Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the head of Operations for Tera Projects & Shipping Sdn. Bhd. Tera Projects & Shipping is a freight forwarding, heavy lifting, charter shipping, and project management company based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. For over 15 years Tera has been serving high profile clients with various logistical and project management services and has carved an envious distinction in the management of complex and critical heavy lifting and the shipping industry.

For what projects/services did your company hire Neon Videos, and what were your goals?

We hired Neon Videos to create multiple project documentary videos involving heavy lifting, ship-to-ship transfer of cargo, and dismantling of a factory from Malaysia.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We did an online search followed by face-to-face meetings to gauge the capabilities of the vendors. Then we asked them to produce a proposal on how they would go about making the video and also submit quotations.

Before the project started, we had a few rounds of discussion in which we explained to the team from Neon the process we were going to follow. Based on the local requirements, Neon and its partners took the approvals from local authorities for the shoot. This was necessary as we had to shoot inside Ports and also use drone cameras. Once the shooting was completed, Neon edited the videos to the desired length and showed us the first draft for our feedback. Upon getting our feedback, they would further improve on the video and add voiceovers, animation, music, etc. to deliver the final output to us.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

Though the project had a start and end date, sometimes there were delays due to unforeseeable circumstances e.g., ship delays, turbulence at sea, unfavorable weather conditions, etc. The team from Neon was very flexible to meet all our needs and available on call. The project also involved the team to working closely with us and understand the entire process thoroughly. The team at Neon ensured that they understood the process and the criticalities of each of the steps. Finally, when the video had to be edited, Neon took all our inputs and made sure the final output was as per our satisfaction.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have been using these videos created by Neon during our presentations to new clients and they help us to convey our capabilities in a much better way. We have also been using the videos on our website for lead generation.

The understanding of the project and the legalities was a major concern for us, which Neon did well to understand well in advance. They also spent a lot of time to clarify any doubts beforehand and made sure the process runs smoothly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They dedicated a lot of time to understand our work and made sure the process is well documented. They had a single point of contact which helped in the easy flow of communication. Their work in terms of the final video was very good and as per our requirements. They were also fast in delivering the final output as well as any shot edits, we needed midway. The team is very accommodating and eager to help us out.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are very happy with Neon and are constantly working with them regularly

For what projects/services did your company hire Neon Videos, and what were your goals?

We hired Neon Videos to create multiple promotional videos and corporate videos involving 2D animation, 3D animation, live action shoots for TV Commercials and social media videos.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We did online search followed by proposal presentations and quotation submissions. We needed a dedicated team to continuously provide us with high quality videos for promoting our FMCG products on multiple platforms and media.

The team was given the brief of the product and the market as well as the marketing goals. Then they were asked to come up with multiple options for the concept. Once we selected a concept, Neon developed a scene-by-scene storyboard and the got our approval after discussions. Once the storyboard was ready, the production process started.

In the case of the TVC, Neon hired the models and studio and went about with the shooting. For 3D and 2D animation, the production was mainly in the studio of Neon, and they came up with the first draft. Once we approved the drafts, they ran the renders for the final video with all the post production like music, multiple language dubbing and special effects.

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We Worked with Mr. Deb who plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep us informed the entire way. His way of dealing with us is super friendly and professional.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The videos generated very high viewership on TV as they were interesting and impactful. On digital platform the video developed by Neon Videos helped us gain lots of share and engagement. The videos were indirectly related to the sales growth in all the markets which we used them.

The team at Neon was very friendly and were always reachable. The workflow was easy as they first took the effort to understand our business, products and markets in detail and then came up with the concept. This greatly helped the project management as they were like a part of our marketing team.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very passionate about the success of the project and put in all efforts to get the campaigns run successfully. They took great effort to understand our business and markets. They came up with out-of-the-box ideas and executed them successfully within our budgets.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing, our experience was amazing and we wish them all the best in the future
