We are experienced with CMS platforms such as Wordpress, Shopify and SquareSpace. We offer a strong technical expertise and a collaborative approach and disciplined project management approach with an emphasis on managing complex data sources and integrating APIs.

• We have worked with NextGen Invent for over 20 years, to act as our technology development partner on multiple projects
• Design and development of mobile application which integrates with an external API to provide pricing for precious metals, including gold, silver, platinum, and palladium. This allows the pricing for precious metals to be continually updated based on market pricing at the London Metals Exchange.
• Allow app users to select and convert from multiple units of weight including troy oz., grams, and pennyweight.
• Develop mobile apps for both iOS and Android platforms

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

NextGen Invent handled the following tasks:

• Relocation of the web assets and databases to a Microsoft Azure cloud server.
• Create a new API which is used to provide constantly changing precious metals pricing in the right format so that it can be accessed by the mobile apps. This is accomplished by first connecting to third-party API maintained by another vendor to get updated pricing information from the London Metals Exchange (LME)
• Create custom programming code to handle calculations for converting between various units of weight, including troy oz., grams, and pennyweight.
• Starting with UX designs provided by Catapult Media and making them work inside mobile phone and iPhone and tablet screens of various sizes, ensuring the designs adjust to various screen dimensions.
• Limit the cost of accessing the third-party API by interacting with various database tables in the Azure cloud server, to store data, and constantly update values in the custom-coded API which was written by NextGen Invent.
