In order to provide ongoing experimentation and optimization, we were searching for a specialized experimentation partner for this engagement who could support a full scope experimentation program that included goal orientation, strategy, road mapping, project management, design, development, experiment results analysis, etc. 

By using their tried-and-true technique of qualitative research and statistically valid testing, the Neon Growth team was able to obtain a deeper insight of our brands' customers, including their behaviors and motivators. 

By using tried-and-true frameworks, procedures, and techniques for a successful experimentation approach, they also assisted us in adding greater rigor to the experimental process. Our internal team received knowledge transfer and experiential education from the Neon Growth team during the engagement.

Growth in website conversion rates that has a quantifiable effect on the number of leads produced and the revenue generated by e-commerce.

We asked Neon Growth to take the charge in helping our brand started on Facebook advertising. Their team helped with the set-up, which was not easy because we are a financial institution. We also asked Neon Growth to create and run Facebook ad campaigns that were focused on customer retention. F,rom October 23 to January 24, we've seen over 3600 conversions at about $14 CPA. To give context, our CPA on other platforms range anywhere between $60-$140.

• Over 3600 conversions in a 3-month time period. 
• 90% better CPA verses other channels of marketing. 
• Media spend is much more efficient working with Neon Growth.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found their working knowledge of Facebook marketing to be very impressive. They had data to back up their strategy, and they knew exactly what to do to help us get where we needed to be.

Are there any areas for improvement or something NEON Growth could have done differently?

We are a financial institution, so the language that we speak has to be very precise. I thought Neon Growth wanted to be more creative than our legal team allowed us to be. There should've been more upfront conversations about brand standards and guidelines, but it didn't take long for Neon Growth to figure it out and adjust to our needs.

I’m the owner of Crump & Co., an online children’s boutique.

What challenge were you trying to address with NEON GROWTH?

We were trying to reach new customers. We were getting people to our website, but they weren't converting, so our main objective was to put our ads in front of people that would actually increase our conversions.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

NEON GROWTH has been responsible for creating and launching paid ads on Facebook and Instagram to help us grow. Although we're responsible for doing our own photography and video, the team has been responsible for putting the creatives together.

NEON GROWTH has also helped us integrate apps on our store to create a better UX throughout our website. They've connected us with other partners to rebuild and restructure our website to ultimately improve the shopping experience.

Additionally, NEON GROWTH has done a lot of market analysis and brand research on our competitors to keep us competitive in the market. Their team has done a lot for us, so they're a one-stop shop for e-commerce.

What is the team composition?

I communicate with Dan (Founder) and Rosie (Director of Marketing Operations) directly, but NEON GROWTH also has a marketing team that helps with ads and campaigns.

How did you come to work with NEON GROWTH?

Prior to owning my own business, I worked for a company that used NEON GROWTH, so I met Dan and Rosie at that company. When that company went out of business, I started my own online e-commerce. As soon as I knew that I needed a marketing team, they were the only people that I wanted to work with. I didn't reach out to anyone else. I knew that I could trust them and that they were loyal, so they wouldn't simply take my money for their own personal benefit.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay NEON GROWTH a percentage of what they do per month regarding our ads. Currently, we pay them around $10,000–$20,000 a month, not including the actual ad spend.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in February 2024, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

All of our metrics have increased since we started working with NEON GROWTH, including web traffic, inquiries, and sales. Overall, I can't say enough good things about NEON GROWTH.

How did NEON GROWTH perform from a project management standpoint?

NEON GROWTH is quick and efficient, and they deliver on time and on budget. We meet with them weekly to go over our strategy, and they show us the analytics for each month throughout the year. We also go over the areas we need to boost based on data, as well as the ads we need to slow down based on the metrics. We communicate via Zoom calls, emails, and phone calls.

Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

Dan and Rosie are the best. They always answer our questions.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What stands out about NEON GROWTH is their longevity approach. They want us to be successful long-term and are willing to make slow, steady progress instead of just taking our money, throwing it into Facebook, and hoping for the best. The team checks everything daily and adjusts ad spend as needed. They’re attentive to the results every single day.

Moreover, NEON GROWTH always steers me on the right path. For example, I had a meeting with Dan today, and I told him that I wanted to increase the ad spend. However, he told me that it wasn't a good idea. He could have just agreed and gotten more money from me. Nonetheless, his end game is longevity and building relationships with their clients that last over five or more years.

One time, we got hacked in Meta, but NEON GROWTH was great and stayed on top of reaching out to people who could help us. The team really went above and beyond in doing everything needed to get our account back.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can't think of anything that I would want them to do differently.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Do whatever Dan and Rosie recommend. They know what they're doing, so do their suggestions and have some patience, and it will all come together.

Neon growth came in on a quick timeline with only a few weeks to plan and implement a full holiday media strategy. Implementing new creative, developing new campaigns, testing audiences, media spend plan recommendations, complex reporting.

Our main goal was increased ROAS. While this was constantly measured, Neon Growth provided granular analysis into each ad, both past and current, highlighting the key successes and failures.
