I'm the founder and director of Contra Studio, a digital studio that designs and develops custom digital products. We help companies connect with users and seize new opportunities through innovative design, technology, and collaborative processes.

What challenge were you trying to address with Nea Studio?

We needed a landing page with animated elements and a brand refresh for a real estate project in the US. We had very high-quality standards on both the design and the motion side.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We shared the brief and the client's requirements, and Nea Studio took it from there. Their work covered the landing page design, the motion direction for the animated elements, and the brand refresh, including the logotype, palette, typography, and how the system carries across the site. They presented directions, we reviewed them together, and they iterated until everything was ready to hand off to production.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The design and motion quality met the standard the client expected, and we didn't have to rework anything internally to get there, which was the main thing we looked for in a partner. The project went smoothly without any delays, and the client was happy with the result.Our end client approved the direction in two rounds with only minor adjustments. They specifically responded to the motion work on the landing page, which was the part of the brief they were most demanding about. Their feedback centered on specific refinements, and Nea Studio understood those notes and turned them around without friction. Coming from a client with a very high-quality bar, that level of acceptance was the clearest signal we could ask for.

How did Nea Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Communication was direct and consistent through Slack, with clear delivery checkpoints. Feedback rounds came back quickly, and they flagged questions early.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creativity was impressive. They rarely stopped at what the brief asked for. More than once, they came back with a proposal we hadn't considered, and it was better than what we had written down. Getting ideas that pushed the project further was what made this partnership worth it for us.

Are there any areas they could improve?

On a couple of occasions, we would have liked more written rationale alongside the visual presentations, though this never affected the outcome.

We needed to develop a professional website that better reflected our identity, services, and positioning. We were looking for a modern, clear, and functional website aligned with the image we wanted to project as a firm.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Nea Studio handled the full design and development of our website. The scope included the website structure, visual design, organization and presentation of our services and content, mobile responsiveness, and a clear and professional UX. The team was responsible for designing and implementing the main sections of the website, including the homepage, service pages, corporate information, contact sections, and the overall navigation structure. They also worked on adapting the content to ensure it was clear, professional, and consistent with our identity while making sure the website worked properly across desktop and mobile devices.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Although we didn’t establish specific numerical KPIs at the beginning of the project, the success was clear through several tangible outcomes. We launched a fully functional, professional, and mobile-responsive website, and the project was completed very efficiently and within a fast turnaround time. We also highly valued Nea Studio’s responsiveness when handling small adjustments and updates after launch.After the launch, we received very positive feedback from clients and colleagues, particularly regarding the professional design, clarity of the information, and ease of navigation. They also highlighted that the website presented a more modern and solid image of our firm. We also noticed an improvement in website engagement and in the way clients and contacts learned about the firm after launch. We also found it much easier to share our services and generate conversations through the website.

How did Nea Studio perform from a project management standpoint?

Nea Studio’s project management was very good. The team maintained clear and consistent communication throughout the entire process, was highly responsive to our feedback, and handled adjustments efficiently. They also delivered within the agreed timeline and were able to develop and launch the website quickly without compromising quality.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What we liked most about Nea Studio was how easy they were to work with. They understood what we wanted very quickly and were always available to listen to our feedback and answer our questions, so the whole process felt very smooth. We also really appreciated that even after the website was delivered, they continued to be available whenever we needed a small adjustment.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Overall, we were very satisfied with the project and didn’t have any major issues. If we had to mention something, it might have been helpful to define some of the content and smaller adjustments in more detail from the beginning. However, the process was very good, and Nea Studio was always available to resolve anything that came up.

Then, we used what we built in this first stage to create some stunning designs for our mobile investment app., working through complex user flows and specific business model logic.

The team really pushes to deliver a high quality work, through weekly calls to iterate fast and understand the product thoroughfully.
