Cenatorium is a company in the area of ​​new technologies - fintech / proptech, operating since 2012 in the real estate sector, running spatial databases and real estate data, and providing proprietary IT solutions and analytical tools based on machine learning. I am the project manager/product owner.

For what projects/services did your company hire Neoteric, and what were your goals?

The Cenatorium wants to meet the challenges of the banking sector speed up the property valuation process by acting as an intermediary in between banks, and appraisers performing valuations using the application.

Currently, the Cenatorium acts as such an intermediary, but the trial is underway mainly using Excel files as the main tool storing and updating information about processed orders and on direct contact between the Cenatorium team a appraisers.

Automating the process, including the implementation of many activities from the level and through the application will automatically speed up the service process orders

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We took many factors into account. We conducted 3 stages of talks with various companies. The choice of Neoteric was determined by their experience, flexibility, ability to build relationships and a pro-customer approach.

Work on the product was divided into several phases:

1. in phase one:
   • preliminary functional requirements for System (in the form of so-called "user stories" with acceptance criteria)
   • simple "wireframes" were developed to illustrate the process use of the application by its users.
2. in the second phase, the MVP was carried out, which included:
   • creating a back-end layer of the application cooperating with the API external company
   • work on the front-end layer of the application based on mockups and description of the functionalities developed in the first phase.

A key requirement defined on the part of an external company is the ability to connect to the API. They were carried out in parallel work on the front-end application layer for handling orders in contact with property appraisers.

The system works productively. It was possible to implement it within the assumed budget, despite delays in providing documentation from an external company. For half a year, over 1000 detailed real estate valuation orders were completed there.

Sometimes they get bogged down in calls.. I prefer async comms ... but its not that bad
