We had an excellent experience working with them, and our entire team was extremely satisfied with their work.

Our experience was fantastic. We negotiated initially, and they adhered to our budget, which was crucial to us. The team exhibited great flexibility and responsiveness. Communication was excellent, and they promptly addressed our concerns or requests. Additionally, they were always open to discussing any changes we wanted. We communicated through emails and phone calls.

Being a small company, we required their assistance to establish ourselves. They guided us throughout the process, and we learned a lot from them.

I’m one of the principals at GreenEco, a company that sells compostable resin. We sell our resin in large quantities to companies that manufacture compostable or biodegradable single-use items for takeout food, such as bags, plates, cups, and cutlery.

We were a startup company, so we were looking for help with branding and website design and development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

New Design Group has been responsible for creating our branding and designing and developing our website. Firstly, they helped us with our branding, which included designing the logos and branding assets. For this part of the project, they gave us several options to choose from, and we iterated on their designs until we were satisfied.

As for the website development project, New Design Group has built our website from scratch on WordPress so that we can make changes to it ourselves. During this process, we gave them descriptions of our products and photo, and we were also in charge of writing the copy describing our company. Still, they helped us improve the content and add more things to it we hadn't thought about. Now, they’re in charge of hosting our site.

We’ve worked directly with New Design Group’s director throughout the entire project. We’ve also worked with three other people from their team, including the VP of branding and creative, the art and creative director, and the senior web development manager.

We found them on Clutch, along with other companies we also interviewed. We ultimately chose New Design Group due to their personal touch; from the beginning, they took the time to understand our project.

Another reason why we chose New Design Group was that they provided us with a free one-hour consultation, which was a very appealing offer. That consultation was very valuable, and we didn’t feel rushed — I think we even went past one hour. After the consulting session, they met us in person to show us some examples of their past work so that we felt comfortable with hiring them.

We’re very happy with the results and the overall engagement with New Design Group. Our new website is beautiful and easy to use, and we’ve received very good feedback from potential customers. Throughout the process, New Design Group actively made a lot of great suggestions that added a lot of value to the final result.

Additionally, they created a very user-friendly backend on the site that allows us to easily make changes when needed. When they finished the site, they took the time to teach me the basics of how to use it, which was impressive — they didn’t need to do that.

New Design Group has delivered on time and on budget. As for communication goes, whenever we need to talk about something, we can easily go to the director.

What did you find most impressive about them?

New Design Group is very committed to the companies they work for to ensure they’re satisfied with the product, demonstrating a high level of customer service. We really appreciate their personal touch and the value they’ve brought to our project.

Moreover, the director is a very clever business person who invests time in getting clients. In our case, he was very successful gaining our business, and he has followed through with what he promised.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be great if New Design Group contracts were more specific regarding the process. They’re great at assessing projects and working in a way that fits their clients, but having a general overview of the process in advance could be helpful. Still, we were very happy with how everything went.

Put a lot of work into your original copy so that they can work with solid content.

Prior to working with New Design Group, my company had solely been operating on social media, and was in need of a website to grow our platform and user base. I reached out to NDG to build us a website and to offer us consultation on how to create an impactful message and direction for our digital marketing campaign.

My company wanted a website that emphasized our heath and fitness services that highlighted a personalized message and theme that was unique to the company's brand. We started by meeting with the team to discuss what this message was and how we wanted to relay it in a clear, concise way that users could easily understand and relate to. From there, we carefully outlined each area of the site, discussing in detail the information that would be on each page. We went over photo, video, formatting and selection for each page as well.

The website received a lot of positive feedback from our clients, peers and employees. The site is easy to use and looks amazing on both desktop and mobile platforms. The overall design and format is exactly what we were after when we first sat down and envisioned what we wanted from this project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The New Design Group team provided us with updates throughout the entire process, and the timeline we set to complete the project was achieved. Whenever we needed to reach out to the team at NDG, their responses were quick, and we were able to work together effectively to accomplish the goals we set out from the beginning of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was very impressed with how detail-oriented, professional, and caring each team member was worked on this project with me. From the very beginning, I felt that the team at NDG genuinely cared about my wants and needs with this project - they put a significant amount of thought and time into everything they did with the project and made sure to always consider the personalized aspect we wanted to achieve that reiterated the message and the brand of my company.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Initially my expectations for the timeline of the project were presumptuous of being completed within a couple of weeks, however, I was made aware that these projects take time and may require revision to ensure we meet the expectations and standards that we are after. More importantly, the overall quality and feedback of the site was more than worth the wait and I am very happy with this amazing project NDG did for us.

For project management, the team normally replies within 30 minutes of receiving our emails. They then get the task done right away. That’s great for us. To communicate, we use Outlook.
