I am the owner of a private equity firm. Our mission is to directly source undervalued institutional quality private investment opportunities and syndicate to investors.

Our website was created by a group with very little experience. We struggled with it both in terms of functionality and design. We hired New Light Digital to revamp it. The goal was to get a fresh, unique design that looked professional and modern.

By doing this, we were hoping to increase our traffic substantially by end of year. Also we wanted to ensure that existing clients and partners saw our website and got reassured that they made the right decision.

We searched for competent web developers who also had a good design eye. We had shortlisted about 4 firms, and eventually chose this vendor based on their past projects, very good eye, and good price-quality ratio.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss goals and expectations. From there, the team delivered the wireframes, design mock-up, and finally the developed site on a test server. We got to provide feedback every step of the way, and the team at New Light Digital went above and beyond to address every one of our needs and any issues we identified were fixed quickly.

We worked with the owner of the agency, Daniel. But I know that there were several people working behind the scenes. All communication was quick and to the point, which was appreciated.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching our site, we saw immediate results. Our organic search traffic has jumped 44% over the previous month, and it has been growing since. Clients and existing partners love the new design, we get compliments all the time, particularly on how much easier it is to navigate and find things on the new site.

We used text and phone calls for all communications. This proved to be very efficient. Even though they are based abroad, it really felt like they were next door. Daniel has an active US phone number, and his English is spotless. So we understood each other very well.

I've particularly enjoyed how responsive they were. In my previous experience, it would take people at least one or two days to hear back from them. With Daniel it was almost instant (the latest we ever heard back from them was the following morning, due to the time difference). Overall, a very good experience.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The problem-solving skills were very impressive. They did not let anything fester, and addressed all issues head-on. This was appreciated, because we didn't have experience in this process, so the extra attention was welcome. They explained everything very clearly, and even jumped on screen-sharing calls to show us how certain things worked with the new website.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had initially thought that SEO was included in the new website design. Daniel has clarified that some minor SEO is included, but that more extensive SEO would need to be done on a monthly basis.

We've actually signed up for it, and are now implementing a small SEO & Content Marketing program. It works well so far, as the content actually allows us to educate potential clients on our services, and provides an SEO boost. We might add social media to the mix in the future as well. We wanted to have a way for clients to easily find us, contact us with any questions, but also find all the information they need in terms of the agriculture products we carry. We also needed an ecommerce solution integrated into our site.

We selected New Light Digital given their level of expertise. Even though they were a bit higher priced than other vendors we looked at, they proved their expertise and experience. They immediately understood what the challenges were, and were able to produce a tangible plan on how to address them.

It was our corporate website. https://elitagrotehnologie.md/ New Light Digital produced a plan on what each page should contain. We went over it and provided feedback which was then implemented into the strategy.

Daniel and his team provided us two rounds of review for the design phase, and another two rounds during the development phase, to iron out any remaining issues. The result was a marvelous website which we are very proud of.

We worked only with Daniel, who is the owner of the company. This was nice, because there were no junior account managers to deal with (we've had bad experience with this in the past). We know there were two designers and two developers involved in our project.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within 3 months of website launch, we saw an increase in traffic of 76% from Google. Also our bounce rates have dropped by 68%, and the time on page has doubled. This is without us doing anything else on SEO. We plan on investing in this in the future, to take full advantage of our new website.

We had excellent communication with the New Light Digital team. They went above and beyond to implement all our requests and feedback.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The experience and knowledge they brought to the table is very impressive. We wouldn't have been able to accomplish the results we are getting without their extensive background in UX design and SEO best practices.

Are there any areas for improvement?

It could have been done faster, but this was partially an issue on our end as well. In the end, the high quality of the product is the most important, and we are very happy with the result.

We've been working with New Light Digital since 2020, so there have been a lot of interactions with them so far. But in general, the stages of our collaboration have been as follows: (1) discovery phase; (2) strategy creation; (3) strategy execution. We've been very involved at every step of this process, and have always been able to ask questions, and intervene where changes were needed.

At the moment we touch base at least once per month, when we review the monthly reports and discuss priorities for the following month. They created our editorial calendar for the content for several years in advance, as well as the SEO strategy that has already shown significant results for our company. We're pleased with the collaboration with them.

Our new content and SEO strategy has increased our organic traffic by 120%, and our clients find the articles we publish to be informative and valuable. We constantly get compliments on the design and functionality of our website, and we're always recommending their work to friends and partners. An important note here is that they are extremely responsive with our maintenance requests. Things get fixed fast, and never take more than a few hours. This is a major difference with previous vendors that we worked with. Our revenue from organic search has increased by at least 60% YOY every year, since our collaboration started.

Our workflow is flawless. We send out an email any time there is a maintenance request and it gets addressed almost immediately. On the content marketing side, we approve the articles and advertorials before they get published each month. It has been an extremely smooth workflow.
