I'm the IT administrator for a manufacturing company. We create yarn and thread solutions for medium and large-scale production needs across industries.

What challenge were you trying to address with NetSafe Solutions?

We needed to modernize and secure our Microsoft 365 environment, clean up licensing, tighten identity and access controls, and ensure our manufacturing operations weren't one compromised account away from a production-stopping incident.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

NetSafe Solutions handles our full managed IT and security stack, including day-to-day help desk support for our users, Microsoft 365 administration and licensing management, SentinelOne endpoint protection across our environment, and server and infrastructure support. The team is directly responsible for managing our Microsoft 365 tenant, including identity, licensing, Exchange, SharePoint, and Teams. NetSafe Solutions also manages our endpoint security via SentinelOne deployment and monitoring and our server infrastructure, including the SQL-based environment.On the implementation side, NetSafe Solutions has rolled out SentinelOne across our fleet, set up GDAP for secure delegated admin access, deployed conditional access and MFA policies, and handled our Microsoft 365 licensing optimization. The team also manages help desk, patching through NinjaOne, and proactive monitoring.

We've spent around $100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in January 2023, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We've eliminated a recurring SQL performance issue that was costing us hours of user productivity. We've also achieved full SentinelOne EDR coverage across our endpoints, which has improved our cyber insurance posture. In addition, we've reduced our Microsoft 365 licensing spend through the inactive user cleanup and F1 frontline right-sizing. Moreover, we've dropped our average ticket resolution time significantly compared to our previous setup. Just as important, we haven't had a security incident or major outage since NetSafe Solutions took over, and that stability is the outcome that matters most for a manufacturing operation.

NetSafe Solutions' project management is good. We communicate via in-person meetings, virtual meetings, and email or messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out most about NetSafe Solutions is their combination of technical depth and direct accountability. The team doesn't hide behind tiered support queues.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don't think there's anything they can improve on.

Netsafe Solutions manages everything from the firewall to the technology associated with it. They also handle O365, PC support, hardware support, and migrations.
