I was previously the Digital Marketing Manager at Creative Agency 'The Rowdy Group' delivering all elements of creative marketing campaigns including digital marketing.

We hired Neon Treehouse to assist us with some Google Search and Google Display Advertising campaigns as we didn't have sufficient capacity in house at the time. Our goals were to deliver conversions and growth for our clients through Google ad campaigns.

We had our own client lead who was our go to, but we also met regularly with the CEO and others in the agency so were well looked after.

While exact results are confidential, Neon Treehouse delivered consistent results and growth for our client campaigns and we couldn't have been happier with the outcomes.

Friendly yet professional communication, always ready to take a call or catch up to review performance. They kept in regular contact and their campaign onboarding process was excellent and very thorough. I loved their use of digital tools to make the process more efficient and innovative.

I have collaborated with NeonTreehouse on a range of projects, including social media marketing, website and landing page updates, as well as digital advertising on Meta/Facebook and Google for an Adelaide Hills-based winery and restaurant. I also engaged them to run lead generation campaigns for a mining technology company, promoting a live webinar through Google Ads, Meta/Facebook, and LinkedIn.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Every marketing client I’ve worked with has a “bad ex-girlfriend agency” story — a cautionary tale of paying large sums to an agency that promised the world but delivered nothing. NeonTreehouse is the complete opposite. They consistently under-promise and over-deliver, setting clear, realistic expectations and then exceeding them. I would confidently trust them to guide someone or a business running ads for the very first time, just as I would recommend them as a seamless digital extension to an already well-oiled marketing team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Neon Treehouse could have done differently?

We crossed our wires on the desired outcome of a project once. We had a kickoff call (admittedly, my thoughts were wandering with ideas and not crystal clear.) I left that call understanding the campaign was going in one direction and a few days later, they delivered a proposal taking the campaign in a rather different direction, which made sense but wasn't what I thought I'd asked for.

In hindsight, I should have followed up with a quick quick bullet point email laying out the exact campaign I wanted (and I probably should have been more clear about my expectations) but we sorted it out with a call and all was well.
