would even go further to say extraordinary.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?
My relationship with Ninehertz, went from trust to lost of trust to trust them again. I am back to trust them again because they within these 60 plus days Devraj and his team have truly put the work. They’ve worked on my project as he and Narendra the CEO said they would. They fixed the major issues; and currently they are still fixing the emails receipt format. So, I am glad to see that so far, they have held to their words.
How did The NineHertz address the challenges that arose?
As soon as I was contacted by both Narendra and Devraj, they had set/created a WhatsApp group so that we could communicate and address all the issues, in particular urgent ones. They have also put on our project a task group of dedicated developers and designers who have been working on the project with dedication.
Describe the impact this engagement has had on your business.
We have not yet done the beta launch yet, since we still fixing minor issues such as the email receipt format, but I can now say that for the past 60 plus days this current engagement has had a positive impact on my business. Devraj has even offered SEO marketing optimization suggestions.
How was project management handled?
This time, it was handled well and professionally. I did not have to deal with the previous project manager. This time, Devraj was the project manager I can attest that he did well. He communicates and shows interest and understanding throughout the past 60 plus days.
Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?
Oh yes, Devraj’s leadership and communication skills served well. He was very communicative, detailed, professional, and compassionate to our project and cause. I think it’s important to have such honest, professional and communicative project manager who shows sympathy to the project.
In what specific areas can they improve?
I think finding project managers that put themselves on the shoes of their clients, respect partners time, and managers that communicate well.
What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
I think you should go with the dedicated team, ask to speak to Narendra the CEO and Devraj. Create a rapport with them and also be on top of your project.

Project Summary
An import and export company hired The NineHertz to create an interactive website and mobile app. They used PHP to build the platform. They initially offered a white-label website.
Feedback Summary
The client ended up paying over $32,000 for a failed service. They stepped away soon after they started the project, and shortly after, they made mistakes over and over again. Most of all, the team lacked professionalism, integrity, and respect for the whole project.
BACKGROUND
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the CEO of an Import & Export company based in California
OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire The NineHertz, and what were your goals?
We wanted to create a user-friendly website and mobile app for groceries stores. Our goal was to create an interactive website and mobile apps platform that allow users to shop and have their product delivered to them without the hassle on heading to the store.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We researched online and their pop on the google search engine. We then inquired and spoke to them. The give us a cost for the project that at the time seemed reasonable and within our budget.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a series of meeting with them that took place every monday night for us in the USA and Tuesday Mornings for them in India. We started working with them on the website first which was been developed using the PHP language. The first, they were offering us a white label website, but we had a vision and new what we wanted, so asked them to develop the website and applications for us from the ground up. So, we shared the designs with them. Let me say that the mobile apps were develop using the react native language.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We started with the first project manager that was assigned to our project (she was good) & one back end developer even though they said to us at the beginning there were 9 people working our project. Then they swiped the project manager a year+ later with someone else (this person was horrible), then they switched again with another project manager (this one was more focused on getting money from us).
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We worked with them for 2 years and 6 months on a project that was promised and supposed to be delivered within 6 months to one year. They kept on running schemes on us. The communication went from bad to worst. We paid them in full for the project in hoping that we would receive something practical and workable; to our surprise, we received a prototype full of bags, nothing works, with codes that static in some areas and not in other. Our mistake was not to force them to use our environment server and trusting on what they were showing to us from their demo server. It was a completely scheme and deceit. Nothing works, we paid them over $32,000.00 on a project that does not work.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The project manager that started to work with us on the website, seemed very pronto and willing to help us, but abruptly she stepped away from our project. Then they put a person that was not at professional, that kept lying to us, did not delivery what he promised on time whatsoever; then the last project manager, was more focused on getting invoice paid before any milestone was completed. He lied a lot, took his time to reply to our emails and Skype msgs. Only when we copied this company director to the emails that is when he would reply to us.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Nothing!!! Perhaps, how deceiving and able to misrepresent their capabilities and abilities to do the work. Maybe their turnovers, it's ability to hire what seems like dev freelancers to work on the projects. We believe that's what exactly happened to us, everyone that the brought in to work on our project, including the project manager, seemed to have his/her team. And each team brought or created a hard code to the point when they would make a change somewhere it would screw up something else. The same mistakes were happening over an over again. We kept explaining the project over and over to this new person. This company has no quality, integrity, and respect to peoples money and obejectives whatsoever, and they lack professionalism.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Yes, they should stop overselling themselves, lying that they can do what they cannot do whatsoever. They should stop promising and stop deceiving companies like mine. Don't fall on their trap like we did. We lost money on them. We paid for a car and thought we are going to get one, but we received a scooter that does not work. Please avoid our mistake, do not trust their google reviews..., do your due-diligence very carefully, and do not allow them to have your project on their demo server. Also, do not pay them right way without checking in details (in your environment server) what they did.
STAR RATINGS
Overall rating: 0.5 If I could give them a negative star, it would be (-10)
Quality: 0.5 If I could give them (-10) stars I would!
Cost: 0.5 It went from $10,000 to over $32,000 for a project that does not work. Pure scam
Schedule: 1 One star because of Anamika, she seemed like she wanted our project done.
Willing to refer: 0.5 Not at all! I would not even suggested this company to a person I don't like. It would be immoral.
