NewAgeSMB has delivered a solid application that meets our requirements. The team delivers high-quality work and is good at explaining technical needs. NewAgeSMB is very helpful and easy to work with, addressing all the necessary work to meet their client's needs. 

How did NewAgeSMB perform from a project management standpoint?

I have hour-long business meetings every couple of days with NewAgeSMB. The team accommodates to my schedule since we're based in different countries and we have a big time difference. NewAgeSMB has been clear since the beginning of the project about the budget and communicating which functionalities would increase the budget. The team is very transparent regarding money and has stayed really close to the original proposal. 

NewAgeSMB meets deadlines, and some deliveries have taken longer when I've asked for changes, but the team is always close to deadlines. The team has delivered our app in around six months. We communicate mainly via Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

NewAgeSMB has delivered exactly what they promised. The team is clear and honest, and I've never felt left in the dark about my project.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We've had communication barriers at times, but NewAgeSMB is good at explaining things to me when I get frustrated or don't understand the project completely.

The app that NewAgeSMB has created works very well and has many videos online of doctors talking about it. Every deliverable from NewAgeSMB's team exceeds our expectations, has top-notch quality, and is up there with the big platforms — I'm very happy with the results.

How did NewAgeSMB perform from a project management standpoint?

NewAgeSMB's team is smooth, punctual with deadlines, very comprehensive, flexible with requests, responsive to addressing bugs, and upfront with what we need. We also have weekly meetings, and they regularly send me documents for milestones, the timeline of events, and payments. I like the system we have for communication because I don't get distracted from my work tasks.

Regarding tools and communication, we use email and weekly meetings.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review? 

Everyone in NewAgeSMB's team is great, but the project manager NewAgeSMB assigned us is excellent and receptive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

NewAgeSMB has great pricing compared to other developers while giving the complete package, including design, concept, and coding. In addition, they've helped set up different accounts for the servers, App Store, and Google Play. Overall, they've made the process very easy and educational.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

NewAgeSMB will give you whatever you ask from them, so don't assume that something is going to be there and tell them what you're looking for in your product. The team will offer suggestions, but if there's something specific you want, you need to let them know in detail. Otherwise, further iterations will cost you extra money.

In addition to that, they offered maintenance services for the system.

Regarding features, we needed a one-stop-shop customer service model for our employees to track customer quotes and review what truck and driver we assigned for each task. This platform was made to function in Android and iOS.

The platforms that NewAgeSMB delivered improved our process time — each task started to take us five minutes to complete instead of the 15 minutes it used to take us. In addition, the system allowed us to search reporting and data information quickly. Overall, the quality of their work met our expectations.

How did NewAgeSMB perform from a project management standpoint?

NewAgeSMB delivered on time and budget. Regarding tools, we used Google Sheets to keep track of the project's progress.

We use Google Workspace for project management and Zoom to host meetings. NewAgeSMB works within deadlines and budget. We use phone calls, emails, and text messages to communicate with their team.

NewAgeSMB is communicative, and we’ve had no issues with anything they’ve done. We’ve been impressed with our team overall and their development skills.

In the beginning, I was a bit apprehensive about working with a company overseas. I had thought their offices were in New Jersey. Their team made up for that with their high-quality work and conversations.

We have regular monthly phone calls to talk about any upgrades we have coming up. They’re always able to answer my questions in a timely manner. The time zone difference had no impact.

Their work ethic is unbelievable.

Their QA process could improve. They should test their product before giving it to their customers. That would be my only complaint.

Clients can trust their project in their hands. They make sure to deliver a plan that meets expectations. I’m not a technical person and had questions. They were able to help with that. Customers should definitely go with them.

What was the scope of their involvement?

NewAgeSysIT helped us bring our mobile application for iOS and Android to life. We initially discussed our notes, what we had in mind, and what we wanted the app to do. The only documentation we provided was the app logo.

Additionally, they created a website so people could read the terms and conditions and private policy, so the site was associated with the app.

What is the team composition?

We had contact with a client account manager, a project manager, and a senior business coordinator. They also had people working on the backend, but we were mainly in contact with those three people.

How did you come to work with NewAgeSysIT?

I found them online and looked up reviews. I spoke to different companies, and NewAgeSysIT was the most welcoming. The client account manager immediately answered every question I had about the NDA and their services and was very present. He followed up with me, and they gave me a good breakdown of how they’d provide the service and how they’d help us.

What is the status of this engagement?

We first contacted them in January 2024 and met with the project manager a week later. NewAgeSysIT finished the Android side around June 26th, 2024. We’re pretty much done with the project; they’re ready to publish everything, but we have to do one more thing with the iOS platform.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

So far, we’ve tested the app and downloaded the beta version, and it looks like it’ll work as expected. We haven’t launched the app yet. NewAgeSysIT asked us if we wanted to go ahead with the Android version, but we told them we wanted to launch both at the same time. When we hear back from Apple about the issue we’re having, we’ll launch them.

How did NewAgeSysIT perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered everything on time, and the budget was more reasonable than other providers I researched. Our timeframe to complete the app was 4–6 months, and they did it.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Jinson (Project Manager) was very patient and understanding. If we had to reschedule a meeting, he was pleasant and worked with our schedule. He was also great at keeping us updated on the project’s progress; it was a pleasure to work with him.

Additionally, the senior business coordinator was a big part of the build. She gave us suggestions and let us know what would work, so both played a significant role in developing the app.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were always on time for our scheduled meetings and courteous when we needed to reschedule. Moreover, NewAgeSysIT was understanding, and their prices were very reasonable.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they were pleasant to work with.

Provide as much information as possible about how you want the app to work. If possible, request to work with Jinson or the client success manager; I had a fantastic experience with them.

I’m the owner and founder of Bungee, a referral system tied to an app. We offer referrals to businesses looking to gain new customers, but we’re also a tool that can help businesses do their own recruiting.

What challenge were you trying to address with NewAgeSysIT?

We didn’t know how the app would work because our system did everything from hiring to getting new customers and allowing people to make their own income. The challenge was to make it all happen and explain to people what we had because the platform did many different things.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

NewAgeSysIT’s main task is to find a way to tie everything together within the app to track it all. Working with their team, they’ve built the app, advised us on the system, and helped us with the process.

Initially, we mapped out how the app would work on paper and sent it. Then, we showed them a video of the concept. Once NewAgeSysIT understood the idea, they were able to put it all together. As we built the app, more ideas came up, so we added more features.

The app allows users to supplement their income by making referrals, so it’s like a ride-sharing app where anybody with a car can become a cab driver. In our case, anybody with a phone can become a Bungee, make referrals, and earn an income.

One main person set us up with the development team. From there, we’ve mostly worked with two people on development. Additionally, they bring more people in if we have a new idea.

How did you come to work with NewAgeSysIT?

I found them online while looking for developers. They were based in New Jersey, and I thought it’d be good to work with an American company, even if the developers were in India.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $130,000, which is a fair price. NewAgeSysIT has done many things for us without charge. They knew we were trying to raise money, which was difficult while getting this done, so they’ve helped us.

What is the status of this engagement?

We hired them in December 2021. Halfway through building the project, we had to completely change some things, which set us back a whole year.

We just finished the app and are now testing it. Afterward, we’ll enter a contract so NewAgeSysIT services us monthly. We’ll add many things to the product and continue working with them.

The app has come up better than we thought it would thanks to the care NewAgeSysIT has put into it. They understand the project, which helps make it flow better. We now have a better product than expected, and it’s live now on the Apple and Android stores.

We’re currently getting ready to launch the app inside some large companies. Once we’re in those companies, it’ll spread quickly.

How did NewAgeSysIT perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re always on time, and communication is excellent. Also, they’re always able to adjust.

The two teammates we talk to every week are outstanding. Nothing is ever a clear, easy path, so we always have to work it out. However, they come up with so many ideas to facilitate development instead of us telling them how it has to be done. They help us figure out what to do.

What did you find most impressive about them?

NewAgeSysIT has shown us how to get things done. The best part of working with them is the collaboration.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’ve been happy. It’s my first experience building an app, so I don’t know if we could’ve done anything differently.

Be very clear about what you’re looking for. Don’t try to tell them how to do something; just tell them what you want. They’ll come up with a way of getting it done, and then you work together.

We discussed all that before we went into the building stage.

They’ve designed the app from the get-go. The mobile application is for iOS and Android. Currently, we’re going into the marketing stage. NewAgeSys IT is doing development and marketing. At first, they weren’t doing marketing, but they’ll start in the next week.

Everything has been great so far. NewAgeSys IT is very understanding, and we have no problems with them.

How did NewAgeSys IT perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management has been good; we have no problems there. They’ve delivered everything on time. If we need something, we talk to them. They usually get back or get it done within a week.

We have meetings most of the time, and they’re very friendly. We don’t work in the same time zone; they’re 11–12 hours behind us. However, we work together to make meetings work. Sometimes we’re up early in the morning, and sometimes they’re up early.

Jinson (Project Manager) is the main guy we’ve been dealing with.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Everything looks good. I’ve actually noticed that they’re getting better. NewAgeSys IT has hired more people, so their response time has gotten faster. They have more professional employees now, so they’re better than when we started.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there isn’t anything to improve at this point. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

First, go over what you want with them and discuss the plan and procedure from there. NewAgeSys IT usually has no problem with anything we suggest; they can do almost anything. Tell them precisely what you want, and they’ll do it for you.

I’m the founder and CEO of a mobile app where businesses and their clients can get services like roadside assistance and motor vehicle transportation, locally and between states. We will subcontract over 100,000 service providers for the app. Our company is in the process of entering an accelerator program.

What challenge were you trying to address with NewAgeSys IT?

We hired them to develop our mobile app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

NewAgeSys IT has developed our Android and iOS mobile app’s MVP from scratch based on my initial idea. The team has led a testing phase with some associated drivers who will work with us.

Initially, the platform was going to be primarily for logistics, with roadside assistance as a secondary service. Since then, we’ve pivoted and decided the app will mainly be for roadside assistance, which is a bigger market, with vehicle transportation as a secondary service. Therefore, NewAgeSys IT is still working on making the needed modifications. Their tasks include redesigning the UI to accommodate the changes.

Some parts of the app will be bilingual, while others will only be in English. NewAgeSys IT is adding action buttons to ensure an easy user flow and avoid friction due to the different languages. 

What is the team composition?

We work with a project manager, a software engineer, and Sandra (IT Business Coordinator). I’ve had no contact with the rest of the team.

How did you come to work with NewAgeSys IT?

I searched the Internet for mobile app developers and contacted them to discuss my project and get a budget. When looking for a company to hire, I found challenges like a company that wanted me to cut them a $70,000 check to start working. In 2019, I hired a company in Canada and paid them to start working on the project. The deal was too good to be true, and I ended up being scammed. 

Then, we fund Clutch and read company reviews there. We contacted companies from Clutch and got in touch with a project manager from NewAgeSys IT. I told them about my negative experience and that I wasn’t willing to pay for an uncertain product up front. NewAgeSys IT offered to charge me as they delivered milestones. For me, finding NewAgeSys IT on Clutch was essential. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our success metric is that we have the app; we've tested it, and it works. During the testing phase, our associate drivers could perform the appropriate tasks with the app. Therefore, NewAgeSys IT has covered our requirements during the app’s development. 

We haven’t launched the app yet; we’re waiting for the product to be finished so that we can provide a user-friendly experience and a better UI. Our app has a good quality compared to other products, proportional to what we paid for the project. Overall, we’re very happy with the MVP’s quality, although we think it can be improved and are working on improving it.

How did NewAgeSys IT perform from a project management standpoint?

NewAgeSys IT has been very professional regarding project management. Throughout the development period, we had a weekly meeting where the team sent us APK files so we could test the milestones they delivered step by step. 

Since the app isn’t live yet and there’s no urgency to tend to error reports, we currently communicate with NewAgeSys IT through email. After the app’s launch, we’ll implement more direct communication to address immediate issues NewAgeSys IT needs to solve. 

As for the timeline, the project has taken longer than expected due to issues outside of NewAgeSys IT’s control. Although transforming an idea into a product has taken time, we’ll likely have the product we want in 6–7 weeks. Considering these changes and the fact that the contract I signed didn’t cover certain features, NewAgeSys IT has been fair. They’ve always helped and supported us with updates when needed — I’m happy overall. 

Moreover, we’re very thankful to the team for the payment structure they’ve offered us. I don’t have any complaints about  NewAgeSys IT’s project management. 

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

We’ve mostly been in contact with the software engineer, who has been leading the project and working hand in hand with us. While the project manager communicates with me and helps answer my questions, the software engineer has led the development team.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’m most impressed by NewAgeSys IT’s attention to detail. The team has always been willing to accommodate any request. At one point, I had to buy back my company, and NewAgeSys IT fixed issues from a period when other partners were making decisions. NewAgeSys IT has been flexible and understanding about the challenges of bringing an idea to life.

Are there any areas they could improve?

During the initial design phase, I would have liked to be able to follow NewAgeSys IT’s process and actively participate in it, which would have made the project move faster. For example, when our marketing provider redesigned our website, I could follow its design through Figma and ask for changes in real time.

When doing this type of project, it can be hard to look at a 170-page contract and choose screenshots to give feedback on. By seeing the process in real time and havigng various options to choose from, such as different icons, it makes the process easier. Personally, I like to be an active client; I prefer to see things from the beginning rather than returning a deliverable after it’s finished. I’ve already arranged to have this kind of access with NewAgeSys IT’s project manager during the UI design process. 

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Firstly, I recommend having a dialogue with NewAgeSys IT. I had issues with many other companies that asked for 33% of the project’s price, but I negotiated the payment structure with NewAgeSys IT. Therefore, I advise asking for what you need. 

Secondly, I suggest participating interactively in the design process rather than just through email.
